i was reading the innumerous posts made on how everyone hates Riddhima now, and how she can be so mean, and suddenly a thought struck me!! all of us have fallen prey to the trap the creatives have laid out... seriously guys.... not clear? okay lemme explain..... cut to 2007 december...... basket ball match, where there is a bet between the boys and the girls and the boys win, and armaan is about to kiss Riddhima and he back of at the last minute .... uses the line " main airi gairi cheezon ko mooh nahi lagata".... everyone turns against Armaan on the show... why? no guy is allowed to treat a girl like this... but three days later what happens???? Rids vs. Armaan 1-0 AR are travelling together in the same car, and the car breaks down- Armaan asks Riddhima to sleep in the back seat, and on realising she is feeling cold wants to cover her with a blanket- but what happens, Rids jaaneman decides to call Armaan names for trying to take advantage of her!!! Armaan vents out! tables turn!!! you hate Riddhima!!! how could she behave the way she did, couldnt she see how much Armaan loved her- Armaan vs. Riddhima 1-1 for days after that we see a puppy faced Armaan who is hurt, hurting, continues to hurt, until he takes part in the race, the anger forgotten decides to find out if the woman he loves would support him or his arch rival the bike race ... awww..... how could someone love some so much..... another one in Armaan's favor A vs. R 2-1 Race happens, Riddhima shows no interest, but keeps tab over the phone, and on learning he has met with an accident, runs to the spot, in time to save her beloved, she may not say it in as many words as him, but yes, she did love him too..... R vs. A 2-2 then followed the much awaited confession, where he is hurt, and she comes to heal his wound- she says she hates but, but he still says he loves her- he implores her requests her pleads with her to accept she loves him, she denies it, finally admits it!!! i hate you, but i love you, i hate you, i love you, i hate you, i love you- i love you!!! Indian TV had never ever seen a confession so raw, so beautiful, so intense ever before!!! AR we hate to admit it.... but we love you too... but even there, somehow armaan takes the cake, for being the man, who stood by the fact from day one, that he loved her, and wants to now share this with the whole world, cos, he wants all and sundry to know he, Armaan mallik had finally found his true love- but riddhima here is hesitant, understandable, but the fans think, how could she not see it???? i mean its Armaan after all... how could you have doubts on that account.... A vs. R 3-2 rids gets him the DMG photo frame A vs R 3-3 Armaan gives her the pushtaina kada 4-3 he comes to her house, on realising she is alone, awkward moments follow, but he leaves- just when you think Riddhima scored being the adarsh hindustani naari, you realise he had surpassed her leagues before, by getting her a salwar suit in the first place and he never really meant harm ... A vs. R 5-3 armaan decides to help muskaan, he lies to Riddhima- blunder number one- but even then most people think, he never meant harm though he was inviting trouble for sure, chalo lets give this one to Riddhima 5-4 valentine's he becomes the cute pizza boy enters the girls house to be with his love - aww so endearing 6-4 she gets him comics cos he loves that about her 6-5 he surpasses her once more by getting her payals and kissing her feet- declaring total self surrender to her... ( that is by far my most favorite scene) 7-5 Riddhima doesnt want anyone to know about them- but Armaan cant wait anylonger- this doesnt happen generally with girls, its vice versa- he gives her an ultimatum- 8-5 the party happens- riddhima sits, thinks, decides, makes up her mind finally to declare it to the world- a big thing for her considering her insecurities 8-6 Riddhima feels wronged when she comes to know Armaan had hidden all of the Muskaan drama from her . alright alright 8-7 but despite that, one cant help but feel bad for armaan as he walks away, when she is cold and brutal and she says, if you are so sick of me, why dont you jusst go away, as he tells her he is sick of hiding things from the world, sick of changing for her and that she doesnt get it- damn woman!! she just doesnt get it- she asks Armaan to leave, and he decides he will go, not for himself, but for her sake- this man, surely know how to not fall but rise in love- 9-7 Riddhima was right in her place, she was just putting forth her insecurities, because she couldnt handle a man who could love her that way, and she never understand his way of showing it, and like she herself puts it, when someone falls, helping them stand up is help, but when someone falls if you also fall with them, thats not called help! brutal, and blunt, but true- you get her sentiments, but not in totality- chalo, ups and downs happen in a relationship, we give it to her this time 8-9 in her favor armaan goes away, everyone is worried, rahul goes to get him he doesnt come back, riddhima finally goes- yes she loved him too and she didnt want to see him in pain, and she herself didnt want to live with the guilt that she sent someone like him away after all, like armaan himself put it in one of the episodes much later ... tum ho toh main hoon, tum nahi toh kuch bhi nahi.... Armaan sed, it ZRiddhima didnt, but, the fact she went was an indication of the same.... she goes ... its 9-9 now! but when Armaan is ready to take her back- she shoots back at him- she says, you are just a friend... WTF!! is what Armaan says and along with him we also sing in chorus!! dont so this to him... 10-9 in Armaan's favor.... he comes back, only for her sake 11-9 he returns, but he is cold with her, he is learning to live without her, and the only way he knows to do it is, by being rude and harsh to her and showing her she has been mean to him and he is hurting from it-the way he does it is mean, but to a large extent understanding cos of what she put him thro 12-9 once he is back, he starts playing pranks on her like he did earlier - we all know, why he chooses this path, he knows he cant live without her, but there had to be some way to be around her... he decides he wants to become the purana waala armaan... 13-9
Holi follows- he is worried about her- wants to make sure she doesnt make a fool outta herself- he decides to take her safely back home 14-9
She on the otherhand uses the drunk state to openly declare what she feels for him 10-14
He takes her inside and puts her off to sleep 15-10 for being such a darling
In return she confesses she still loves him and cant live without him ... finally .... 11-15
Armaan is thrilled, wants to jump, laugh cry, fit in all the emotions of this world into one small heart- cos things to him are now back to normal finally.
