Episode 52
The balcony of the houseboat was beautiful. The wodden walls were decorated beautifully with rainbow colored glasses and sculptures. There were two cusion seat attached to the wall where the visitors could seat and enjoy the beautiful view of lake. Antara was enjoying the view and place and raghu as usual lost on his miss kaul and the only audience komal was having the fun to watch them secretly. "kaka!!"Komal called someone insode breaking their trance. The old caretaker of houseboat came and komal and introduced him to raghu and antara. "Kaka... yee aap ke mehman hain teen haft eke liye... inka pura ka pura khayal rakhna... aap shikara se inka saman le ke aiye... tab tak main inhe houseboat dikha deti hoon.." komal said. "thik hain madam.. aap inhe andar le jaiyen.. fikar mat kijiye.. main inka poora khayal rakhungi..." chacha said and moved towards the shikara downstairs. "Welcome to your own palace.." komal greeted and invited them in. raghu and antara didn't know that it was just the beginning of their amusement. Even antara was born and brought up in shrinagar... it was the first time she was visiting a houseboat and that was so beautiful. They both stepped in to explore the place with komal.
At first there was a huge living room with four beautiful couches arranged at the middle arround a glass made centre table. The walls were decorated with beautiful paintings and halogen lights which were switched off at the moment. There was also a TV set there. "yee raha yahan ke living room jahan pee aap subha saam ke naste ke sath movie ka maza le sakte hain. uss drawer mein bahut sare movies ka collection hain!!" komal indicated towards the drawer at side. "Wow!!.. kitna beautiful hain naa" antara said looking at each and every corner of the room. "sach mein.. bahut beautiful hain.." raghu commented looking straightly towards antaraa's smiling face. Komal smiled secretly, "chalo, ab main tumhe baaki ghar bhi dikha deti hoon..." she said and moved inside followed by them.
As they moved inside, they reached at the vast dining hall with a huge table at the middle on which the crockery sets, spoon sets, glasses were al arranged with napkins. Just like the royal arrangements of dinner. Looking at the granger both of their innocent eyes almost pooped out if their hole in amusement and excitement. Komal was showing the whole houseboat to them.
"aur ye raha tum dono ka bedroom..." komal said as they reached a huge corridor after the dining hall around which two bed rooms were situated. Those rooms were so beautiful and dreamy. Decorated with beautiful curtains and kashmiri carpets. With a bed at middle and a dressing table, closet and an attached washroom, the washroom was also so beautiful with marble decoration and a water tub at middle. The whole boat was lighted up only with florescent lights and they just imagined how beautiful and dreamy everything would look when the lights would be light up at night.
"abey, yee jagah too mast hain... ekdum woo kya bolta haain.. woo english picture mein woo romantic place!!" raghu commented with huge grin after the visit of whole houseboat.
"really komal!! Mujhe sach mein nahin pata tha ki yee jagah itni achi hain. u know shrinagar mein raheti hoon fir bhi aaj tak kabhi houseboat mein nahin ayya." Antara said admiring the room.
"well thank you guys for the appreciation. Abhi mujhe chalna hoga. Par kissi bhi cheez ki zarurat ho too ph zaroor karna.." komal said and bid goodbye. They left her at the balcony of houseboat. Komal waved her hand from shikara and they both waved back too.
After komal left them under chacha's care, both antara and raghu moved back to the corridor where the rooms were situated. Antara was happy that at least she would get a separate room for her at last.
"raghu if u don't mind. uss taraf ka room tum le lo... main yahan rahe jati hoon.. thik hain?" antara asked.
"haan thik hi hain.. galat kahan hain..." raghu said with miffed voice.
"kya huya tum aise kyun baat kar rahe ho?" antara was a bit confused.
"kuch naii.." raghu said drily.
Chacha brought their luggage and antara told him to take her luggage in her room and raghu's to other one.
"antra tuje to maja aa raha hoga naa... tujhe ek alag room joo mil gaaya.paar yee bata...agar rata ko fir se chue ne hamla kar diya too?" Raghu asked teasing. Antara frowned back to him, "raghu tum sayad bhool rahe hoo ki hum log pani ke upar hain. Yahan chuhe nahi atein hain... par haan... cokroches zaroor aa sakte hai.." even she was not less. Raghu jumped and looked here and there with conscious eyes. "bach ke rahena!!" Antara said laughing and moved inside her room. Raghu also moved inside his room with an annoyed face.
