Raghu lifted himself from antara and stood up on his feet. He stretched his hands to her for help. She accepted with a huge grin on face.

raghu:yedi ab theek hai ya aur bhi skating kar ke dikha doon..bole to apun ko to bahot maja are la hain..
antra(laughing):nahin raghu aur zarurat nahin hain bas bahut ho gaya...
raghu:too abb teri shart..(he smirked)
antra(smiling):theek hai raghu main tumhari guide ban ne ke liye ready ho..BTW agar thodi aur der tum yaha rukenge to pata nahi kitno ke sar toot jayen gey..
raghu:haan haan... hai ab chale?!!
antra:are wahh... aaj tumne meeri baton kaa kuch maind nahin kiya...
raghu:pata nahi kynu..par aaj sirf sun ne ko dill kar ta hai..

antra looked raghu's eyes, pleasant, dark, full of intense unknown emotions.

Antra (smiling): chalo...

Raghu grinned and at last left the skiing accessories on shop.
"oh hello bahi bole to khud skiing karke dekho na...shop main kahde rahe kar samajh ata hai kya?!..raghu said to shopkeeper. "kuosy(kya)"..the shopkeeper said..
"raghu ise hindi nahi ati.." antra said laughing.
"to apun english main baat karta hai.."raghu said pulling his collar.
"raghu chalo.." antra said rolling her eyes.
"tu chup re yedi.." raghu said and moved to shopkeeper, "hiii bole to how are u..apun from mumbhai..u look beautifull..kasmeer is beaitifull..shop good"..raghu said in his broken hindi-english mixed language.
"raghu..kya kahe rahe ho. Ab chalo bhii!!" antra said. "tu c hu p..re..yadi.." the shopkeeper said. "hnn.." antara looked towards shopkeeper with wide eyes. "dekha yedi ye bhi samj gya.." raghu said teasing.
"raghu" antra was miffed and walked away from his on heavy pace. "arey maaf kar de..soory.!!".raghu said and followed her. Antara sighed and looked towards him. "Chal yaar... ab jyada mooh mat bana,... aaj ke din aisa saru saa thobra acha nahin lagta..." raghu said in flow. Antara's heart suddenly increased at his words. What did he mean?! Did he knew about her b'day?!!

"aaj ke din matlab?!!" she asked holding her breath. "matlab... matlab woo... aaj mausam bole too kitna jhakass hain... woo dhoop bhi kitna tez tarrar hain... baraf bhi bahut thand hain... aur pata nahin kya hain.. baki sab bakwas hain... too..." he didn't know what he was blabbering. "rehene doo tum, main samajh gayi..." Antara giggled, how did she expected to know him about her b'day. Those things were not just his cup of tea. "Acha huya kii tuu samajh gayi... woo sun apun ye sari kasrat kar ke thaak gaya hai aur...bukh bhi lagi hai.. chal kuch kha lete hain.." raghu said. "Acha chalo mare sath.." antra said..

