PART 1

A courtyard in Kashmir was filled with ladies' laughter.

Saroj : Arrey Bappa..Tum sab log aisay kyu chup chaap sey behti ho??...Arrey khushi ka moka hai...To kuch geet gao...Aisay chup chap kyu ho??..

According to her, it was an auspicious time, so someone needs to pick up some beats and begin the rituals.

In another room a beautiful girl is standing at the window in a bridal attire...it was the wedding of Rukhsana kaul...

Girl: Didi..Jeeja Ji phone nahi Utah rahay...

The girl was pacing around the room behind Rukhsana...This was Antara Kaul...Rukhsana's younger sister...She was also dressed up to be part of the wedding...Tears formed in Rukhsana's eyes and led their way down the cheeks...

Rukhsana: Humay bohat dar lagraha hai Antara...hum yeh theek to kar rahay nah?...aur waisay bhi shaadi walay din itni baari rakam maangna..

She walks up to Antara...The wind blows through the window and makes Antara's hair fly and reveal her big Hazel eyes...Antara wipes her sisters tears..

Antara: Didi hum kuch bhi galat nahi kar rahay...aur issi kay liyay papa ko apni dukaan girh vey rakni hai..Tum chinta maat karo didi...Meh Jeeja Ji sey khud baat karu giy...Mujhey yakeen hai ki unko iss maang kay baaray meh kuch nahi pataa...

Rukhsana grabs hold of Antara's hand...

Ruku: Tumhay bhi dar lag raha hai na?...

Antu: ha...Didi...phar meh chaliy jao giy...tum maat roh...

Back in the courtyard the ladies are still laughing...They all stop laughing when they see two ladies bringing Rukhsana...Bua walks up to Rukhsana and brings her along with her...She makes Rukhsana sit...and tells the ladies to show her some talent and play some music..(Dhol)...

Walking into the courtyard was Ashok Kaul- Antara & Rukhsana's father...He loved his daughters more than his life...and could do anything for them... He was walking down the courtyard solemnly when someone called him and told him to taste the jalebi. He puts down a file he was holding in his hand, and tastes the sweet.

He praises the sweets which makes the Halwai happy...He turns to grab the file again, when he notices Rukhsana. He smiles, but tears up as he watches his daughter.

Bua starts singing old traditional songs...While Bua is singing; Rukhsana is looking around the courtyard - presumably for Antara...Antara was upstairs, removing her Heels and tying her sneakers up...Ready to go...Bua came up to Ashok and brought him in to dance, Antara Quickly runs down the stairs holding up her lehnga and quickly steals the file Her dad had left. Rukhsana was watching as Antara ran out the gate.

The music continues, Geeta Kaul- Antara & Rukhsana's mother comes out looking for her husband Ashok, she finds Ashok dancing and walks up to him and silently asks him a question, Ashok nods warily. He brings her out to dance telling her to leave all the worries, Antara was standing at open doorway, waving to Rukhsana...She wiped her tear and slowly walked away.

Bua starts talking about Rukhsana's sister, how naughty she is and how much mischief's she does...just then everyone realises she's not there. The music stops abruptly, and everyone begins asking where Antara is.

Antara was talking to herself while she is fixing her scooter...

Antara: Kya kare bappa..Muhey jhoot bolna para kyuki Jeeja Ji kay maa baap 20 lakh maang rahay hai dehaayj meh...

Antara stands up while a gush of wind hits her face...She holds her hands against her face trying to bare the wind...she slowly descends her hands revealing her face...She's goes to the nearby temple and starts talking to bappa as always...

Antara: Bappa Meh Jeeja Ji sey baat karnay ja rahiy hu...mujhey paata hai Jeeja ji apnay paarivaar jaisay nahi hai...aur wo dehayz shaadi kay din nahi maangay gay...

She rings the temple bell, and off she goes on her scooter...Antara was driving down a small and crowded lane...Everyone staring at her...She accidently hits someone...but doesn't stop driving...

Antara: Maaf ki jiyay kaka...mujhey jaldi hai..Baaki ki maafi meh baad meh aakay maangti hu...

Back at the Kaul house, Ashok was on the phone explaining that he's gotten 10 lakhs, and the remaining 10 will be given through the mortgage papers. Geeta walks up behind him as he cuts the call.

She asks if it was the in-laws. Ashok says yes, and tells Geeta that he feels he's doing something wrong. He's questioning whether it's right to send Rukhsana into that family. Geeta is shocked, and tells him that they're the girls' family...He shouldn't say anything that will ruin the relationship, Ashok and Geeta only have one dream: seeing their daughters' married.

They look at Rukhsana who was sitting alone staring at the floor; Geeta says that their dream is coming true. Bua walks up to Geeta and asks her Where Antara is. Ashok & Geeta (hereby christened Asheeta when they're together) had no idea.

Antara was still riding on the road, hurrying to her destination. People were watching her as she was riding along. She tries to take no notice; she comes to a halt when she hears the traffic cop's whistles. On her left, two guys were on a motorcycle, smirking at the fact that she's run away from her wedding.

On her right, was a family...Antara smiles and says that she's got a drama competition at school, and she got dressed as a princess from home. The little boy asks her where her prince is... Antara looks up, and see's a helicopter flying by.

