Promos too long ...! ?!

Aah, before all the DMGians come with dandas and hockey sticks... do hear me out... please! 😉

The DMG Promos are always rocking ... and serve like a breather.. during those damned weekends that seem painfully too long.... for our own comfort!

But off late... the promos are a dead giveaway into what half the episode is all about... like the DMG song today... I loved it...but today during the episode... I jus wished... this was the first time I was watching it and an umpteenth time after watching the promo... coz it almost seems like a repeat... The dandiya promo was fab... but I wish... they show bits and pieces and snippets rather than the entire sequence... coz it is taking out...the pleasure of watching the fantastic scenes for the first time when the epi is aired...!

Even Minnie's illness had almost all the scenes of the episode... I jus wish it had jus a scene or two to keep the anticipation levels high rather than so many scenes which kinda are beginning to serve as dampers for our anticipation levels...

The TRPs are rocking the charts.. and such detailed promos dont seem a necessity at the moment... I'd prefer more... shorter promos that raise anticipation levels higher... with jus sneak peeks...

I never intended to say that the promos are not good.. no, they are fantastic , but I jus wish they were shorter... and are not such a giveaway of the story ahead, since we already have precaps and the precaps are certainly different from the promos most of the time...

I agree with you.. they show a lot in the promos.. but on the other hand: you dont have to watch the promos if you want to see the scenes for the fist time in the epi. I know it is hard, especially in the weekends but at least it will not spoil the fun of watching the epi.

Devia I agree... its upto us to not watch the promos... .. but sometimes... while something else or someother show... the entire promo is shown.. for someone who is curious ... abt DMG... one would watch it... only to realize that the episode seems like a repeat... especially with the AR scenes which all over the promos! 😆 I completely see your point... but I still maintain my stand... the promos can be a tad bit shorter and less... of a story/ episode giveaway! 😉

I dont have Indian channels so I can choose to watch the promos or not. I did not think about those who have the channel on tv.. but there you have a point!! 😆

Payal, I agree they are doing an fabulous job of showing the promos... to raise the anticipation levels...I love the promos... but then I also feel... in the promos, they are showing tad bit too much... like entire song?, all the clincher scenes of the minnie illness episode...and since AR romance is the TRP garner... their scenes should be shorter in the promos than they are currently..

I agree with you sareeta. You love the scenes they show in the promo and watch them repeatdly before the actually episode, and when the episode airs the excitement isn't there anymore.

For some reason this past weekend I didn't get a chance to watch the singing promo or the precap from Thursday's episode and so yesterday when I watched the scene where Riddhima comforts Armaan and the fall asleep... I was blushing and had butterflies in my stomach. The excitement of watching that scene was so much more than the scenes that are already shown in the promos.

I love the promos, but they are long and if they cut it short a little maybe the anticipation and excitement while watching the episode is there!
