Chapter 7----- Daaju learns about shivani and raghu's relationship.
Shivani and Raghu were stunned when they heard daaju's voice. raghu moved away from her as fast as he could. he felt completely embarassed. what had he done? he'd just confessed his love to shivani. and she had confessed hers for him.
" I said what's going on here?" Daaju sounded angry.
"Daaju..."Shivani tried to say but dajju cut her of.
"Shivani get into the house. I want to speak to Raghu alone." Daaju's face was very stern. Shivani sensed that this could be bad for her beloved. In that instant, she was suddenly bold and very brave.
"Daaju, whatever you have to say to Raghu, you can say it in front of me. I'm sorry but i'm not going anywhere."
Daaju was shocked. this was the first time that shivani had ever disobeyed him. he looked at her and then at Raghu. What was going on betwen them? he had walked outside and had seen and heard their confessions of love. they were about to kiss when he had interupted them. and now shivani was disobeying his order?
"Shivani." Daaju tried.
"No daaju. i've sent my entire life listening to you. i can tell from the look on your face that you are going to kill raghu."
She had been right about that. Daaju was going to murder raghu. he was thinking it right now.
"Malik saa, let me explain." Raghu tried to talk to daaju. he was wondering just how much daaju had seen and heard.
Daaju turned to face Raghu. He was plainly very upset. It broke raghu's heart to see his master this upset. He had dedicated his entire life to serving daaju. how could he even think about having a relationship wit shivani? daaju had simply sent him outside to pursuade shivani to get married to abhi. instead he ended up confessing his love!
"Raghu, do you want to tell me what the bloddy hell is going on? and why is shivani disobeying me?!"
"Daaju, i'm not disobeying you. You are my world. I can never think to disobey you. Let me explain." Shivani had spoken before raghu could have said anything.
"Shivani. I said to go inside. I want to speak to Raghu. I want to know what's going here."
Raghu looked at shivani. His eyes were pleading with her to listen to her grandfather. He knew that they were in huge trouble. Their love was tabu. Bothcame from different walks in life. They were unequal in every way.
" Shivani please do as malik saa says. I will talk to him." Raghu said.
Shivani paused. he thought she was going to leave him to face raghu's wrath all by himself? She really had to prove her love for this man. He was her heart and soul. She would face death if she had to. She would never leave him to deal with anything alone. If daaju had seen and heard them then she should be right here standing with the love of her life.
"Raghu..." she saw the look on daaju's face and stopped.
"Shivani, please tell me what's going on." daaju seemed to have changed his mindbaout her leaving. His tone had soften.
She took a deep breath. this was going to be hard."daaju. daaju..." she was at a loss for words. how was she supposed to tell her grandfather that she was in love with raghu and wanted to spend the rest of her life with him and not abhi?
raghu saw her fighting for the words and he walked up to her. He gently placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. His touch seemed to have given her a confidence boost. she looked at his handsome face and smiled. her smiled went all the way to her eyes. daaju had never seen her smile like this. it warmed him to know that shivani was finally growing up. he tried to keep a stern look on his face. he was going to let them get of the hook so easily.
"Raghu! why are you touching shivani like that?" Daaju hoped his voice was sounding stern.
raghu immediately dropped his hand. Shivani look up at him and nodded."Daaju, before you say anything to raghu, please listen to me. Daaju. I love him." there she had said it. she held her breath and felt raghu get tensed by her side. she reached out and held his hand. her eyes telling him that everything would be alright.
Daaju had gone completely silent. he didn't say a word. he turned a walked to the bench. he sat down warily.Shivani was about to say something but he held up his hand to silence her...