They came t the restaurant situated at a corner of snow ground. they came and sat together on a table situated near the glass window. Through the window you can get aa beautiful view of gulmarg valley.
"antra bitiya kaise ho aap?.." a old man came and said with a smile. "are chaca aap?!" antara smiled widely. "main theek honn.. aap kaise hain?!" she asked. "main thik hoon bitiya...aap kashmir wapas kab ayein?!" chaha asked. "Parshu wapas ayii hoon chacha... issey miliye yee mera dost hain raghu!" antra said introducing chacha and raghu. "betiya chay laoon?!..itni tandi hain bahar.." chacha asked. Antra asked raghu that if he would like to have a cup of tea. Raghu nodded with a smile. "chacha aap kaa woo special noon chay lee aiyee ga. Kya hain naa.. kewaa pi pi ke mera friend bore ho gaya hain.." antara said giggling. Chacha smiled and left. "aaj kaal bahut tanna marne lagi hain tuu mujhe.." raghu asked with a smiling frown. "bura lagta haubn kya?!!" antara asked with a small guilt in her face. raghu smiled and nodded in no. "too sunte raho..." antara teased. "haan aaj too sun naa hi parega... aaj too tujhe kuch kahe bhi nahin sakta..." raghu chuckled. "kyun?!!" antara asked in confusion. "kuch naii... acha yee bata.. yee woo... noon chay kya hain yee.." he asked. "arey woo... kashmir mein do tarah ke chai ban te hain.. ek too kahwah aur dusri hain noon chay yaa fir namkeen chay jo salty hoti hain...kawah specialy health ke liye acha hain.. par tast chahoon naa too noon chai is the best... iss liye maine socha ki sayad tumhe pasand aa jayein.." antara said. "chall abb yee bhi try kar lete hain.. waisey ek baat bata...ye chacha tuje jante kaise hai?" raghu asked.
"Hum jab bhi gulmarg ate the naa issi returant mein chai pine ate the..pappa koo bahut psand tha yahan ki chai.." antra said wityh a huge smile.
Chacha came and served hot. The pink colored tea with salt, almond and pistachios smelled really awesome. "wahh... khusbu too bariya aa rahi hain!!" raghu said. "Ek sip le ke too dekhoo.. mar ke dam tak isska taste nahin bhool paoge.." antra said and spread a cup to raghu. Raghu smiled and hold the cup. Their fingers touched. Again that strange electric ran through their nerves by that touch. Antara's eyes widened a bit as raghu looked deeply in her eyes. She couldn't bear the intensity of his eyes, she felt like it was piercing her soul. Like nothing couldn't be hidden from those eyes. She looked away while her chicks got a faint pink glow. Still their fingers were touching each other. Raghu smirked and rubbed his finger on her. He felt how her hand shook by that touch. Antara somehow managed to pull back her fingers from his hold leaving the cup. Raghu smirked as he saw she was trying to avoid her gaze. Antara was trying hard to holding herself. For some days his touch was giving her awkward feeling. She was feeling that in her nerves. "oye yedi..." raghu snapped his fingers in front of her eyes. "hnnn!!" antara looked back to him. "ab kidhar ghum ho gayi?!!" he asked. "kuch nahii tum chai pio.." antara said and smiled dragging her own cup. "wahh, sachmein... ydee chay too jhakass hain... woo machmach kaheta hain kii khate hii lagta hain ki swarg ho jaoon... apun ka matlab ki swarg mein pauch jaoon... bilkul waisa taste hain..." he said wwith a huge grin. Antara smiled looking at his huge grin. He looked sso innocent with that smile, a smile which could warm anyone. The awkwardness was gone again and they were back in their usual mode. Sipping the hot tea together and enjoying the sun playing on the snow they talked a lot. As usual antara was most talkative and continuously telling him about her old days of Kashmir