Riddhima accuses armaan of bhang instead- crack!! Dont we all hate Riddhima 16-11
Armaan wants to know whats wrong with Riddhima, he is confused with her behaviour- wasn't it just the earlier day that she had confessed she loved him, and today she was blindly accusing him of doing something he hadn't even done- without thinking 17-11
When she was not as drunk as he thought she was and remembered that she had confessed her feelings for him, wasn't she sombre enough to remember he was the one who had stopped her from behaving like a fool in front of all??? Hate her hate her.... 18- 11
Armaan leaves, and she says, there was no one way she could send him away, as realised both of them are not meant to be together-fine she had her reasons 12-18
Armaan turns into this cold, unyielding, rude man- understandable once more 19-12
Riddhima cant take it- serves her right say some ! 20-12
Poor thing say others... 13-20
She cant handle her armaan behaving this way- she decides to bring him back to normal- 14-20
She organises a kick boxing competition for his sake 15-20
When the champion hurts Riddhima Armaan's blood boils 21-15
Then follows the bike racing championship 16-21
At the race when they fall Armaan is more worried about riddhima than himself 22-16
Armaan comes to bandage Riddhima's wound 23-16
Then follows the basketball match 17-23
Armaan challenges Riddhima to a dance, and she takes it 18-23
Moments follow lets give this to the two of them 19-24
They go to lonavala as they are punished- boys miss the girls-armaan goes there dressed as a girl- 25-19
Moments follow-here we'll give it to the two of them once more 26-20
Riddhima is kidnapped- stupidlity on armaan's part 21-26
Riddhima goes with the goons with the confidence tht it is armaan 22-26
Armaan on learning they were real goons fgoes to find her 27-22
He saves her and brings her back 28-22
Riddhima leaves with a letter saying they aren't meant to be- she has made her stand clear 23-28
Riddhima returns and Armaan who doesnt want to offend her but realises he doesnt want to stay away from her comes up with a new plan- no pranks no shaitani, only dosti nibhani 24-29
Padma shashank's wedding: again a series of moments : give it to both of them 25-30
then comes the joota chupayi moment, where she see's he still loves her, he has treasured all her memories with him and not only that, he carried it where ever he goes-this time even Riddhima is forced to give this one to Armaan 31-25
Armaan is stupid enough to take up the bet of walking the parapet wall 26-31
Riddhima comes running to him to tell him not to do it-he pays no heed-when he falls she is the first one to run to his rescue 27-31
She runs into her room crying to herself, admitting for the first time why she cant be around him, as to why his gross carelessness is the sole reason why she wants to stay away from him though she loved him so much! Must admit! Wah for the first time after over a year for clearing the air for us 28-31
They are back, after all the tension, finally she melts in his arms and the fire escape moment happens- 29-32
Just when you think it will be back to being normal-she backs out- and Armaan feels helpless and furious once more-we hate her even more now! 33-29
Armaan leaves this time, to go away from her- serves her right we all think 34-29
The discussion happens and Riddhima realises Armaan is all and more than what she always wanted 30-34
She goes all the way once more to get him 31-34
Armaan is rude but this time she is determined 32-34
She makes him confess and admit to his feelings 33-34
They are back, romance blossoms-and then comes a day when shashank spots them on the terrace- armaan is scared and to save the scene lies- but we still understand him as he has a reason for it 35-33
She is upset with him this time- for not telling her father the truth- was she the same woman who once got angry with him cos he wanted to tell the whole world? She is one confused soul- we hate it when she lectures him and says, arrman what you did was wrong- logically she might be but armaan never really meant harm, he was just hopelessly in love and wanted not to offend it! 36-33
I am sure you are all as tired as i am by now, but what i wanted to say thro this loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggg post was!!! We must realise this is a ploy on the part of the creatives... we all grew to love Armaan, only cos, we hated Riddhima at different stages of armaan's life- same the case now as well, if you make Riddhima the cold and rude, snooty rude bitch, one would automatically start feeling bad for sid, and after all this, if sid happens to fall in love with Riddhima , one would automatically start feeling bad for sid and appreciating what he feels for her........... are you with me???? So guys, the more you hate her, the more successful the creatives are in trying to get the point across!!! These creatives have a very endearing way of making the most ugly and weird things look beautiful!! Then you imagine their knack when it comes to beautiful and emotional moments! Good day!
