Havent watched the whole season 1 so dont know about A's parents. If they are there we can have saas-bahu drama too ..just think of an evil saasuma giving tough time to R..me loving it 😈

Totally agree with you! For me, Star One was special purely because it catered for an age range that no one else caters/catered for. I can't think of any other channel that thinks to entertain the youth in the way Star One does. Be it DMG, MJHT, GHSP, PKYEK, RBO, YIH or anything else, they all worked brilliantly because they were tapping into an untapped target audience.

From a viewer's point of view, that was fantastic...because we finally had something that we would really enjoy watching...something that wasn't a KEkta serial, or a typical Saas-Bahu saga. These youth-orientated shows were, to some extent, based to things we could relate to - love, friendships, relationships, family, and that balance between being cultured and moving with the times. Star One's shows truly were a breath of fresh air!

I'm no Head of Channel or anything, but presumably this was a great business strategy too. Over the past few years, I think we've shown that the current youth is a force to be reckoned with - our support can make or break shows! We're constantly on sites like IF, and petition like crazy for things to be the way we want them. So surely, having the youth on their side is what's made Star One what it is today.

Granted that our strong youth forces have often been a headache for the production houses, and that our numerous phonecalls can leave them pulling their hair out...but we clearly give them the TRPs too! So I was extremely surprised to here that Star One was to become a Gujrati channel called Star Desh!

Personally, I don't speak Gujrati, so that's going to be of no appeal to me. And I'm sure that I'm not the only one in that boat. There must be plenty of people who have loved the youth-orientated shows, but will have next to no interest in the Gujrati shows replacing them.

Perhaps there is a well thought out reson for this change. But until someone from what is currently Star One comes forward and explains it all, I can't help but think that Star One really has gone nuts!

popular with the audiance and are STILL remembered
And appriciated regardless of the TRP it achived goes to prove that it can be just as

Get their TRP's but they will definitely loose the fanbase

even if star one is revamping and getting renamed as star desh...then there is no reason for it to not make season 3 of DMG>...its not gonna have any running shows anyway,...as all of them are 'closing down'

So atleast if they do a season 3 of DMG people will actually respect the revamp...

personally i just want to see KSG as Dr Armaan again...i dont mind if its Kash Kasu or KAjen...or even Arsh...i want Dr Armaan...
