I think something is wrong with the Precap. I think somehow Baburam got to know that Rana is coming to fetch Shivani and if he himself comes here to take Shivani away with him then Baburam can't stop him. So he told Raghu that Rana's goons are coming and told him to flee away with Shivani so that Rana won't find Shivani and Baburam won't have loose his golden goose. Just my thought...
