Now Shanky will use Armaan to make Riddhima go closer to Sid in that process she might burst out in emotion saying to Armaan "How can you be so wonderful by giving your love to someone else?" And that can wake up the Armaan Mallik who fought for his right.

Shashank... uuff.. another character ruined by the CV's!!

I wonder about the dialogue writer when they are putting this together... do they think!??

If the point that Shank wanted to put forth was .. give the marriage a chance... he could have said something in the lines of..

' Beta.. I am sorry for what happened.. but you are married... marriage is a sacred institution give it an honesty try and things will get better"

Is this rocket science to write...??
Isn't it conveying the same message that you have to keep with the marriage..
gosh..i really wonder who is sitting behind that desk writing the dialogues!!😆 not that i want to know!!!😃

Yeah, this is the same Dt Shashank Gupta who in Sanjeevani serial reunited Rahul and Juhi even though Rahul was married- i just saw the reruns on TV asia and Shashank had a dialogue in it "sachcha pyaar kisi bhi shaadi ya rishte se oopar hota hai (something like that)

With age, instead of keeping up with the times, he is regressing into 19th century. If Sid dies, will he ask Ridz to commit sati?

Anyways, the whole question about who does Ridz really love has been solved by starone's poll:

Their question is:

Nobody knows these doctors from Sanjeevni better than you fans!
You are the biggest force to help Riddhima take the right decision.
Should Riddhima follow her heart or should she give her marriage another chance?

So, everyone who thinks Armaan is not her heart and soul anymore, have an answer from starone itself!

He's telling her to go ahead and make a decision, but he's also indirectly telling her she has no choice, as if it's the ultimatum. He's convincing her that she shouldn't divorce. "You can divorce.. but just keep in mind.. if you do.. everyone will blame you.."

Yeah way to encourage your daughter to take the right decision, and follow her heart no matter what the world thinks. It's always been about what the "society" thinks for Shanky. Marriage sequence anyone?

He's a good guy at heart, he really is. He just doesn't want his daughter to be defamed in front of the society; but that at the cost of her love? I don't know... :/

I hate u Shanky..he is not deserve to be called a father..all what matter for him is what society will say & not about his daughter happiness becoz now he knows that Armaan loves Riddhima like crazy and can go to any extend to make her happy..but then also he's behaving like this.. "Shashank baap nahi balki Ridhima ke pichle janam ka paap hai"..had he ever told Ridz that don't think about what the society will say, what the society will do, people will say & fuhget so do what ur heart says, live with the one who can keep u happy, what society says does'nt matters to me but what matters is only u & ur happiness.." Look that's what my dad whould have told to me if i would have been in such kind of situation but this Selfish Shashank is..what to say even the dictionary will not have any word to describe his nature..

Well, Bheegi I understand the statement he used does not gives any positive message. But still we cannot compare the 2 situations.
In Rahul and Juhi's case, his wife was a villain. And I dnt know what was the situation when Shashank had told Rahul about sachcha pyaar.
But in this situation, Sid is clearly not the vilaain and instead he helped this Family in crisis situation.
He just used the wrong statement. But his motive is correct. He should have never forced her to marry Sid in the first place. Im not sure if he forced her or not. But if not forced her then should have stopped her from marrying Sid at that time. But now when she's married, I guess this is what any Dad would do.

well! why am i not surprised? i understand dr. shashank's concern and love for riddhima but the way he put across his thoughts is another thorn rose for me. being a doctor, and that too a reknowned surgeon,he said those words which he actually need not to.
i am not saying that any father would be happy to see her daughter divorce in early days of her marriage but he should explain things optimisiticly rather than the society whom he is talking about. you know a doctor understands people's psychology better and especially when the person is his own daughter.
riddhima is a traditional and caring girl. she won't go against her elder's wishes and dr. shashank knows it. and by bringing the whole point of socital glare will actually make her bound to the marriage. even if she decided to take charge of her life , and if her choice is
1armaan- then completely shattered. those words would ring in her mind and never let her go to armaan. never. she would be stamped upon by the the honorable society.
2. now sid. if she choses sid out of respect and thinking that he is her present, then in my opinion she would try to make her marriage work and in the process if she forgets armaan, then she would be happy.
and if she still craves for armaan, then also the societal chains would not set her free.

in my opinion, parents are children's guiding light. they are one of the most important persons and its whom they look upto and have pride upon. their actions and words have a long lasting impression in their mind. so i expect parents to be more understanding and not sound more like commanding officers, especially the parents who are so experienced and professional. every parent is concerned about her child and such reactions are expected but the way they see it what actually matters!
here dr.shashank wants her to save the marriage but giving her wrong bases to do so. no daughter would cherish her life at cost of her family's dignity!
and society is not going to witness the pain, riddhima will go through.
i still remeber the holi scene where riddhima , like a promising wife, decided to clean sid's shoes. the same society criticised her mentality saying' dr. riddhima aisi to nahi thi'
no they didn't see her pain but only saw how easily she bowed down in front of her husband!
