Morning sun rays came through the window and fell on a girl's face, disturbing her sound sleep. She wringed a little and tried to avoid the rays but didn't manage. The girl looked like an angel in her sleep. Her face was peaceful, eyes with long, black eyelashes and perfect pink lips. She looked heavenly and pure. The sun rays were constantly disturbing her. She finally gave up and opened her eyes. Getting off the bed, she let out a yawn and smoothed her long, black hair into a loose bun at the nape of her neck. She looked beautiful even in her sleep rumpled state. Drowsily, she headed towards the washroom.

Meanwhile, in another room, a middle-aged man and his wife were discussing something. "Jaldi se Rukhsana ko uthaiye...aap jaante hi hai ki aaj kitna bada din hai uske liye." The woman said.

"Haa mujhe pata hai...don't worry...who khud uth jaayegi..tum bekar mein tension le rahi ho..sab kuch achha hoga..trust me."

"I hope aisa hi ho." Saying so, the woman headed towards the kitchen.

The man entered a room where a girl was sleeping, surrounded by soft pillows n teddy bears. He went up to the window and lifted up the curtains, allowing sunlight to enter the room. She got disturbed by the rays. "Please let me sleep...close the curtains" She said in an annoyed voice.

"Rukku beta..utho..subah ho gayi hai..tum bhool gaye kya aaj kitna bada in hai tumhare liye..?"

"No dad..bas 5 minute aur...waise bhi aaj kya special din hai?"

The man sat beside her and caressed her hairs. "Rukhsana...tum kaise bhool sakti ho...aaj ladkewale aa rahe hai tumhe dekhne ke liye..don't u remember?"

"Yes I remember...toh kya hua..woh log toh sham ko aayenge na..now let me sleep plz." Saying so, she covered her face with the blanket.

"Uff..kya karun main iss ladki ka..uth jao rukhsana..warna mom bohot gussa ho jaayegi."

At that moment a girl entered the room. She wore a yellow colored simple salwar kameez. Her hairs were wet with little water droplets falling on her dupatta, indicating that she just had a bath. She looked beautiful.

"Kya hua mamaji? Rukhsana abhi tak nahi uthi kya?"

The man, Govind, got up and came towards her. "Arre haa...dekho na Antara..yeh ladki abhi tak soyi hui hai...she knows that today is an important day for her..phir bhi nhi uth rhi..u plz wake her up."

"Don't worry mamaji..main abhi iss sleeping beauty ko jagati hu."

Govind nodded and left the room. Antara came near Rukhsana's bed and called out to her. "Rukku baby..uthiye..aap ko taiyyar nahi hona hai kya...after all ladke wale aa rhe hai."

Rukhsana removed her blanket and said, "Antara..ab tub hi aa gayi...koi mujhe chain se sone kyu nhi de rha?? I know very well ki ladke wale aa rhe hai..and to be honest..I don't care."

"Arre...yeh kya baat hui..? why r u saying like that?

"Sach keh rhi hu yaar...mujhe koi shaadi waadi nhi karni..woh toh mom mere peechay hi par gayi thi..so maine haa kar di."

"Hawww...tujhe sach mein iss shaadi mein interest nahi hai? Tujhe pata hai jo ladka tujhe dekhne aa raha hai, who kaun hai?? He's the successful businessman Raghunath Naik...suna hai bohot handsome bhi hai.." Antara giggled.

"Yeah..whatever." Rukhsana said in a bored voice. She got up from her bed and headed towards the washroom. Before going in, she said to Antara, "Please mere liye ek cup adrak wali chai bana de..tu bohot achhi chai banati hai yaar..please!"

"Ok...ok..itna makkhan maarne ki jarurat nahi hai." Antara smiled and went out of the room.

At evening

The living room of the house was filled with chatting and laughter of many people. Govind and Saroj were talking to the family of Raghunath Naik, the prospective groom of Rukhsana. Daya Naik, Raghu's mother and Ajji, Raghu's grandmother had also come with him. Suddenly, Daya said to Saroj and Govind, "Main aap logo Raghu ke bare mein kuch batana chahti hu." Seeing her serious expression, Saroj spoke, "Ji haa...boliye."

Daya : Actually mere bte Raghu ki pehle bhi ek baar shaadi ho chuki hai.

Saroj and Govind were shocked. They were not expecting this at all.

Govind : Kya kaha aap ne??

Daya : Ji aap ne bilkul sahi suna..actually humein yeh baat aap ko pehle hi bata dena chahiye tha but chance hi nahi mila..Raghu ki pehli wife Smita ki ek car accident mein death ho gayi...unki ek beti bhi hai Sarah.. Raghu yeh shaadi mainly Sarah ko ek maa den eke liye kar raha hai..

