They continued eating joyfully. Sandhya was eating away and Sooraj was just watching her. He moved closer to her and put his arm around her neck and kissed her forehead. Sandhya smiled. "What was that for?" Sandhya didnt mind but she wondered why he randomly hugged her. "Sandhya ji thanks for everything you have done for me and this family, today I was completly heartbroken but you held my hand and bought confidence back into me... Sandhya ji you know when I saw Bhabo today I could see she was hurt... there was that sparkle missing in her eyes which she had when we were all together! Sandhya ji my heart says that Bhabo loves both of us dearly still but something is stopping her!" Sooraj let his arm of Sandhya and he sat there upset and feeling hurt. Sandhya looked at him upset. She gripped hold of his hands and looked into his eyes. "Sooraj ji we are in this together... I agree that Bhabo is in some tension but we need to make her feel that we are with her every step of the way! I promise you Sooraj ji that we will get justice and we will punish Meena and Vikram for their deeds!" Sandhya cupped his cheek and smiled at him. "Now Sooraj ji you know I really want you to do something for me!" Sandhya looked up and around with a cheeky smile. Giggling to herself. "What Sandhya ji?!" she tried to keep smiling and he was just watching her hopelessly. "Sooraj ji I want you to be like the sun!" she dropped a hint. Sooraj looked a bit confused. "What do you mean?" Sooraj wondered. Sandhya shook her head. "Sooraj ji you're too cute... I want you to be like the sun and shine bright!" Sandhya kept smiling to him. Sooraj looked at her still sad. "Smile Sooraj ji! Smile!" he looked at her and gave her a weird look. She moved his cheeks upwards and formed a smile. "That more like my Sooraj ji!" he formed a more confident smile. Sandhya laid her head on Sooraj's chest and wrapped her arms around his waist. "Sooraj ji dont worry! We will do this together always!" Sooraj formed a tighter hug wrapping his arm around her body protecting her. He gently kissed the top of her hair.

Just then the doorbell rang. Sandhya went to get it and stood up but Sooraj grabbed hold of her pallu and gently pulled her back. "Sooraj ji let me get the door!" she blushed and looked behind. He stood up and wrapped his arms around her waist. He moved her hairs behind her ear and smiled at her. His breath was tickling her ear. "Sooraj ji let me go please!" the door bell rang again. "Sooraj ji!" he hugged her tightly and then let her go. Sandhya went to open the door to find Chotu at the door. "Chotu you're here! How was tuition and also dinner is ready eat first then you can study!" Chotu walked in and he hugged Sandhya. "Bhabisa do you know I came first in my maths test at school I scored 93%! Are you proud of me?!" Chotu smiled cutely at her. Sandhya looked ecstatic. "Wow! Chotu! Well Done and Congrats! I am very proud of you!" she hugged him again. "Chotu you have to have something sweet!" she went to the kitchen to go and get something sweet for the three of them to indulge on Chotu's success. "Sooraj bhaiya I am a topper in Maths!" he hugged Sooraj who he respected so much. Sooraj hugged him tightly. He scruffled his hair and knelt down to his height. "Chotu Well Done! I am very proud of you! Keep working hard my son I know you will go far!" Sandhya watched them proudly and pictured Sooraj with his own children. Tears dropped out of her eyes and so of Chotu's as he received so much love from Sooraj. She wiped her tears and said "Chalo Mr. Chotu let's celebrate!" Sandhya fed Chotu a bit of ladoo. Then he fed her some. Sooraj stole one whole ladoo from the plate sneakily and tapped Chotu's shoulder. He turned around and Sooraj shoved the whole one in his mouth. Chotu's mouth looked like a ball and Sooraj couldn't stop laughing. Chotu chased after Sooraj "Sooraj bhaiya I won't leave you today!" Sandhya was laughing away. "Go Chotu!" she shouted. She decided to join in. She grabbed Sooraj for Chotu and then Chotu grabbed him. Sandhya sat him down and Chotu got the plate of ladoos. He fed Sooraj a big ladoo that made his face like a ball. Sandhya and Chotu high fived each other and Sooraj wasn't impressed. "That's not fair!" he nibbled on the ladoo and scrunched up his face. Sandhya couldn't stop laughing but Chotu felt bad. He held his shoulder and said "Sorry Sooraj bhaiya!" Chotu looked glum. Sooraj looked at him with a sad face still. Suddenly Sooraj grabbed Chotu and sat him on his lap and tickled him. Chotu couldn't stop laughing. Sandhya watched happily.

