Hey guys! this is the first part!!!!! enjoy!
The Naik house was lit from top to bottom. The whole basti decorated as if it was diwali. Fairy lights covered each building and rose petals flooded the streets leading up to the haveli. Fire crackers were being set off from all directions and loud music was could be heard by all the surrounding bastis. It was a very festive sight. But no this was no happy occasion for the pure souls who dwell here because tonight was the night where evil was triumphing on good.
Trapped in a room on the far corner of the Haveli was Antara decked in a heavy and beautiful bridal lehenga. She sat on the bed with tears flowing from her eyes. The room was locked from the outside and the windows had been boarded up. She closed her eyes and thought of the crazy events of the past two weeks. After Noor Apa's wedding everything went downhill. Satya had arrived in Mumabi and turned her world upside down. With Aji gone and Raghu beings Daya Mai's obedient servant no one was around to protect her. Raghu and Mach mach were usually sent far away from the Basti daily leaving Antara alone under Satya's disgusting gaze. He would watch her from his front gate, walking around the streets, going to Arshad miya's shop, taking Ishaan to school. Satya had fallen in love with Antara in this short time. Well HIS idea of love. When he spilled his request to Daya Mai she decided it would be the perfect way to get revenge on Raghu and Antara for their disobedience. The wedding was announced to everyone without even asking Antara. Daya Mai had arranged for Antara's family to be sent to Kashmir on a short vacation leaving Antara here to do light chores around the house to continue her employment. They had no idea what was going on. With no one protecting Antara the marriage and arrangements were done in a blink of an eye. She was dragged to the haveli against her will and threatened that her family would not make it back home she didn't marry Satya.
Antara snapped out of her thoughts and looked down at her mehendi. She had accidently cut when Daya Mai was forcing her to wear her bridal bangles. The bleeding had stopped but the cut was deep. There was no sign of the S anymore but her wound developed into a scar. The scar formed the shape of a distorted R. Her own body was telling her something she still couldn't understand. She was happy her family was not around to see what was happening. She took comfort in the fact that they would be in Kashmir for another week leaving her time to figure out an explanation. There was only one thing plaguing Antara's mind. Raghu!
She hoped for every minute she was trapped that he would come and save her. She wasn't even sure if he knew what was happening. She knew how cunning Daya Mai was. Oh god what if she has done something to him? What if he is hurt or trapped somewhere just like me?' she thought. Antara stopped and realised what she was thinking. Here she was about to have her life completely ruined and all she could think about was Raghu. Haan toh jya hua? Dost hai mera.. Raghu kaha ho tum?! Muhje aaj tumari sab se zyada zaroorat hai'.
Antara feared he may not come, or worse he would come but allow everything to happen. After all Daya Mai was his bhagwan.
Antara continued to cry heavily as she glanced at the clock. It was almost time for her to go downstairs. She felt herself go numb as her face was completely wet from her tears. She felt like her life was slipping out of her when suddenly she heard a noise by the window. Someone was removing the nails on the boards that barricaded her. Her heart knew who was on the other side!