Saroj and Govind were left speechless. Daya again spoke, "Hum jaante hai ki aap logo ke liye yeh faisla lena bohot hi mushkil hai..par aap log jitna chahe utna time le sakte hai..aap log chahe toh naa bhi keh sakte hai..that totally depends upon u."

Saroj said immediately, "Nahi nahi..humein isse koi problem nahi hai..yeh shaadi ab jarur hogi." Govind was shocked to hear this. What was Saroj saying? Had she lost her mind? How can they get Rukku married to a guy who is already married and also has a daughter? Govind was about to say something when Saroj signaled him to be quiet with her eyes. She excused herself from the guests and took Govind inside with her.

In the bedroom

Govind: Yeh tum ne kya kiya Saroj? Unn logo ko shaadi ke liye haa kar di? Kyu?

Saroj: Arrey..aap meri baat samajh nahi rahe hai..main ne haa Rukku ke liye nahi but Antara ke liye kaha hai..

G: Antara ke liye? Par who log toh Rukku ko dekhne aaye hai..

S: haa mujhe pata hai...but unn logo ko yeh nahi pata ki who Rukku ko dekhne aaye hai...unhe bas yeh pata hai ki woh hamari beti ko dekhne aa rahe hai..au Antara bhi toh hamari beti jaisi hi hai naa..

G: Par humein Antara ke saath aisa nhi karna chahiye..Raghu ke saath shaadi karne se uski life barbaad ho jaayegi...

S: Aisa kuch nhi hoga..Antara ko toh khushi hogi...ki itne rich ghar mein uski shadi ho rhi hai..aur humein bhi use chutkara mil jayega..

Govind tried to argue but as usual Saroj didn't pay any heed to his words. All this conversation was heard by Rukku who was happy that her marriage got cancelled as she wasn't interested at all in this relation. She was against the idea of making Antara marry Raghu but Saroj smartly manipulated her to support them. After that, Govind went to attend the guests while Saroj went to Antara's room to convince her for the marriage.

Antara's room

Saroj entered Antara's room and began talking to her in a melodramatic and sad voice.

S: Antara beta...aaj main tumse ek request karne aayi hu..tum mujhe mana toh nahi karoge na..

A: Haa boliye mamiji..

S: Woh beta...Rukku ne shaadi ke liye mana kar di hai..

A: What?? Sach mein mana kar di?? Don't worry..main abhi usse baat karti hu..

S: Uski koi faida nahi hai...hum ne bohot try ki use manane ke liye..but woh nhi maani...ladkewale bhi aa chuke hai...ab sirf tum hi hamari izzat bacha sakti ho Antara..

A: Main??

S: Haa...Rukku ki jagah Raghu se tum shaadi kar lo Antara...issey hamari izzat bach jaayegi..

A: Kya? Main? Yeh kaise ho sakta hai mamiji??

S: Bilkul ho sakta hai...Please maan jao beta..

A: Par mamiji..Rukku ne shaadi karne se mana kyu ki?

Saroj hesitated at first but then she told her the reason. Antara was shocked to hear that. This man, Raghu, was already married and he had a daughter too!! Then how can she marry him? This would destroy her whole life!!

A: Mamiji...main yeh shaadi kaise kar sakti hu...woh insaan shaadi shuda hai...uski ek beti bhi hai..meri life barbaad ho jaayegi mamiji..

S: Aisa kuch nahi hoga Antara...Raghu ki khaandan bohot badi hai..bohot rich log hai...uski 1^st wife ki bhi death ho chuki hai...so tumhe koi tension nahi hoga...bas tumhe uski beti ko ek maa ka pyaar dena hai..aur mujhe pata hai kit um yeh kar sakti ho..

A: But mamiji main...

S: Mujhe aur kuch nahi sunna Antara..22 saal se humne tumhe sambhaala hai...agar tum apni mama mami se pyaar karti ho aur agar tum humein khush dekhna chahti ho toh tum yeh shaadi jarur karoge.. Agar tum ne naa kaha toh tum mujhe apni shakal kabhi mat dikhana..

Saying so, Saroj left the room. Antara broke into tears. She couldn't understand why this was happening to her. She was unable to decide what to do. She also didn't want to hurt her mama n mami as they were like her parents who brought her up. Finally, leaving all matters in the hands of her destiny, she decided that she would marry Raghu.

Phew!! Here's the 1st part guys..pata nahi main ne kya likha hai...
