why does a doctor feel pressured by society into taking life altering decisions
why all a man needs to do is malign a girl and the educated doctor girl needs to marry him
why does a father spend his whole life educating and bringing up his doctor daughter with morals of truth and principles ,and then starts crying about who will marry her, and marries her off to the first guy who she is linked with
why is a fainting mother whose ill-repute is history deserve more protection than a young girl who wants nothing more than to be reunited with her love
why does a woman still need to get married forcibly , or at all
is there no other way of protecting her fair name.
why , if armaan doesnt come back, then riddhima needs to marry sid
why cant she decide , as millions of women do, and indeed even indian heroines in traditional movie setups used to do, to remain unnmarried and wait for her lost love
why is the fact that a man sacrificed his entire life by going away to save this lady from a miserable life become a huge sin...in earlier days it would be called a supreme sacrifice
marriage is an indian value, and ditching your love is what?
education is supposed to make you strong willed and independant, and riddhima was always both....how come she feels so pushed by circums. she finds no difficulty in being strong enough always to pain armaan...

i see no difference between the way shashank behaves , despite being a top doctor, and the way an uneducated omar bhai behaved towards tamanna and her marriage. omar bhai had an excuse, what is shashank's?
what was padma thinking? to save her own fair name, she sacrificed ridhima's life? is that a mother...

if breaking a marriage is un-indian, then how indian is it to malign marriage like this and make it into a contract of convenience ...of everybody except the girl involved?
is dmg trying to preach that women are sheep and goats who can be tied to anyone and then it is unholy for them to break that bond...that they are not human and dont deserve a life.
and that they are mindless and dishonest enough to fall in love with whomver they marry not giving a thought to the poor man who she has troubled for the last 3 years...
is this what dmg ''creative's want us to think about marriage...

what is the dmg team thinking...are these cvs ?

great questions👏👏

That's exactly my point to the Cvs

👏 Thank you soooo much for this post.
It sums up what most people are thinking. And it says everything that I've tried to voice at numerous occasions, but never as beautifully as you do. 😊
DMG had been an inspiration for so many, both in terms of believing in love, and in bringing out their creative side. It was the start of an era of youth based shows, completely different from the usual saas-bahu sagas we were used to. It was a breath of fresh air, particularly for the younger generation, but not only for them. It's such a shame to see this once blooming show, wither. And I can only hope, like so many others, that CV can revive this show and their previous creativity!
Once again, thank you so much for this amazing post!

what a post!!
DMG was the first among the youth based shows; which touched many problems lying in our society and how modern India smartly dealt with them in a very simple easy funny way. it was undiluted fun.
It was also a romantic comedy which we all loved and Armaan and Riddhima's became a part of our daily life. we fell in love with them& also with their love. Change of actress playing the role of Riddhima didnot let loyal DMGians leave the show. We loved all the 3 Riddhima's. It was the lovestory which kept us with DMG.
Now bringing the new character in; as Riddhima' sister they are spoiling DMG to a point of no return.
After all these promises and loving each other crazily, Armaan and Riddhima will end up as Jija & sali..unbelievable. What a dusgusting end to the modern show we all loved. This is like dark ages where a man married two sisters at a time. Howcome Armaan who loved Riddhima so much, more than his life will love her sister when Riddhima is very much alive and around. I just can't simply think how the creatives can make such disgusting track.
What a stupid end to the beautiful lovestory.

Hi Bheegi

Whatever u have written is 100% correct. They are misleading the show and they many lovestories incomplete .NotOnly Armaan-Ridhima,Atul-Anjali,Muskaan-Rahul etc...

When they want they created beautiful story between them and left them aside..

Anyway very good post.Hope CV's read this and make up their mind

Hi everyone

Thanks for responding to this post. It's good to know that there are still some die hard romantics and believers of true love on this forum.....well all I can say is that the show Dill Mill Gaye that started with a dill has somewhere over the last few months in its quest for trps and pleasing different sections of fans, has lost it's dill.

Whenever a story is told with 'dill' it manages to touch a lot of 'dills' but when its not, it can please a few people for a few moments, but can never become an eternal story like it had once promised to be...