They cleared up and Chotu and Sooraj went to sleep. Sandhya started revising for her topic exam which was tomorrow. She revised the whole night and ended up falling asleep on the desk. Sooraj woke up by himself that morning to see her sleeping on the desk. He rushed out of bed to look at the time it was 7.30 they were late. He put his slippers on and rushed to Sandhya. "Sandhya ji wake up! Sandhya ji its 7.30am!" She shook and woke up. She looked up to see Sooraj in front of her and shot up from her seat. She looked up at the time and ran around the house like a headless chicken. "Sooraj ji I'm really sorry for not waking up now I will be late and you will be late too and Chotu as well!" she rushed and ran to the wardrobe to get a salwar out. Sooraj ran to her and stopped her. He held her shoulders and looked at her. "Sandhya ji calm down! Don't worry about me or Chotu just get dressed and you prepare for your exam!" he cupped her cheek and kissed her forehead gently. Sandhya smiled a little. She went into the bathroom a little relieved. Sooraj went into the kitchen and put on the tea and took out some snacks in little bowls. They didn't have much time so a small snack would be okay. "I will pack some lunch for both Chotu and Sandhya!" he smiled and got some dry fruits and prepared a fruit salad for both of them. He woke up Chotu and he grabbed his and Sandhya's books and packed them in their individual bags. Sandhya came out of the bathroom to see the house spotless and breakfast ready. She looked at Sooraj and was shocked. "Sooraj ji why did you do it all by yourself... I could have done it all!" Sooraj smiled and shook his head. "Sandhya ji one day you are late doesn't mean I can't do anything and anyway if we do things together they get done quicker!" Sooraj made Sandhya have breakfast. After breakfast he went downstairs with Sandhya to get her a rickshaw to drop her off.

Sandhya went to University and went straight in for her exam. The teacher instructed everyone of the rules and precautions if anyone cheated and then the exam started. Sandhya prayed to Ganesh ji before she started. Her exam lasted 2 hours and she seemed fine. After her exam ended she went out to check her phone. There was 3 missed calls from the police commissioner. She was shocked. She was going to ring Sooraj ji but then she though the commissioner must have something important to tell her. She rang the commissioner. "Hello Commissioner saab it's me Sandhya Rathi... sorry for not taking your calls I was in an exam... was there anything important to share?!" Sandhya added. "Mrs Rathi we have our first piece of evidence!" Sandhya smiled in happiness. She put the phone down and thought of her next move. "Meenakshi... you think you are clever to harm Bhabo but you watch what I do to you!" Sandhya went straight to the police station to have a look at the evidence. She got off at the police station and went in. "Can I please meet the police commissioner immediatly?!" she asked the watchman. He told her that he is busy in a meeting and to wait. She sat there for 20 minutes frantically. The commissioner asked her to come. "Mrs Rathi here are the photos that were taken outside Rathi House!" Sandhya looked through them intently. "Here you can see Meenakshi Rathi holding onto Santosh Rathi's hand and telling her to go and do something! Also, Santosh Rathi leaving the house upset!" Sandhya is teary and shocked at Meenakshi's behaviour. "There are others but we have to be careful with the amount of images we take as we dont want her to be suspicious!" the commissioner added. Sandhya's phone was ringing but as it was on vibrate it could not be heard.

"Inspector... we need some more evidence... we need a look into accounts and further footage of happenings. Is it possible to record instead of still photos that way we can overlook it and see what they are saying?!" Sandhya continued adding ideas and the inspector noted them down. "I must say Mrs Rathi you do have a flare for this field!" he smiled at her. "Thanks a lot for these ideas I will pass this down to the team to help further!" Sandhya continued with certain plans and it was nearing 5 pm in the afternoon. The day passed and Sandhya was still there. Sooraj was overly worried. Sandhya's phone showed 20 missed calls.

Precap: Sandhya comes home to find Sooraj. Sooraj opens the door and is angry with Sandhya. "Where were you Sandhya? Did you not think to inform me once?!" Sooraj was not happy. He slammed the door and sat down on the bed. Sandhya is worried.
