"Antara fails to understand this. And to be honest, being in her situation it would be really abnormal to see her being very tolerant towards gundagardi and violence. even when intentions are good. So i guess that is really logical for the character to be that way. As we do not want another Tulsi or Parvati who are never wrong what so ever. Her character is very real in that sense, and that is why i like her. "

exactly my sentiments :)

Just cause Raghu is a grey character in a more highlighted form , we tend to sympathize with him more . Antara's grey shades are under rated toh we conveniently put her in secondary position to him and even get annoyed with her at the benefit of him. In fact if we were in Antu's position and we met a Raghu , we would do the same thing as well. I love both , though. But think about it.The guy till date oozes out his sorrows through his mouth organ or cries within showers so his tears aren't visible. Think about Antara , did she even have the freakin time in her life to even break down properly? No she didn't. It is one thing to lose your father. That happens , and yes its tough but not unresolvable. But here it was another thing altogether to see not your father die naturally or by some illness but by being BURNT ALIVE. RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. I dont think we can even think of how we would react if we were in her shoes. On top of that , she has a mother who has become a vegetable and she has absolutely no one to hold her up , she needs to hold up everything by her own.She does not even have the permission to break down. Shes probably the strongest female lead I have seen in a long long long time! We are thinking that her tit bits such as having a personal ego battle with Raghu annoys us but look at Raghu. His ego before he softened for the first 20 episodes was his everything! Why the hell did he create a new drama everyday? To the extent that he was insensitive enough to call Geeta nautanki , and no don't tell me oh he didn't know about her health so it is justified. Just cause a girl said the truth about him and was not afraid to stand up for whats right , all of his actions are not seen as ego satisfying and shallow? Cummon mahn. Raghu mein Antu se bhi zyaada bachpaana hai. Antu doesn't care if she belongs anywhere cause she has her family to take care of and only that is her world but Raghu? He tries and tries and tries through his every action to just once feel like he belongs somewhere and it is so sad to see it. You feel like giving the boy a hug. And no I would not take help from the guy responsible for humiliating my brother in the basti and my family , and I don't think anyone with self respect would. If I would lose my brother , I would do everything to find him but would never take help from someone who is actually pretty much responsible for it in the first place. Moreover , that taxi thing from Antu's side was bachpana and I think its pardonable . Anth bhaala toh sab bhala. I love both with their flaws and love them even more when they are together so I have no complaints. I love both characters equally and individually <3

Woaah!! Well said. U r right, we always overlook the Raghu of first 20 episodes, even though that was, or rather is also an aspect of his personality. He is a very good person at heart, and so is Antara and they have their own set of flaws, but as u said, we love them individually as well as together!

First of all, I admit, I had issues with Antra's character sketch... at times, she was given those most adarsh and aaj ki majboot naari type dialogues 🤢... but then one thing I always appreciated about her character is that she was not shown as a fake puppet, who would force a 1000 MW fake grin every now and then to show that she is the most strongest and happiest person on earth to hide her pain... she has always maintained the calmness in her face and voice (although I believe she has a dubbing prob ) ... anyway, of course, the writer has screwed up with her dialogues but one thing that they kept intact was her calm and composed attitude... from day 1 with Raghu, she was never loud, which I very much liked... and another thing I loved about her character is that she never made over-exaggerated face with Raghu... however, if I was in her shoes, I would mostly ignore him since I consider him as a goonda because this is what I feel that others would do too... that's why I had issues with her... but now I won't step back from admitting that the writers are shaping up her character very well since Monday's episode, especially in terms of her dialogues 😃... so, overall now I have no complaints abt any character... 😊
