While antara rushed back to the hotel she could hear the sound of several gunshots fuming in the air breaking the silence of valley. As she came back to hotel, the scenario was totally different from before. There was a huge chaos everywhere. All people were panic stricken and running here and there. Antara was searching for raghu there. But in middle of those pandemonium and havoc it was almost impossible to her to find him. She saw chacha in the crowd and she rushed to him. "Chacha!!.." antara said with a loud and fearful voice. "Arey antara beta... tum yahn kya kar rahe hoo.. jaon yahan se..." chacha said. "par chacha.. huya kya hain?!!" antara asked in confusion. "arey yahan see kuch door pee terrorists aur army o ke beach mein gunfire suru hoo gaya hain..." chacha informed. "kya?!!" antara's eyes widened. "issiliye too kahe rahi hoon... bhago yahan se abhi.." chacha said. "par chcha... apne mere dost dekha kya?!! Raghu koo.." she asked in hope. "kaun woo larka joo tumhare sath tha?!! Arey woo too firing hone se pahele hotel se bahar nikla tha naa?.. maine ussey ustaraf jate huye dekha..." chacha indicated towards a side and then suddenly he became afraid, "par ussi side mein too encounter chal raha hain...". antara's whole feature turned into ice. Raghu went to that side where the encounter was happening! What would be if he went near the area somehow?!! No way!! someone screamed from inside her and she rushed like mad on the road. "Arey biiya udhar mat jaon.. khatra hain..." chacha screamed from behind but she cared a damn.

"haan bole too sab ready hain naaa?!" Raghu asked. "haan haan sab ready hain... tum fikr mat karo.. hum log time pe pauch jayengey house boat par.." komal said from the other side of phone. "Thik hain, abhi apun rakhta hain." raghu said and ut the phone when he heard the shots of gunfire. As he was habituated with those things, the sound of gunfire didn't bother him much. Looking everywhere, with his alarmed eyes, he came near the road while the sounds of gunfire roared from distance. He saw the police and militaries were covering the area and taking visitors to the safe place. One army man saw him and came towards him, "bhaisahab, yahan se chaliye... yee jagah safe nahin hain." the army man said. "Firing ho rahi hain... terrorists aur humare officers ke beach." He informed. "kya?!!" he asked with worried voice. the first face came into his mind after listening to the news of firing was none other than but antara. "haan bhai ji... jaldi nikaliye yahan se... uss taraf chale jaiye.. woo area safe hain.." he said. raghu got a bit relived to know that the area near the restaurant was safe. At least that time yedi wouldn't face any other problem. He rushed towards the side of restaurant and while he was leaving the area, he saw the armies and police were blocking the area. He stormed back towards the hotel area. the hotel was almost deserted. He saw chacha was leaving with his men. He looked here and there but antara was nowhere to be seen. "Ab yee yedi kidhar gayi??!!" he asked with utter frustration and confusion scratching his head. He rushed towards chacha who was already on the road. "ee chacha sun.." he called out for chacha loudly. chacha's face widened looking at him . "arey beta tum yahan?!! Antara kahan hain?!! woo tumhare sath nahin hain?!" chacha asked. raghu's heart suddenly fluttered in unknown worry. "ee chacha... kya kahe raha hain tu.. antara too idhar hich thi naa, too woo apun ke sath kaose rahegi?.. apun hii too tujhse puchne ayya tha kii woo kidhar hain?!" raghu asked in anticipated voice. "Par beta antara too tumhee hii dhundne gayi thi.." chacha said. "KYA?!!!" raghu could swear that he never felt that much afraid in his whole life. "haan beta.. maine kahan bhi uss taraf encounter hoo raha hain. par usne meri baat suni hi nahin aur chali gayi.." chacha said. "YEDI!!!..." he ruffled his hairs in utter frustration and rushed back towards the danger zone.

Antara came near the place and faced the barricade of militaries. "Madam kahan jaa rahee hoo aap.. uss taraf khatra hain.." they stopped her. "Please mujhe jane di jiye... mera dost sayad wahan hain..." antara said worriedly. "dekhiye madam.. humne poora area khali kar diya hain.. hum army walo ke ilabha andar koi nahin hain.. please aap jaiyeen yahan se... agar humein aap ke dost mil gayee too hum unhe zaroor aap ke pass bhej dengey.." they assured. Antara begged with teary eyes to let her go inside but they wouldn't. "raghu... kahan hoo?.." she said with teary eyes looking towards the snow covered ground. Like a manic she started to run on the snow ground calling out his names.

Raghu reached out near the military barricade and asked for antara. One of them said that a girl came there just some moment ago and asking about her friend. "kahii aap hi uski woo dost too nahin na... wooo larki bhi green color ki suit paheni huyi thi..." he said. raghu's breath stopped, "kiss taraf gayi woo?" he asked with anticipation. The army men indicated towards the white snow ground lying ahead. Without wasting a moment, he came down on the snow with quick pace.

Both of them were searching for each other in the lonely snow ground. The gulmaarg valleey was totally empty due to the news of encounter. The sound of gunfire could be heard from distance. Antara was almost having tears in her eyes while searching for raghu. He didn't know the area well. What would happen if he somehow reached near the area of encounter?! She couldn't take the fear anymore. She felt like if something happened to raghu then everything would be end for her. She never knew that he meant that much for her! Tired and exhausted, she reached at a deserted place near a wooden cottage. Broken and devastated, she sat on the bench situated near the cottage. Where would she find him?! where?!! Tears streamed down her eyes. She sobbed silently seating there. No one was there to hear her cry rather than the snowy valley and cold wind which carried the sound further. "Raghu!!... Kahan chale gaye tum?!!" she said in chocked voice.

