Very nice and apt post Ayeshi beta. Good communication is the foundation of a strong marriage. Communication is like a free flowing river and if that is stopped with the construction of a dam than everything around it will suffer and die a slow death. I fully agree with you that Sandhya does not want to be the one to create a rift in the Rathi family , so she has decided to remain quiet as there should be no bitterness coming between the mother and son. Fine that is truly in sync with her normal behaviour of keeping everybody else's interest above hers. Normally when we are faced with this kind of dilemma what do we do? We can talk to an impartial person who can give us sane advice. Who can that person be here? Not her friend as she has never supported Sandhya's stand of continuing the marriage , so she will definitely suggest something drastic and Sandhya will not agree. Who next ? Ankur . Ankur is anyway proeducation and pro IPS so will not be able to give her unbiased advice. So who if left Ankita Bhabi ? She loves Sandhya a lot and is like a mother to her. Sandy can go and have a heart to heart talk with her and she can give her sensible advice. She can advice Sandhya to talk to Suraj as she older and much more mature than Sandhya who is only 19. When you talk to somebody close they can push you to do something which without that motivation you may hesitate to do.No person can live in isolation. We all do that when we are depressed either we talk to our parents or a friend if husband is not an option and is the affected party, to clear our perspective on things. As I said earlier when a dam is constructed the newly planted seeds do not grow and the old ones die as the river has been stopped. Sandhya believes she is saving her marriage but on the contrary lack of communication can often lead to multiple cracks in a marriage.
