Yes. That's a quote by Henrik Ibsen. Here, forest bird = Raghu. I truly feel that he is one person (a/c to the character) who lives his life without succumbing to any principles or rules. He indeed is like a forest bird. He does whatever he wants to and nothing can stop him from that. And he actually does not require a special situation or place to do something that he wants to do, which relates to the latter half of the quote, "never wants a cage". If he really gets close to Antara in the jungle willingly/unwillingly, it'd be because he would want to do that at that very moment, and he can really do it whenever he feels like. For him there is nothing called "restriction" or "circumstance" .
