Part 1 –

It was beautiful calm, windy and bit sunny morning with the beautiful climate of Kashmir and beauty of the snow filled mountains that were directly visible from a lovely window of Antara's room in her house in Kashmir.

Golden rays of sunlight were falling on Antara's beautiful face making her face glow more and disturbing her beauty. He woke up but before opening her eyes her lips parted and smile made a way on her face. She then got up and sat on her bed adjusting her clumsy hair and making it look good.

She then got up from her king sized bed wore her sliky slippers and moved to the window of her room and started enjoying the beautiful sun rays and watching the snow filled mountains.

Khushiyon ke kanche jebon mein hai bharein

Phir kyun hum goli ki ghoonj se darein

O jee ley saathiya..

Ho uski chadar mein chalo ab dhundhein
Roshan ho hamari ummidon ki bundey
Hasratey ye saari hatheli mein chunley
Chalo jhil mein ke gaaye jee mein
Zara mushkuraye jee ley
Chuney apani raahein jee ley
Haa jee ley..jee ley

Antara was mesmerizing the beauty of Kashmir and she got so involved that she didn't even noticed when Dr. Kaul came in her room.

Dr. Kaul (clearing his throat) – Antara, my child, where are you lost?

Antara (coming out of her trance) – Oh Papa!! When did you came? I didn't noticed you.

Dr. Kaul – How will you notice. You were so busy in the thought of someone…

Antara (giving a puzzled look) – Someone!!!???

Dr. Kaul (teasing her) – Yeah someone…someone special…

Antara (blushing and feeling shy) – Papa!! Stop it don't start again…

Dr. Kaul – Ok..ok my darling I wont start but atleast tell who is he?

Antara (now acting a bit angry) – Papa…

Dr. Kaul – Ok sorry…take this but and have it…

Saying this he handed her a mug of coffee.

Antara – Oh here comes Dr. Kaul's special coffee..

Saying this she sipped the coffee and just got mesmerized with the taste.

Antara – Papa you make too good coffee…There is not a single morning in my life which has started without your coffee and there will not be..

Dr. Kaul – Hmm…no that cannot happen….you will have to start your mornings without my coffee after few days.

Antara (again giving puzzled look) – But why?

Dr. Kaul – As after few days my daughter will find her dream man and then she will marry him and later she will leave her papa and go away.

Antara – Papa why do you start this topic again. See now I wont talk to you.

Saying this she turned her face aside and wrapped her hands around her chest.

Dr. Kaul – Achcha Beta I am sorry…

Saying this Dr. Kaul held his ears.

Antara too got convinced and smiled at him and both then entered into a bear hug.

Dr. Kaul – Antara beta always remember one thing you are my life and if anything happens to my life then I wont be able to live.

Antara hearing this left the hug and got emotional.

Dr. Kaul – Always stay happy that's all I want.

Antara – Papa you are the best papa in this world.

Dr. Kaul – Ok ok stop this all emotional drama I need to go to clinic now so I am leaving.

Antara – Ok papa…after sometime I will also leave for my singing classes.

With this Dr. Kaul left Antara's room. Antara then took her diary and pen in her hand and sat on the bar of the window. She started writing a poem while looking at the beautiful mountains of Kashmir

Yun milkar aisa ek aashiya banaye

Ye dekho jajbe ki dor se bandhi
Patang hamari..
Befikra fizza mein hai ud rahi
Shaq ki baadal hatenge
Hoga savera tu aaja
Aane wale kal se milegey hum
Sar uthaye aaja
Kismat ke ghol pey
Kaayam hoke tu dekh

Chalo jhil mein ke gaaye jee mein
Zara mushkuraye jee ley
Chuney apani raahein jee ley
Haa jee ley..jee ley

Antara always loves spending time alone like this looking at the beauty of Kashmir and writing and singing too. She feels blessed that she is born in such a beautiful place like Kashmir and moreover to such a loving father like Dr. Kaul.
