Bheegi....
firstly on your post 👏
Extremely well written ⭐️
Now...coming to the point...we all have been asking the same things for a long time 😕 DMG was popular for its youth appeal, but sadly today it's turned into a retro show, as you put it.
It's no better than the Saas Bahu shows...I can understand that you're an AR shipper...from the way you've highlighted it in your post 😆 I'm not going into that, though.
You will have a lot of support from AR fans regarding this, but I'm posting from a neutral POV. 😳
AR's love did become the mainstay of the show, despite it starting off as being about friends and relationships...not that I minded it. Howerever the CVs themselves ruined their show. And now they have nothing else to do rather than watch it go from bad to worse.
The problem started with Riddhima's misunderstanding, and then Shashank's blunder. He made the mistake of taking the matter into his own hands and deciding his daughter's fate, leading to all this confusion.
The CV's have most probably forgotten what their show was originally about. I never expected Riddhima to become the husband-worshipping types, frankly. 😡 And even when she stopped stooping down to clean his shoes, she's stopped listening and thinking clearly.
I would have preferred that she thinks, at least...but she doesn't. She has shut down her mind completely and accepted the fact that she is married to Sid and will have to remain so for the rest of her life. Perhaps she thinks that she's tainted, which isn't too wierd, given the way she was treated and coerced into the marriage by her parents and society. But that doesn't change the fact that she loves Armaan. 😡
If the CVs had shown her falling in love with Sid, I would have accepted it, but they didn't. What they showed were small moments, mostly initiated by Sid...nothing by Riddhima. 😕 So why, till today, she still remains confused regarding whom to choose is a mystery.
Maybe the CVs are trying to strike a chord with the audience, to make us feel RIddhima's pain in choosing, but the fact is that we're so fed up we've lost interest. I'm trying to find justification, I know...but I just need a reason to believe all this. 😆
It is not a question of AR or SR, it is a question of what a mockery they are making of human values and the institution of marriage. 😡
Love is supposed to be eternal, unconditional...look at what they made of it! 😡
Marriage is supposed to be based on love and trust, and not have both partners at each other's throats all the time! 😡
I wish they would end the show...ship Riddhima off to a mental asylum, and get some good girls for Armaan and Sid. Frankly, they would be much happier that way. Period.
Mine is a neutral POV, so please, no bashing...I am neither from the AR camp nor from the SR camp. 😳

thanks Khusboo...loved ur neutral POV and I agree, they have made a mockery of relationships, human feelings and marriage right now. If in the end true love triumphs, I might be able to forgive all their crazy plots and sub plots. It's good to see Ridz finally take a stand right now- let' s see how long that lasts

thanks khalida. I think the Cvs are trying to be greedy here and just looking at # of fans rather than what they are showing😕

Someone please mail this to the CVs. They are in dire need of some guidance or they will ruin DMG completely.
