DMG is kinda influenced by movies... it's so easy to see. Most scenes they re-enact from movies are cute though...
For example..

1) When Armaan refuses to kiss Ridhimma at the basketball game and says the same line as Amir Khan did when he had to do the same thing with Madhuri Dixit in Dil

2) Hum Aap Ke Hain Kaun!!! OMG they did the whole stealing-the-groom's-shoes-and-running-upstairs-and- falling-on-the-bed-together thing. This one, I had a little complaint against... No one can do that scene better than Madhuri Dixit and Salman Khan

3) "ladki ko stylish banna chahiye.. salwaar-kameez waali nahin, par mini-skirt waali chahiye"... totally reminds me of that scene from Maine Pyaar Kiya, when Reema Lagoo asks Salmaan Khan what kind of bride he fancies, and he says those things to poke innocent fun at Bhagyashri, just as Armaan did with Ridhimma

4)aeeee Kanta-ben... the whole Atul and Armaan thing is def. inspired by Kal Ho Na Ho, with the thing between Saif and SRK. On top of that, DMG even has their own Kanta-ben... Lovely 😕

Not trying to nit-pick DMG or anything, but I just observed these things over the past couple of weeks. Did anyone else notice?

I think we've all noticed, but even though the ideas might not seem original, they all fitted so nicely and added to the fun!

I really don't mind if they were taken from films, they were very memorable, nicely enacted scenes. 😳

Yeh its true many of the scenes are inspired from a few movies....but the way the scenes are portrayed the actors manage to make it their own....so at times its more enjoyable to watch DMG version rather than the original 😃

I agree, they do it in a really good way... it's not like they copy scene-by-scene or anything. Most of them were really cute scenes... I loved the thing with Armaan+Atul and Lovely 😆 😳