"Miss Kaul!!" Raghu screamed and moved crushing the snow in search for antara. God where was the crazy girl?! Who told her to go and search for him?!! he kicked on the snow and suddenly something shiny caught into his eyes. he got startled and lifted the thing. Antara's earring!! He knew that very well. She must be somewhere near. His eyes gleamed in hope and he looked everywhere. At some far distance a wooden cottage got into his view. Watching thoroughly, he got to see a bench and someone seating on it. from that distance, she looked like a green spot but it was enough for him to recognize her. he rushed towards the spot and at last reached there.

Antara felt that gaze on her which all of a sudden made her heartbeat flutter. She immediately looked back and saw him running towards the spot. Even in the tears the small smile crept on her face she also rushed towards raghu like a maniac. A small footbridge over an icy stream came on the way where they reached and both crushed on each other like a meteorite. Raghu's powerful hands embraced her delicate feature and imprisoned to his chest like he was never going to leave her from that position. Antara's tears soaked his shirt while he madly caressed her back and hairs placing warm kisses on her shoulder, like he wanted to imprison her everything in him forever. Antara was feeling secured and as well as lost in his embrace. She didn't know, what would be her state if she lost him. After the storm of emotional burst, raghu's face suddenly caught the anger. He forcefully caught antara's shoulder and made her look to his face. looking at his mad angry, gaze antara understood that he was upset. "Eee... tujhe chain se kahin raha nahin jata?! Loche mein parne ki bomari hain?!!" he asked madly shaking her shoulder. she just cried without saying anything. "Kahan thaa naa tujhse... udhar se hilna bhi mat.. kahan gayi thi tu?!! Pata hain kya halat ho gaya tha mera... pagalon ki tarah kab se tujhe dhoond raha hoon.. yee sab kya hain haan?!! Kyun ayii tuu idhar?!!" he asked madly ferociously shaking her nerves. "Tumhe hi too dhundne ayi thi... kahin nahin mil rahee the... tumhe pata hain main kitni dar gayi thi.." she asked looking helplessly to his angry eyes. "Aur apun koo dar war nahin lagta naaa?!!.." his voice rose, "S**a!!... Dimag satak raha tha... Udhar goli o ki awaz sunayi de rahi thi aur idhar apun kii sannse ruk raha tha... Hotel pee gaya too chacha nee kaha tuu idhar dauri... woo bhi jidhar firing chal rahi hain.. Apun ka wait naii kar sakti thi.. kuyun dhoond ne ayii mere ko..Kuch ho jata too... Tu khoo jati too?!.. apun koo naii milti too?!!" his voice almost broke at the last sentence. Tears streamed down her eyes vigorously while she just remained silent listening to his all harsh words. With trembling hands she touched his chicks startling him, triggering chills in his nerves. "Aue tumhe kuch ho jatta too?!! Mujhe fikar nahin hoti kya?!! Sirf tumhe hi fikar hoti hain?!!" she said in chocked voice and lowered her eyes to hide her tears. Raghu's hard angry jaw lines turned softer. His eyes got softer and painful. He wanted to make the day special for her and he was just doing reverse. He cupped her face and made her look into his eyes. Her eyes were full of pain and anguish. He leaned and placed an warm kiss on her forehead. She closed her eyes and become calm. he joined his forehead with her. "Ab aisi pagalpaan kabhi mat karna samjhi..." he said in ordering but still in a tender voice. she just nodded silently. Their warm breath touched each other's face. they stood there for long like that till the sound of gunfire broke their trance. They got started and looked worriedly towards the side from where the sound was coming. Some army people were rushing to the spot. "miss kaul.. chal pahelee idhar see khisakte hain... abhi idhar safe nahii hain.." raghu said. antara just nodded in agreement. Both of them came down from the footbridge area holding each other's hand.

After some moment when they were out of gulmaarg area, they found themselves near the car stand of gulmarg. Both were standing silently away from each other. Raghu saw antara's sad face and felt bad for scolding her on his b'day. He was all set to cheer her up and execute his plan. Antara was seating quite miffed when raghu came and covered her eyes with his hands.

Antara(surprised): raghu tumne meri ankhein kyun bandh kar di...

Raghu: Miss kaul.. apun tere koo kahi le jana chahta hain... chal apun ke sath...

Antara: Kahaan?!! Au raise ankh bandh kar ke...

Raghu: Arey tuu bas chal apun ke sath haan... aur jabtak apun uss jagah naa pauchte apun teri ankh naii kholega samjhi?

Antara: Raghu yee kya bachpana hain?!!

Raghu: bachpaa nahi.. bole too surpress !!

Antara: woo surpress nahin surprise hota hain...

Raghu: thik hain thik hain.. ab apun ki class mat lee.. aur chal..

raghu held her hand and lead her to the road closing her eyes. Antara denied at first but raghu was raghu! he convinced her to go with him. Holding his hand and closing her eyes, antara set for an unknown journey to her very own town shrinagar.
