Star One gone nuts? Thoughts from a DMG fan

Ok so I saw this article :

Star One will bid adieu to the two shows in early August..

It's a known fact that Star One is headed for a complete revamp in September after which there will be a fresh lineup of shows that will be on air. But before that happens, there is a need for the existing shows to get to a logical end. And we hear that it will be Panglosean Entertainment's Yeh Ishq Haaye and Beyond Dreams' Rang Badalti Odhani that will shut shop first.

I dont know if this is allowed to be posted here but since My love for Star One essentially was cos of DMG so here goes my two cents.

For me Star one stood for cool,new,fresh and Young- and all the shows like Remix,Hotel Kingston, them Dil Mill Gayye, MJHT,PKEYEK,RBO,Geet ect were a breath of fresh air- at least young people could watch people who dresses,spoke,felt quite a bit like them if not totally like them 😆
Now the new name is so damn putting off, the new kinda shows are obviously gonna be useless saas bahu types.What is this if not cheating the audience who saw Star One as prob the only channel for some different stuff?😕


Personally i kinda wished a lot for the comeback of Dill Mill Gayye as a sequel or something on similar lines of young professionals and the usual mix of romance , fun etc.😃

I dunno but i guess MJHT etc fans would feel the same too

So for me SO=DMG to quite an extent- i would be sad to see it change so drastically



But with this change i dunno where Star One is going to go :/


Any thoughts on the channel that gave us the show and hence this forum ?
PS:If anyone can let the channel know i think they're going nuts please do 😛

You forgot to mention, its not only saas bahu, but also some gujrati shows.

LOL Sam see thats one thing no channel wants- fans taking off the channel out of their boxes too :) We can only see them dubaaoing their own naiyya :/ Or maybe it'll work whatever they are after- but they defi set out as something else

They will be the producers and viewers as well.

What? Matlab like out and out Gujrati shows?😲 How can a pan-Indian channel do that
I have nothing against shows with a regional flavor- so many of them are so much fun- but to replace the existing and past peppy shows COMPLETELY with such shows is too much :/
