They left for the police station back from Rathi House. The drive was silent, Sandhya looked on worried for Sooraj she didnt know how but she was determined to set everything right for him and the family. She was disgusted at the fact that Meenakshi and Vikram were doing this to Bhabo and Bhabasa. She was clinching her fists in anger just thinking about it. Sooraj noticed this and he wondered what was wrong with her. "Sandhya ji are you okay?" Sooraj enquired. Sandhya came out of her anger and looked at him. "Sooraj ji I am fine, are you okay? Sooraj ji you dont worry I know exactly what to do, I will get justice for Bhabo and Bhabasa and I will make sure they are punished for their deeds!" Sandhya gripped onto his hand to re assure him and smiled a little. Sooraj cupped her cheek. "I know that you will do the right thing for our family, Sandhya I dont know what I would do without you!" Diya aur Baati Hum played. They shared a teary eye lock. "Sooraj ji dont worry I will always be by your side, we are doing this together I dont know what I would do without you I would never have been able to pursue my studies if you didnt stand by me!" they both smiled again and then reached the police station.

They went inside to file a complaint against Meenakshi and Vikram. "Inspector we have come to file a complaint on Vikram and Meenakshi Rathi!" Sandhya spoke very clearly. "Okay please have a sit down and illustrate what has happened!" Sandhya and Sooraj both clearly explained their doubts against them and all the evidence that proves their points. The inspector wrote down all of the key points and could clearly see there was a problem "Balram please take out the jeep!" Sandhya looked at him confused. "Inspector we dont want this to happen yet I want you to keep close checks on them first gather evidence and then punish them! We dont know the full picture yet and they can take advantage of the situation!" The Inspector was impressed with Sandhya's knowledge. "You are right Mrs Rathi!" Sooraj smiled at her with pride shown in his eyes. "Mrs Rathi we will do close checks on the Rathi House and also I think it would be a good idea to look at accounts of the Rathi family to see whether this is to do with money because from what you have told me it seems there is a demand for property and money in it somewhere!" Sandhya agreed. "Inspector I feel there may be something to do with property or some form of bribery done by Meena and Vikram!" the inspector nodded. "Mr and Mrs Rathi we will keep you updated with our findings dont worry we will get to the bottom of this task for sure!" the inspector shook hands with them both.

Sooraj felt a bit relieved but Sandhya was trying to think how Meena would try and get her hands on the property off Bhabo. "Sooraj ji I dont understand how Bhabo has become like this... something is wrong Bhabo was never this soft she always stood up for herself something has happend after we left that has changed Bhabo completly!" Sandhya was in deep thought. "Sandhya ji I think the same but let's wait and see, we have to keep in touch the Inspector he will definatly give us some answers... dont you need to go to university?!" Sooraj looked at her and then he looked at his watch. "Yeah I have only one lecture today so I should get going!" Sooraj was dropped off at the shop and then Sandhya went in the rickshaw to university.

She reached university troubled. She saw her friend which she has made very recently. "Sandhya what's wrong why are you so sad?" said Preeti. Preeti was a new friend which she made at university she helped Sandhya a lot to settle back in and also support her as a friend. "It's nothing... I'm fine!" Sandhya smiled a little. She continued with her lectures. She was writing as the lecturer spoke but her concentration wasn't fully there. Throughout the day she continued classes and tried to engage herself with the lessons but she couldn't stop thinking about Bhabo and the family. "Class you have a topic assessment tomorrow so please note it down and prepare for it!" this woke Sandhya up and she wondered how she will manage the work and the police problems at the same time. "Oh god give me strength!" Sandhya closed her eyes for a few seconds to compose herself. Classes finished and she was meant to go to the shop to help Sooraj. "I need to go but I need to find out more about the case from the police!" she was in two minds where to go. She caught a rickshaw and asked him to go to the police station.

She reached the police station and the inspector was surprised that she was here again. "Sandhya why are you here again?!" asked the inspector. "Inspector saab actually I am still very worried about the situation and I dont want it to be obvious... I want to have an inside look into the accounts of the Meenakshi and Vikram Rathi today!" Sandhya asked the Inspector. "Mrs Rathi I can understand your concern but it won't be able to happen today... I am going to appoint an officer to stay near your house in Hanuman Gali so he can look into how the situation is when you and your husband are not present and also... we will contact the bank to see what we can do for you in the next few days... we will keep you updated for sure!" Sandhya left the police station a little relieved that they are moving forward she just hoped that Meenakshi would be caught for her deeds.

She went home and prepared the food. Sooraj came back home after a long day. "Sooraj ji you sit down! I will bring the food for you!" Sooraj freshened up and sat down on the rug to eat his dinner. "Sandhya ji what have you made today? I'm really hungry!" Sandhya smiled. "Actually, I have made Idli Sambhar today... I learnt this new recipe from my friend at University... I hope you like it!" she smiled and served Sooraj. She went to get another plate when Sooraj held her hand. "Sandhya ji I was thinking that we should eat together today!" Sandhya was confused. "Sooraj ji we are eating together... you continue while I take mine!" she smiled and continued to get the plate. He stopped her again and pulled her closer to him. "Sooraj ji what are you doing?!" she shouted in rage. Sooraj let go of her hand because she shouted. He moved over and pulled a sad look. He was upset. Sandhya looked at him and felt guilty. "Sooraj ji I'm sorry for shouting its just!" Sandhya tried to apologise. But he didnt look or reply to her. She put the food down and sat near him. "I'm sorry! What were you trying to say?!" Sandhya tried to continue the conversation. But Sooraj became stubborn. Sandhya cupped his cheek. "I'm sorry!" she grabbed her ear lobes. He looked at her from the corner of his eye. He stood up and went to the balcony. "Sooraj ji dont you want to eat?!" Sandhya followed him. "No I dont want to eat anymore... im not in the mood!" Sooraj went back inside but before he could enter Sandhya blocked his way. She put her arms over the door and stood in front of it. She smiled at him and he just looked at her. "Sandhya ji please let me in! I am not in the mood!" Sooraj tried to barge in but she was not ready to let him in. "Sooraj ji tell me what you wanted?!" they stood there for 5 minutes annoyed and Sandhya repeating herself. Sooraj blurted out "All I wanted to do was share our food in one plate but you dont want too so it is fine!" Sooraj barged through and grabbed his plate of food. He sat down angrily and ate vigorously. Sandhya giggled. "I thought you weren't hungry!" She couldn't stop laughing and then he looked at her. Sandhya sat down and watched him eat. She pulled the plate out of his hands. She started eating the Idli Sambhar like a little girl. "Yummy!" she said. He watched her and he couldn't stop laughing at her face. Sandhya was shocked that he responded. He looked at her and they shared a cute eye lock. They both laughed energetically.

Sandhya decided to feed him. She took some Idli and Sambhar in a spoon. She put it towards Sooraj's lips. As he opened his mouth she moved it away and had it herself. Then she fed him. "Yummy!" Sooraj said. "It's really nice!" he fed her too and they enjoyed a lovely meal.

Precap: The inspector on duty took pictures of the happenings in Rathi House and sent it to the Police Commissioner to examine. The Commissioner rang Sandhya "Mrs Rathi we have our first piece of evidence!" Sandhya smiled in happiness. She put the phone down and thought of her next move. "Meenakshi... you think you are clever to harm Bhabo but you watch what I do to you!"
