Riddhima Tiwari who was seen as the vamp Sandhya in Love Marriage Ya Arrange Marriage is set to enter Do Dil Ek Jaan next week. She will be playing Rasika, Manohar's (Darpan Srivastav) wife, who falls in love with the lead character Raghu (Ayaz Khan). Says Riddhima,"I play a downmarket yet desirable woman who is smitten by Raghu. Since it's a Maharashtrian family, I will be speaking some Marathi and will use English words in a funny tone." Riddhima is best remembered for her role as the abused wife in Ristho Se Badi Pratha. She also played Suhana's (Ragini Khanna) bhabhi in the hit serial Sasural Genda Phool. But it was in Love Marriage... that her character had grey shades with comic elements. Now, her role in Jaan seems to be on the same lines. Says Riddhima, "I enjoy playing a negative character more as it has a wider scope for performance." About her last serial not doing well, Riddhima says though the concept was interesting "somewhere down the line it lost its sheen". However, she says that she had a great role and her comic-timing was noticed! CU
