I still say may the best man(or woman) win!! OK here goes.
He opened the envelope, "I think this is happening for the first time in the
history of music contests, that there are 2 winners here. Well, their scores
tally. So it's a tie"
He took a deep breath ".....And the SUPER SINGER of 2008 is, sorry are,
Mr.Angad Khanna and Ms.Kripa Sharma"
Angad & Kripa: Yippee!! I won!!(together)
Then they looked at each other for the first time after that bumping and
coke incident.
Both: TUM???
Both: Toh woh tumhari awaaz thi???
Angad: Kripa is a very beautiful name, Senorita!
Kripa: Don't call me Senorita
Kripa went towards the stage giving him a disgusted look. "It was him!
How could I have thought it would be a better person". Angad also
followed her confusedly. "It was her!! Why didn't I think of it before?" "Her
voice is as pretty as she is" he thought, and smiled to himself.
RK: Congrats Angad & Kripa!! Well done!! You guys rocked!!!
Both: Thankyou.
RK: Here you go....your trophy!!
Angad held it, but Kripa tried to pull it from him. They tried to pull it in
their directions. Finally both of them gave up and held it together. It
looked perfect.
They gave grumpy looks to each other and walked away in opposite
directions.
Kripa was waiting for a taxi. Angad stopped his Porsche in front of her.
He asked her if he could drop her home. Our miss Kripa told him to stay
away and got into a taxi. Angad was pissed off.
That night, Angad was lying down on his bed thinking of the contest, the
trophy, which Kripa had promptly taken with her, and of course, about
Kripa. He was wondering why that girl made such a difference to him. He
had met her only today, and already he couldn't stop thinking about her.
Then his phone rang. It was his best friend, Armaan.
Angad: Hey buddy!wassup?
Armaan: Well, nothing
Angad: Toh call kyon kiya?
Armaan: Woh.. kal basketball final match hai na...
Angad: Toh usme tension kaisi?
Armaan: Main tensed nahi hoon. Mujhe bas moral support chahiye...
Angad: Of course man, tu mera best friend hai. Main pahunch jaaonga.
Waise opponents kaun hai?
Armaan: Kuch ladkiyan hai..
Angad: Wow! Tab to main zaroor aaonga.
Ammy: Hey..hold it...tu mere side par to hai na?
An: Sochna padega.....just kidding.....of course tere side pe hoon. Waise
main tujhe bataana bhool gaya ki aaj main Super Singer contest jeet gaya.
Ammy: Congrats man!! Sorry main nahi aa saka....woh basketball practice
karna tha na
An: It's ok(little sad)
Ammy: Waise koi mili kya?(he very well knew how big a flirt Angad was)
An: Mili na....Senorita. Maine prize bhi usi ke saath share kiya hai.
Ammy: Kya matlab?
An: Hum joint winners hain.
Ammy: Italian hai kya?
An: Nahi yaar, total Hindustani
Ammy: Toh Senorita ka number liya?
An: Nahi yaar, bahut gussewali hai.

Angad: Pata nahi kyun, par mujhe lagta hai ki hum dobara zaroor

Back at Kripa's home, Kripa was really excited about winning the contest.
She looked at the trophy, then suddenly thought that she should not have
brought it home. "Uska bhi is trophy par haq hai. Par he was so arrogant.
It's ok. Yeh aajkal ke ladke bhi na. Bilkul tameez nahi hai. Good i brought
the trophy home" she was talking to herself.
The next day In the background we saw the popular basketball court. The
captain of the boys team was calling out.."Armaan!!common!!Match kuch
hi der mein shuru hoga. Mujhe strategy discuss karni hai...." Coming right
up......" Armaan walked into the basketball court. Hey guys i'm trying my
best to describe him. He was wearing his famous yellow basketball outfit.
And he looked as always-cool, handsome, dashing, and was already a
winner.....according to me 😉...heehee.... the gals in the crowd had
almost
fainted seeing him. He was looking so cute.
"Hey chill man, we'll win easily. I don't think these girls can beat us. We'll
beat them flat" He said with a cheeky smile, and gave the captain a high
five. Now,now Armaan, confidence is good, but never under estimate your
opponent.
The rest of the guys joined in and the captain began his strategy for the
game.
The girls team had arrived. They were a bunch of smart, young and
confident gals. And one of them was....you know who. If u don't know,
keep guessing...
Ammy: Hmmm...interesting.....But wait!! Where is Angad? Why hasn't he
turned up yet?? My moral support!! Where the hell is he?
Girls: Why....Mr.Over confident...ghar jaana hai???
They started laughing at him. Armaan gave them a fake smile and left
from there.
Armaan called up Angad.
Ammy: Hey man, where the hell are u? The match is about to begin.
Angad: Very sorry yaar, actually I got up late. And now i'm stuck in this
traffic jam. I doubt if I can reach before your match ends.
Ammy: WHAT??
Angad: Sorry buddy, par you'll do well.I know. All the best buddy!
Ammy: BYE!
and he switched off his phone.
Angad: Ab ye mujhe nahi chodnewala....Help me God!
The referee blew his whistle. And the match began. The boys scored a
basket in no time. And one more...and one more. They were sure they
were gonna win. The gals scored a basket finally. And one more. The
match went on like this. Finally it was half time break. The boys were
leading by 10 points. Gonna wait and watch.....
The girls captain was busy instructing the girls how to go about the
game. She then looked at a girl "Hey Rids! Tumhe careful rehna hoga.
Tum uss. Kya naam hai uska? Armaan...I think. Ha usse careful raho. Woh
kaafi accha khelta hai"
Enter Riddhima(a.k.a. Rids) please imagine Shilpa guys, our sweet, chirpy,
bubbly,(quite short tempered) BB player. She was looking as cute as ever.
In her red track suit. "Don't worry! Usse deal karna mujhe aata hai. Bada
smart samajhta hai apne aap ko. Usse toh main sikhaongi. You don't
worry" She tried to pacify the worried captain.
Post break - The game began again. Boys were leading. The gals score 3
baskets in a row. Armaan was dribbling the basketball. He was about to
score a basket, when he bumped into Rids and they fell down, and then
the rolling....very filmy....5-6 times...hehe....he was totally awestruck by
her cute yet innocent smile...few stands of her hair had come on her face.
He tried to pull them away, but she pushed him back and got up.
Rids: Uhhhhhh! That was a foul. Usne mujhe jaanboojke dhakka diya
Armaan, still couldn't take his eyes off her. He soon came back into
reality.
Ammy: Huh! What? No...maine jaanboojke dhakka nahi diya. It was a
mistake. I'm sorry
Rids: Tum jeetne keliye kuch bhi kar sakte ho...CHEATER!CHEATER!
Ammy: Hey don't call me that!
Rids: Kyun? Cheaters ko to cheaters hi kehte hain....CHEATER!CHEATER!
Ammy: Don't call me a cheater!!! I said I'm sorry
Rids: Ya whatever....
The game resumed once again. Armaan was a lil' upset by the incident.
His concentration on the game weakened. The gals scored a basket.
Boys captain: Hey armaan! Tumhara dhyan kaha hai? Woh humse sirf 4
points peeche hain.
Time was running out. Only 3 minutes to go.
Gals scoreed another basket. And another one. The boys were getting
really tensed up now.
Both the teams reached the same score. Just 40 seconds were to go.
"Hurry up guys!!" the referee yelled.
