i really like her character here coz she is not confused about her feelings like in the show...

SR OS second chances Part 3

Recap:- Sid's car has an accident and Riddhima just collapses seeing it. Dr.Shashank comes to the place and after 3 days the Police give up the search for Sid declaring him to be dead. Riddhima cries and breaks down

Ab aage:-

Riddhima still doesn't know how or what she did after the news that Sid had died reached her. She was in a trance like state for about 5 months. Shashank meanwhile did all the necessary formalities for Sid's police case and Sid's case was closed.

Shashank and Padma didn't know why Sid went out that day and they didn't dare ask their daughter. Riddhima was in her own world and she didn't speak or say anything. Mr and Mrs. Modi along with Sue came to India and they were heart broken to know the truth about their only son. But then looking at Riddhima they just didn't know what to say or what to do. They just couldn't stay in India for long and just went away. Only Sue stayed for sometime in India. She knew that her bhabhi needed her.

Riddhima's state was horrible. She was completely broken in spirit. She just couldn't believe that her Sid had left her. She was always lost in some thought.

Riddhima(thinking):- I can't live like this. I have to die. Yes that is the only way I can meet Sid. I can't live without Sid. Sid has to listen to me and he has to know that I have not erred. I know there was a momentary lapse in my judgement but in my heart of hearts I am only Sid's. Sid has to know this. How can he leave me without even listening to me once.

Slowly like this 6 months pass. During the 6 months Riddhima goes in and out of hallucinations. She starts to see Sid in her hallucinations. Seeing Sid in her hallucinations becomes a burden for Riddhima as it is a torture for her to see her Sid but not touch him, not love him, not be in his secure arms. So finally one day Riddhima decides to end her life. She goes to the medical cabinet and gets out a poison bottle.

Riddhima(thinking):- Finally all my problems will be solved. Finally I will be free.

Just when she was about to drink the poison she hears Sid calling out to her.

Sid(calmly):- So Riddhima is this the way you play with my gift.

Riddhima(shocked to see alive just rushes to him):- Sid, oh Sid. I just can't live without you. I have to die. I can't be away from you and if this poison gets me near you then I will gladly die.

Sid(in a very calm tone):- Riddhima tell me one thing. Do you love me.

Riddhima(now crying like a small child):- Yes Sid. I love you. I love you very much. I have not deceived you Sid. I have not broken your trust on me. Believe me Sid. Please believe me.

Sid:- I believe you Riddhima. I believe that you haven't broken my trust. But I don't believe that you love me.

Riddhima(shocked):- You don't believe that I love you. Why Sid. Why wouldn't you believe it.

Sid:- Simple because Riddhima you are not honoring my gift. The life that you want to take out right you is a gift of mine. Remember I saved you from death that day and from that day onwards the life you live is my gift to you. How can you say that you love me and yet want to give up your life, no kill yourself. This is no way you love me Riddhima. If you really love me then you should live your life to the fullest and I expect nothing less from you. Remember it is through your life that I can live to my heart's content.

Saying this the image of Sid vanishes. Riddhima understands that the life she was about to give up was not hers anymore. It was and always will be Sid's gift to her. She decides that she will live her life as Sid's wife in name and meaning.

Riddhima makes a decision to go back to Sanjeevani and be a doctor. Initially Dr.Shashank and Padma were little nervous when Riddhima tells them that she wants to work in Sanjeevani but then they give in for their daughter. Riddhima starts the job the very next day.

Before going to the job she looks at her wedding picture with Sid during her first wedding and hugs the photo.

Riddhima(hugging the photo and kissing Sid):- Sid bless me. Today I am going to go to Sanjeevani, to be a doctor, to do what you have asked me to do, to move on in my life. I am, will and always be your wife.

Riddhima goes to Sanjeevani and starts her work. She asks Dr.Shashank to give her work in pediatric ward. Slowly with the kids Riddhima starts to open up.

Armaan who had meanwhile gone on a medical tour comes back to Sanjeevani. After the news of Sid's death came Armaan was shocked but he didn't think anything much. Riddhima was never to be seen in
Sanjeevani so he kind of didn't think what he should say or what he should do. Armaan while walking back to the locker room sees Riddhima playing with the kids, laughing and being herself. He is shocked to see Riddhima back in the hospital.

Armaan(thinking):- I can't say what my life has become without you Riddhima. But now that you are here I have to talk to you. I have to ask you to be mine. After all Sid would have wanted you to move on in life so I am now not backing out Riddhima. Never. I will make you mine.

Saying this Armaan walks towards Riddhima. When he is near her he stops and calls out to her.

Armaan:- Riddhima. I need to talk to you.
