"Kya hua Antara? Tum mujhe uss ke baare mein kyun pochna chati ho?" Riya asked. "Bas yeh jaana chati hoon ki tum uss ke saath kar kya rahi thi?" I asked. "Aur woh hai kaun?" "Antara, main... main usse pasand karti hoon," she said hesitantly. Just as I was about to ask her more, Piya opened the door and said, "Guys chalo. Hum late ho re hain. Aunty ne hume neeche bulaya hain. Antara tu abhi tak tayaar nahi hui?" "Main bas panch minute mein aati hoon," I said and grabbed the first thing that I could find in the closet and headed to the bathroom. I closed the door behind me. I had told my self that it was nothing for Raghu's sake, but to be honest, I was scared. I sighed and got ready for dinner.
We had reached the restaurant and found our table. I sat across from Antara. Seeing Antara smile made me feel so much better. Dinner was nice. Everyone was together after a long time. But Ishaan and Payal were missing. Their flight was coming in a couple of hours. When we were leaving the restaurant, I grabbed Antara's hand before she could go. "Ghar jaa ke baat karegi na?" I whispered in her ear. "Haan haan baat karlungi. Phele ghar toh jaane do," she said and ran behind everyone. I smiled and went behind her.
We were back home now. Mom and dad were in their room and I was standing outside. It's ok Antara. Bas dad ko bata de ki tujhe Raghu se shaadi karni hain. Woh tujhse bahut pyaar karte hain, haan hi bolenge, I thought to my self and knocked on the door. "Andar aa jao," I heard my mom say. I opened the door and walked in. "Arre, Antara, aa beth na," she said. I smiled and sat down. "Mom dad, mujhe aap se baat karni hain," I said. "Haan bolo beta," dad said. "Woh dad... Mujhe shaadi karni hain," I said. "Shaddi? Par Antara... Kisse? aur tune toh kaha tha ki tujhe abhi shaadi nahi karni hain," dad said. "Dad muhje Raghu se shaadi karni hain," I said. Dad looked at me. "Raghu?" he said. "Haan dad. Raghu. Dad main aur Raghu ek doosre se bahut pyaar karte hain aur hum ek doosre se shaadi karna chate hain," I said. I looked to see his reaction. His face was blank. I looked at my mom for help. She nodded at me. "Suniye na, Raghu ek accha ladka hain. Woh humari beti se bahut pyaar karta hain," she said. "Raghu ke maa baap ne kya kaha?" he asked. "Dad woh toh iss rishte se bahut khush hain," I replied. Bappa, please Dad ko mana lo, I silently prayed. "Tu Raghu se bahut pyaar karti hain?" Dad asked. "Ji," I replied. "Tujhe uss par pura yakeen hain ki woh hamesha tujhe khush rakhega?" "Haan Dad. Raghu bahut acha hain." Dad smiled. "Toh phir theek hain, agar tum dono khush, toh hum bhi khush," he said. "Saach?" I asked. "Haan," he replied. I gave him a hug. "Thank you so much Dad, you are the best," I said. "Ab jaa, jaldi se Raghu ko bata ke aa," Dad said. I smiled and headed to Raghu's room. I opened the door and saw Arjun there. I forgot that he and Ranveer were sharing Raghu's room. "Sorry," I said and closed the door. I went to Riya's room where Raghu was staying for the next few days but he wasn't there either. That's weird. Where did he go? I walked up to the terrace to see if he was there and he was. I was about to go up to him when I heard him talking in the phone. "I told you that I wanted all of the information by tonight, then why haven't you found anything out yet?" What was he talking about? What information? "Jab kuch pata chale, tab hi mujhe phone karna." He hung up the phone and was about to turn around. Before he could see me, I ran down the stairs and went into my room. What was going on?
