Raghu n Antara entered their respective rooms. As soon as he came in he dumped his luggage n fell on d bed wid open arms. He closed his eyes n took a breath of relief. The cold n refreshing air of kashmir was simply so soothing. The atmosphere was so calm n pleasant. The environment around was heavenly. Living in d middle of the daal lake is same as being in heaven isn't it? Soon he heard antara humming, a wide smile spread on his face. he was overwhelmed, the day couldn't hav gotten any better. He jst wanted 2 freeze the moment n live it forever.
Raghu- s*** aab apun ko pata chali kashmir ko swarg bole toh heaven on earth kyu kehte hai!
Raghu jst kept his eyes closed for a while n then open them with realisation n also with naughtiness. He could clearly listen 2 Antara's movements n what's going on in her room. If he could hear her soft humming then wat will he not b able 2 hear? Their rooms were separated by just a thin wooden wall throught which one could clearly listen 2 the movements in the next room. Raghu came forward n kept his palm on the wooden wall.
On the other side Antara felt an unusual touch. Although she was all alone she felt like Raghu touched her, she felt his presence around him. She unknowingly started walking towards the wall n kept her palm exactly where Raghu kept his on the other side. Raghu too felt as if Antara was holding his hand. He smiled a bit n Antara too got a wide smile on her face. But a loud bang broke their perfect moment. Antara turned around n saw her suitcase on d floor. It fell from the top of the wardrobe.
Antara- oh no! Yeh suitcase kaise gir gaya? Itni mehnat se toh upar rakha tha!
Antara pouted.
Raghu understood what was going on in her room. How could he miss this chance to tease her?
Raghu- OYE YEDI!!!
Antara was stuggling with her suitcase n trying to place it again on top of the wardrobe bt hearing Raghu's voice she got startled n turned around facing the wall. She again pouted n kept both her hands on her waist.
Raghu- waise toh aise muh banaye rehti hai jaise poore desh ko sambhalti hai par asal mein ek bag bhi nahi sambhalta tere se.
Antara- bag nahi suitcase hai! Waise tumhe kya pata ek ladki ka bag kitna bhaari hota hai? Waise Tum toh ek jhola leke aah gaye!!!
Raghu- haa.. apun ko nahi pata tera bag... sorry sorry suitcase kitna bhaari hai. Mumbai se leke Kashmir tak tera suitcase apun hi toh utthaya tha! Tu toh aapna naazuk sa purse leke thumak-thumak ke chal rahi thi. Apun tera coolie hai kya??
Raghu got no response so he naughtily said
Raghu-Waise apun tera permanent coolie banne ke liye bhi ready hai bole toh lifetime ke liye.
Her heart pounded at his words. But she soon shoved away the thoughts and concentrated on her work. Raghu stood at the same spot near the wall listening to her sound. Antara was arranging her heavy bags on the upper rack of closet standing on a stool. She again heard Raghu's voice n said dryly
Antara- nahi! Koi zarurat nahi hai coolie banne ki aur nahi kuch aur banne ki!
Saying this she slipped, a gasp escaped her mouth n she landed straight on the floor. Raghu heard her scream and his heart jumped in fear and anticipation. he rushed to antara's room screaming her name loudly. he shot open her door n saw Antara on the ground holding her right ankle. tears had jst started forming n her face turned into that of a kid who jst lost her favourite toy. Raghu rushed n sat next 2 her holding her ankle with his hand.
Raghu- tu yedi hai kya? Kuch nahi aata tujhe!
Apun ko keh deti toh apun tujhpe bill phadta kya? Aab dekh chott lag gayi na? S*** tera paair toh sojh gaya hai...
Antara- Raghu kuch nahi hua, main theek hu. Dekho ek dum fit n fine hu aab jao mujhe utthne do.
Antara tried 2 get up bt as soon as she stood up she cried in pain n again sat on d floor. She got a sprain n was in great pain. Raghu couldn't see his Ms.Kaul in such a state so he caught her waist n lifted her in his arms n gently placed her on her bed. He examined her n found another cut on her hand which was bleeding.
Raghu- s*** khoon... tere haath se toh khoon aah raha hai
Raghu rushed n got the first aid box
Antara- Raghu shaant ho jao, itna bhi kuch serious nahi hai
Raghu- chup! Agar aur kuch bola na toh yeh patti tere muh pe baand doonga! aab aapni ungli mooh pe rakh aur chup ho ja.
Antara jst kept quiet watching Raghu applying medicine on her hand n then on her ankle. After that, raghu didn't let antara move a single inch from the bed. He arranged all her luggage in the wardrobe n other stuff in their correct places and she just told him where to put everything. Looking at him antara just thought with amusement that why did he care about her so much that he couldn't even stand a single scratch of her. his utter concern was making her amused everyday.
Raghu- agar tune phir se aise tarzan bann ke upar chadne ki koshish ki toh apun tujhe nahi chodega! Tere ko ek kharoch bhi aayi na toh mujhse bura koi nahi hoga. Samjhi na yedi!!!
And he left the room, even it seemed like threat it was full of concern which amused antara more.
