whose Idea is it??

From the look of it...R has actually no intention of arranging a date with karan...looks like he just wants to meet her for dinner and talk..maybe wants to explain her his talk with karan...

I don't think its shivani's fault either... the man she loves is suddenly calling u up after a confrontration n near death exoerience n tells her that he wants to start their relation afresh n asks her to come n meet him outside their house for dinner ... any girl would think that he is inviting u to dinner... n being innocent n impulsive as she is she just blurts out what she understood from his words...

If any raghu understood that shivani has musunderstoid him... so what should he do? Correct it n don't give it a chance to escalate ...especially he has seen her thinking of his actions as love... but no! He doesn't correct tje misunderstanding ...

N i think the whole idea is raghu's only... given his limited vocabulary in englush as with bela , what shivani did was just explain to him the meaning of date... which she thought is what he meant by calling her outside for dinner... she just asked him what she understoid from his words n it was ibvious that raghu didn't know what it meant... but even after realising what she meant he went ahead with it...
Bec i think the dinner was planned beforehand... i don't thibk raghu will callshivani up without the consent of karan... the scene between karan n raghu wasn't shown concluded...raghu was shown waiting for karan's answer... so we don't know what exactly karan told him...the idea could b karan's too... or is raghu goung on dictating each n everyine arond hum what to do or what not to?

I'm not talking about whose fault it is...I'm just talking about how this idea of date with karan generated... I see both of them as equally as human beings...who has fair chances of making mistakes...

so only I said...it's not "totally" his fault...which means Raghu's partial fault is there...if he invited karan...taking the idea of date from shivani's talk...

If R is wrong not correcting her...shivani is also wrong not understanding him...she cannot come to conclusions on his feelings as usual...

He was playing with his words with her... what us shivani supposed to understand if the person whom she lives is telling her hat they would begin their lives afresh n that too inviting her for dinner...its hope that made her understand what she understood...but raghu realised that she musunderstood...he could have corrected her...he didn't...

Yess the whole date thing was Shivani's fantasy ... Raghu might hv planned a dinner for Karan and Shivani so that both can meet and come close ... but Shivani immediately fantacised it as date between GF and BF which further gave the idea to Raghu to make it more grand in Shivani's style ...

Somewhere I want to see things from Raghu's POV too just how we often see things from Shivani's POV .. and if I see it from Raghu's POV , then I feel this is where he wants to push Shivani away because her world is indeed different from Raghu's world ... in Raghu's world it would hv been a simple dinner between two but in Shivani's world its a dinner date between two lovers ... there is a world of difference between hving a simple dinner and hving a romantic dinner date ... reality vs fairytale .. no wonder Raghu says our worlds r different .. and I m saying this strictly from his POV .. we need to understand him too .. he too is a human after all ...


Coming to Shivani's POV , yes she is in love and she is not calculating the whole reality vs fairytale world like Raghu does ... so she was naive to tell him about date without realising what Raghu will assume from it

Yes I guess when Raghu called up Shivani , he just invited her for a simple dinner but the moment Shivani told him about date and how its done between two lovers , he instantly realised her idea of a romantic dinner and accordingly started arranging which was shown later when that Sumi called him up ... so again like I said its proved that their worlds r indeed different ...

I dunno how Karan gonna fit in the whole scheme of things but I believe it takes two hands to clap ... if we expect Raghu to come out of his prejudiced world and accept Shivani's love then Shivani too need to come out of her fairytale world and accept Raghu's world of simplicity ..

When raghu called shivani , he might have plaanned for a simple dinner between her and karan. Thats because he suggested an expensive restaurant which would be more shivani -karan style rather than his own. I dont think he feels at home at expensive restaurants. Shivani's quick assumption that its a date , probably made him realise that wat was her idea of going out. So he made it moregrander and fairy tale like. Its because he knows she likes all these things and that reinforces that she cannot be happy with him. A lower middle class man whose world is a struggle to earn and provide for his family cannot afford to take his wife on a fairy tale date. Having pani puris at a road side stall would probably be his idea of enjoying with his partner.
