There is a limit to everything. I was not going to write anything, but now I just have to. I need to vent out my frustration on this terrible track. Yes terrible, disgusting track that completely defamed the characters. And this is coming from someone that defended the Antara-Satya marriage in the beginning. I supported the writers and their vision but I just can't anymore because of what that they delivered. I know some people are saying that what occurred between Antara and Satya is not marriage, but yes it is. I'm Muslim but I still know that saath peeres do have a lot of importance in Hindu culture. What they did is just make a mockery out of it. If Antara is publicly announcing that Satya is my husband, then why on Earth is there even a debate. I cannot justify her actions at all. She claimed that she was "ajj ki zamane ki majboor larki" who can take care of herself and her family, but her actions speak different. She proved to be another rash, stupid heroine. What angers me the most is that by marrying that psycho she not only disrespected her love, but more importantly disrespected herself. She knows that Satya is not worthy of her or anyone else yet she still let all of this transpire. She didn't even take a day to think things through and plan out her next move, which people in real life do. And Raghu--I can't justify him either. He was molded as a very strong character initially, but has gradually become so weak. Telling her the truth before the wedding would have been more true to his character. He should have followed his heart and instincts. He should have had more faith in their love. I was surprised that he became Devdas so quickly and didn't even go and look for her. Antara and Raghu are both equally at fault. And Satya"well what can I say about him. Quite impressed actually, he did get what he wanted. I don't see his fault here...he didn't win, Rantara's love failed.
I don't mean to hurt anyone's sentiments, but this is just my take on this track. Sorry in advance if anyone doesn't like what I said.