"Raghu jante ho hum hamesa yahi ate the...papa main, mamaa, noor apa ishan..bahot acha lagta thee... main aur ishan humesha baraf kaa gola bana kar ek dusre pee attack karte rahete thee aur momma humein daant ti reheti thi... lekin baad mein papa aur noor appa ke kehene par woo bhi khel mein doob jatein the.." antra said with a big smile on her face. Her eyes was gleaming as she told him abput those old days. Raghu just continued to listen to her sweet blabbers with smile, she looked so cheerful and fill of life, just he loved her to see. "papa kashmir se bahot pyaar kar te hai..vo kabhi kashmir chod na nahi chahte the.." she smiled and looked towards raghu's smiling face. Antara suddenly realized that for the whole half an hour she was blabbering alone and raghu was all silent, she became a quite conscious.
"Sorry.. main syad tumhe apne baton se bore lar rahi hoon... I am really sorry... woo bass.. unn dino ki bahut yaad ati hain... kissi se kuch kahe bhi nahin pati..ghar pe kissi se bhi kahene jaoon too unhe bura lagta hain.. iss liye aaj bahut dinoo bad jab bolne kaa mauka mila too... apne aap ko rok nahin payi." Antara said with a sad smile. "Miss kaul..." raghu kept his hand on her palm and squeezed. Even in that moment antara felt goosebumps by his touch but his deep voice was so comforting. It didn't let her feel awkward. "Bol naa... joo dil mein ayeein bol de.. Apun hain tere sath.. sun ne ke liye... Tu bas bol taa jaa... apun sun ne ke liye ready hain.. AKHAA LIFE KE LIYE TERI BAAT SUN NE KOO TAIYAR HAIN!!" his deep voice made her heart flutter. A deeo breth escaped from her chest as she looked towards his faithful, concerened intense life. Did he really meant that?! Would be he there for her, for the whole life?! She didn't know but the word created unknown effect in her. "aur waisey bhi tuu apni 24 hours entertainment channel hain. apun tere se kabhi bore ho hi naii sakta.." Raghu said winking. That caused her trance broke. "Raghu!!" Antara said in a bit annoyed face. "Aur naii too kya.. tujhe pata hain.. tere rahete ghar pee TV ka bhi zarurat naii.." Raghu said laughing. Antara became a bit miffed but at last she also joined his laugh. Raghu's ph rang and he took out the phone. "hello sun nahi raha.." raghu said
"yaha network nahi hai.. bahar jaa ke dekhoo sayad mil jayein.." antra said. "Thik hain miss kaul apun jatta hain.. aur jaldi se wapas atta hain.. tuu hilna mat idhar se samjhi?!!" He almost warned. "Acha baba... tum jaon.. main yaahin hoon.." antara assured. Raghu went outside the restaurant to receive the call. After raghu went outside, antara looked at the front table. the table which was used to be the permanent place of she and her family. Whenever they came at the restaurant, they sat on the table.The old days flashed in front of her eyes. She saw clearly that her father was seating on the left hand
side chair of that table trying to manaofy her angry momma. She, ishan and noor appa all were also joining hands with her poppa in his mission to convince her momma.
A small smile crept on her face. As well as a lone tear came out of her eyes. Where were those days?! Lost like some treasures. She sighed. No!! She was not going to cry on her special day, her b'day! She looked around and raghu was not there. She decided to call her family and came outside ato talk ti her parents. She came at some far distance from the hotel and at last got the network. She dialed the no pf her pappa.
"hello papa.." antra said cheerfully. "hello antara... just wait, everyone is here.. I am switching in the speaker. We all are excited to talk to you." Dr kaul said and switched on the speaker.
"happy b'day to u dear doll.." All of their loud happy voices hit her ear in unison making her smile and laugh. "thank you all..." antara said.
"Beta we are missing you so much. How are you?!" dr kaul asked.

"I am absolutely fine pappa.." antara said.

"Beta tumne subha subha sivji ke darshan too kiye hain naa?" mrs kaul asked.

"Haan momma... main kaise bhool sakti hoon.. aur main abhi gulmarg mein hi hoon..Papa aap ko pata hain main usssi restaureant main hu jaha hum ayya karte they.." she said.

"Didu, happy b'day!!.. I am missing you... please come back soo.." ishan's voice float in her ear. "I am missing you too ishu.. and thank you.." antara said.

"Beta tum apna khayal rakhna haan.. koi problem too nahin hain naa wahan?!!" dr kaul asked.

"nahin pappa... it's all fine.. don't worry.. Yeda hain naa yahan.." antara ssid giggling.

"yeda.." Dr kaul asked

"bahot lambi kahani hai papa baad main suna doon gi" antra said smiling, "okk pappa main rakhtii hoon abb..." she said. "thik hain beta..." dr kaul said. Antara cut the phone with a huge smile.

Suddenly she heard a sound of gunfire which changed her smile into horror. The sound of gunfire roared on the silent valley.
"Raghu!!..." antara gasped with wide eyes.