In another part of Kashmir...The helicopter lands right outside a mansion (it's like a palace)...There was a lot of press present... Raghunath Naik has landed in Kashmir says one reporter into the camera...He takes off his sunglasses, and looks at the scene in front of him. One of the presses exclaims that the Naik Company does multinational and international deals...for one small deal, Raghunath Naik has come back to Kashmir? Someone else asks Raghu if it's true that he has an old relationship with Kashmir?

Hearing this, Raghu starts walking to the mansion, bypassing the press. He looks at the entrance of the mansion - it's titled "Sheesh Mahal"... and suddenly there's a flashback.

A young girl is getting married, and a boy looks at her and laughs. Suddenly the bride's face turns to one of horror, and someone is running through the mahal. The young boy cries out "Mother!"

Suddenly he's back in the present, as birds fly around, startling him. Khan the landlord was talking about a deal, and Raghu was just sitting there quietly. Malik the owner of the place was there too, and he looks at Raghu, slightly smirking...Malik was talking about money...Khan agrees with Malik's words. Raghu turns slightly to his assistant, who brings forth a silver case. On opening it, Malik becomes silent, and Raghu remains composed.

Malik begins chuckling again, and says it's more than what was agreed. Raghu pushes the case to Khan. Malik says the case was meant to come to him, maybe Naik has forgotten how to make his target?

Raghu stands up, punching the table

Raghu: Raghunath Naik never misses a target. Money isn't my shauk, it's my business."

He stands back, as Malik stands up, quite serious now. Raghu puts his sunglasses back on and walks off. Khan tells Malik that the amount doesn't even put a dent in his mortgage...which is why he is gonna sell Malik's Sheesh Mahal to Raghu.

Antara, who was still driving along gets a phone call, and it was Ruksana. Rukhsana asks if she's talked to Abhishek (her fiance), and Antara says no... On a scooter, it takes time to get there...She also tells Rukhsana not to call much because her battery's dying. Ruksana once again asks Antara if they're doing the right thing. Antara says yes, they are... because marrying a person who has no rules in his life isn't worth their time. Money isn't everything. As Antara is talking her battery dies.

Antara: Arrey Bappa...Issey bhi abhi hi marna thah...

Raghu was walking through the mahal...with Malik running behind him, trying to ask for forgiveness, and says he has strict rules. Raghu replies that rules are for fools, in the papers, money is everything. And he was taught in childhood that even if there's a zameer, he should be killed.

Raghu takes off his glasses, and turns to Malik, saying "Isn't that right, Uncle?"

Flashback.

Malik is chucking a bag in the garden, and the boy & girl are asking their uncle where they'll stay. Malik says there's no room for either of them because he's strict on his rules.

Malik recognises Raghu as Raghu Malik. Raghu says he got rid of the name Malik when he got kicked out of Sheesh Mahal. Now he's only Naik. Raghunath Naik...and he walks off leaving Malik.

There's was a voiceover announcing that the Naik Group has organised a fashion show at Sheesh Mahal. Raghu walks out with two models, introducing the show. The media begins asking him questions about his past and why he bought the building, and Raghu tells them it's none of their business why, how or when he does things.

Just then someone calls his name. It's his older Sister...who has polio...Raghu helps her down the steps, and he walks with her on the catwalk, taking off his microphone. His sister asks him what he's doing in Kashmir, and he explains there's a new technology that they wanted to use. His sister asks why he bought their childhood home, and he says this location was perfect.

His sister tries to ask him what he's really doing, but he brushes it off, and introduces her to the media -Shruti Naik.

Back in the Kaul house, Rukhsana was getting dressed. Geeta walked up to Ashok and says that Antara is still missing, and the mortgage papers are as well?! Geeta decides to look for Antara and the papers herself. Rukhsana wonders where Antara is, and if she's met Abhishek yet.

Antara lands outside Sheesh Mahal...She looks at the building for a while and rushes inside. This is where she meets someone (Adi from Geet). He starts reciting poetry, and Antara looks at him weirdly, asking him for a room number. The poet continues his shayari, but explains where she needs to go. However Antara has already run off.

The fashion show had started and Raghu was totally bored... Antara was running around the place and enters the show's dressing area. The Workers mistake Antara for a model, and push her out onto the catwalk. Antara freezes and everyone starts wondering why she isn't walking. Raghu closes his eyes, and the models lead her to the front.

Antara & Raghu stand face to face as Antara stands at the front of the catwalk. She pulls up her dupatta over herself, and begins to run off, but trips on her dupatta and falls off the stage into Raghu's arms. (Mera Mahi Tu) Raghu & Antara stare at one another. Raghu senses her fear, and holds her even more firmly.

Precap: The show has ended, and Antara tries to explain that she came there by accident...Raghu was furious as she had ruined his entire show... Raghu rips off her dupatta. Antara tells him that she needs to go back to her sister, otherwise the wedding will be cancelled...Raghu tells her to let the wedding be cancelled - one goes, and another one comes. He rips her jewellery off her. Back at the Kaul house, everyone's looking for Antara- Geeta asks Rukhsana where she is. Antara comes back and hears that Rukhsana's wedding has been called off.
