hey.... thanks... well it was all the in the mind, and it was that phase of DMG, that cannot be forgtten even if one wants to!!! and like you rightly worded it.... the creatives are "caught in a quagmire of their own making'- its very obvious that the first time they tried they made an earnest effort to make it look real, natural and intense and thats the reason why it touched so many hearts- every girl who watched the show wanted to be Riddhima- and each one started looking for an Armaan in their lives- but that was a phase- an era in itself!!! it had to end one day... and its sad, the way it did though... and what i am confused about is, the fact that i dont know if i should feel sorry for or applaud the creatives for their effort to recreate the entire magic- last time it came dil se, this time its more out of arrogance, that, as though they want to prove to the world, that if they could create Armaan once, they could do it all over again!!! well yes, they could, but they cant , pardon me if i sound like one of those Karan struck fans.... recreate Armaan, cos the touches Karan added to Armaan were what made Armaan come to life, having met the guy personally it is very easy to say how much of karan he put into Armaan- its only a pity, armaan'ness didnt rub off onto his real llife!!! ofcourse i am no one to say that for him!!!
and you are right when you say, they must have had to visit hell and return from it to save DMG, when he was around!! he was good for DMG only on the face of it, inside it, he gave shudders to those that really made it happen!!! and take it from me, its no easy task to put up a show, when your actors do not cooperate!!

That my girl, was awesome! Must have taken some time to pen down but bang on... what better way to gain acceptance than making the protagonist suffer and Ridhima's charcter lends its beautifully to this given its fickleness and various hang-ups... except that with Armaan and Ridhima and the story that they wove in the initial days, the Creatives created something magical that touched a lot of cords irrespective of age... and you cant always repeat it! They're caught in a quagmire of their own making - they created something beautiful and to resurrect something on the ashes of that is a difficult task.. all the best to them...
Which just makes me wonder...and this is just a thought not a criticism.....given the Armaan-mania that generally prevails and the devoted following that AR had, KSG must have really upset them terriblyfor both the production house and the channel to steer clear of him in spite of the audience pressure to bring him back...no one wants to give up the goose that lays the golden egg... though I notice they've kept options open by not killing Armaan!
