Thank you very much for explaining to me, Umdu. You are always so kind to take time and answer queries! 😊

I also think that there are advantages and disadvantages with joint families, as well with nuclear ones. I can "feel" it now! My family and my sisters live in my country of origin and I live in another country for the last 11 years. I do visit them once a year for a short period of time, but that is not always enough. When I had a hard time, my mother was really upset that I have nobody from my own family here to support me and I did miss, sometimes, to just poor my heart to her or my sisters, but, them, not being physically close it was a hindrance. By the time, we would talk on the phone, the "feeling/urge to tell" was not the same, or they just got even more worried/guilty for not being able to help me as they thought they could do if they were physically near me.

So, physical distance on long term, for me, is hard to take, sometimes, and I think it has repercussions over relationships: rather making them weaker than stronger.

@ Alexxa I feel so happy DABH has an international audience who are not of Indian origin. So nice to know you are also interested in my favorite serial. This is the first Hindi serial I watched and got hooked. Deaddiction does not seem to work on me.

Same here, Umdu! Deaddiction, doesn't work!😊

DABH is my first and only Indian serial as well! It has some kind of "power" over me!

The show is very popular in my country, though I can sense from other fans there, that they watch it from the perspective of our cultural background which makes frustration with the show even worse! Thus, I think, many miss a lot from DABH's real substance, meaning. That is why I am so "hooked" here! The meanings shared here, makes DABH much more insightful for me! Thanks to you all!
