@-Genius-: Not just standing close but they can't stop thinking about each other, and the worst part is Riddhima b/c she's doing this after her remarriage. She really is very weak but honestly right now I firmly believe she wants Armaan. I know she's confused and I won't be surprised if all of a sudden she wants to be with Sid, but right now its Armaan and that's infidelity.

@Huma: Right, exactly and you know even in terms of physical components, they did do quite a bit and yes it's very annoying to see this now when she has chosen Sid so many times.

Ok on to the topic:
Yes I agree that it's not just the physical part but I won't go so far as to say she betrayed Sid and has been committing infidelity (lol I was about to say infidel but then I'm like nah that just doesn't sound right here...anyways). She did think about Armaan before but from however much I have seen of SR, it appeared that Riddhima was fine with Sid and till last week she even seemed to be in love. Yes during the March/April time she was thinking about both men, but I think that's somewhat okay because she was at a juncture in her life and Armaan just appeared out of nowhere. But now she chose Sid knowing Armaan is there, she seemed to be in love with him and may even have professed so, hence to see her doing all this now is definitely infidelity.
OMG you feel sorry for her??? I think we have to quit being friends. LOL. Honestly I don't see how you can. She's had numerous chances to make choices and she kept on choosing Sid, and yeah she even appeared to be in love with him. I have no sympathy or empathy for her, and I gave up understanding Riddhima a very long time ago. If any character deserves to be in the psych ward, it's her.

Hmm yes commitment is a very important aspect but then even if you by that, hasn't Riddhima committed herself to Sid numerous times. She's chosen him over Armaan at least 2x now. Plus marriage does constitute commitment.

@yattri: I'm not trying to prove anything here. I don't know why everyone thinks that every post has to be biased and have some hidden agenda. I honestly do think Riddhima is betraying her marriage and Sid, and yes that AR are having an affair. But why do you think I won't clarify on the stand that AR love each other? I guess you know that I'm not an AR fan so somehow that means I will give a biased opinion to the current track?
Look about the current track, it has been changed drastically (won't get into the reasons). Anyways yes as I said in my post, Armaan loves her and I think Riddhima does too but I also know that she's a confused soul so maybe she doesn't? I don't know about her and as I said to Nahida, I gave up on her a long time ago.
Anyways about the infidelity bit, my topic is just on the current track and what constitutes as infidelity. I'm not talking about Lonavala or any other instance with any close AR moments.
I completely agree with this: "its just not the physical proximity tht matters, it matters where the heart lies and with the emotional proximity".
I won't like to comment on Sid and his negative/positive portrayal. For all we know the track might be changed suddenly again and anyways my topic isn't about Sid's character.

oh dude, I hate ridhima atm, for the reason that you mentioned above and more. I was just making a generic statement in my previous post (:

@bold - now that's something I don't agree with. a social norm doesn't guaruntee commitment, it comes from within. a couple living in a live-in relationship can be more committed than a married couple anyday. all said and done, marriage is nothing more than a legal paper, not the entire relationship - that's something that's needs to be worked upon by every couple, whether married or not.

The biggest fact you are forgetting is that sid married Ridhima knowing she is crazy about Armaan! sid knew Ridhimas life, love and everything is Armaan.. he even saw the girl commit suicide for Armaan infront of his eyes yet he married her! He married Ridhima knowing she loves someone else to the extent of ending her life for him. so whos the fool?? Ridhima is not cheating on sid because sid knew exactly what he was getting him self into. Armaan WAS STILL ALIVE! there was every chance of him coming back and sid should have known that!

I am surprised at myself for being here. Oh my you are going let that delusional woman come between our friendship, is that how fickle our friendship was to you *does a bollywood melodramatic scream nahiiiiiiiiiiiiii* LOL

I (as a girl) felt sorry for Riddhima today because of what life has thrown at her. She for once needs to develop a backbone and get away from all those man (Shahank, Armaan and Sid) in her life!

Oh yeah she certainly needs to be admitted to the psychiatric ward for the thing she has done to both male leads of the show and to the people of this forum hahaa...a sentence from Riddhima can create chaos here.

@Neeta: I have the same sentiment as you regarding marriage. To me marriage is only a piece of paper unless there are equal amount of commitments from both side.

Maybe u didnt watch those episode properly . sid didnt want to marry her. it was riddhima who told him to do soo. dont u remember (i refuse u riddhima gupta).. forget that since u hate sid. what about the 2nd marriage. riddhima was the one who so hype about it. atleast u should be happy if it wasnt for him riddhima would be dead by now. So that means no AR.

seert i agree with u. first of all she shouldnt have given him false hope. she is still betraying him no matter what

LOL i dont rly care if someone has a biased opinion or a hidden agenda behind anything they express.. after all its their view and everybody watches the show and wants to see what they like. so i wont even complain if youre or anybodys view is biased or not tbh.
Coming to the topic,I rly dont know. i wouldnt be surprised if the story takes a completely new direction next week, cos DMG has a long history of inconsistency. And the character of Riddhima sure does need to come out in open with her feelings. Riddhima the character itself is portrayed with so much confusion. I hope this here is the turning point of DMG and steadies itself in one direction whichever may it be.

That's exactly what I said in a post on some topic a few days ago. Riddhima has been emotionally two-timing Sid for quite a while now...even during the wedding, all she did was think abt Armaan n compare him to Sid. I mean, if u've made peace with ur past, why the need to compare him to ur husband n tell every1 how Sid is better than Armaan??? It felt like she was trying to convince herself that Sid was the better option.

And she lost my respect when she kept putting Armaan down in front of Shilpa, Shanks, Angie, n god knows who else! She needs to GROW-UP! She needs to get off her high moral hippogriff n stop with the Miss Sachendevri Act.

Frankly, she does NOT deserve Sid. If I were Sid, I'd kick her to the curb n move on. She has stooped to the lowest levels for me. And even if the CVs keeps SR together, I cud care less cuz the essence of SR has been destroyed. It's been dying for a while now but this incident has sealed the nail in the coffin.
