From the recent mahaepisode (episode 350, Saturday 15 December 2012), it appears that our sneaky little master manipulator, Mr Mohit Rathi, might have a secret girlfriend!
(At least, that is what it suggested to me!)
The way he was flirting and speaking to whoever-that-was on the phone late at night when Sooraj and Sandhya returned from Ajmer... [along the lines of] "Chatting karne ka mann nahi lagraha hain? Meri aawaaz sunni thi?" ("Don't feel like chatting? Did you want/need to hear my voice?") Sounds like someone special, doesn't it? š
Well, I was wondering when someone would appear opposite Mohit - after all, he is the only Rathi sibling who hasn't been shown with a partner at all until now. If this is the case then I wonder if a girl will be making an entry any time soon, who she is going to be (maybe someone he studied with before, or who he works with at the bank now?), and how Bhabo is going to react once she finds out! š²
We all know Bhabo is not a fan of love-marriages (as we have seen with her initial disapproval of Dilip's marriage proposal for Chavi, because she thought they were in love, and how angry she got before Sooraj managed to calm her down and she agreed to it), so it will be interesting to see if and how this potential storyline pans out.
I wonder if Sandhya might find out about this somehow and then Mohit might want her to help keep secrets? You never know what will happen with Mohit's (and Chavi's) attitude towards Sandhya - we have seen them both be chummy with Sandhya when it suited them an then turn on her when it suited them to do that! š” I really hope Sandhya doesn't get stuck in the middle of anything sticky here - we all know she has enough to deal with!
Everything in DABH happens for a reason, so if they simply wanted to show us that Sooraj and Sandhya will have to hide from people in their house at night when returning from night college then they could have just had Mohit sit where he was with his computer without saying anything, BUT, the CVs chose to have a flirty Mohit phonecall, so something has got to come out of this! š
I'm going to ROFL so much if there is a girlfriend and she turns out to be Meena's sister Sudha! š š¤£
It has been mentioned before that there were talks on for Sudha's marriage already, so no idea if the CVs would go down this road, but it would be HILARIOUS if it did! Can you imagine, Meena and Sudha in the same house! We know Meena is always trying to set up Sudha with rich people (e.g. Dilip) or people she thinks are rich (e.g. Rajkumar), so she would not be happy in terms of money if her sister ended up in the same house as her! And if this did happen then what would happen to poor Sandhya if both devranis teamed up on her! But you never know, Sudha and Meena could turn on each other, too... And can you imagine Chavi's reaction if this happened? That would be worth seeing, since she and Sudha hate each other with a passion!!! Oh the possibilities! Like I said, no idea if the CVs would ever go down the Mohit-Sudha road, but it would certainly be interesting if it did!!!
PS. Regardless of whether Mohit has a girlfriend or not, and whether he ends up with Sudha or not, can you IMAGINE what kind of jethani Meena is going to be when Mohit does actually get married? She is already such a nightmare devrani to Sandhya, and we have seen her dream about being a dominating mother-in-law in future and ruling over her daughters-in-law with an iron fist, so it will certainly be interesting to see what kind of jethani she will be! (particularly if her devrani really does turn out to be her own sister!) š
