you always hit the nail on the coffin! and the way you phrase it makes the entire situation so real and easy to understand! like seriously, i never really got where Riddhima was coming from either- and absolutely hated the fact that she would keep tormenting Armaan onky cos she couldnt make up her mind as to what she felt for them! then came a terrace scene where she expressed her concerns and made it clear to the world, that though she loved him, she didnt want to allow him to hurt her-she made sense to me, but after that what we saw was selfless, mad, eternal love as though only death could do them apart, and yes, death did try to do them apart, only to make Riddima survive the fated accident!

i didnt know Armans leaving her would turn her into a mad wreck- the irresistable AR romance was thanks to the fact that Riddhima knew she couldnt stand this guy,yet she couldnt do without him- does that mean, she will now set out to destroy all such men she cant stand? would sid ever bother to talk to her, if she wouldnt be the one provoking him at every stage- like how old is she? shouldnt the break up have made her more sombre? shouldnt it have made her a better person??? anyway, i am sorry, i forgot we were talking about Riddhima! and no matter how horrible, Riddhima is Armaan always loved Riddhima, cos he didnt care how she was- so sadly today since tehre is no Armaan, Sid will take his place, and she will yet again put an innocent man through an ordeal he doesnt desrve ony to sooth her ego!

Nice post! Well what can I say about Riddhima - she is one confused and delirious woman. When I read the update about her accusing Sid of molesting her I was not really shocked, it's nothing new about her jumping to conclusion without knowing the fact is it? She is ALWAYS right and everyone around her is wrong! She has an habit of accusing people, we only have to look at the 2008 holli episode and the bangh fiasco!

Now come to think of it I don't really know what Armaan saw in her! After what humiliation Armaan went through just to be accepted by her father, how can she just take it as a face value that Armaan left her! Is she for real?

I really don't know what the CV are trying to do with her character!

Thanks for a great post!

I guess her stuborness and attitude was what attracted Armaan to her... the fact that there were some really nice facets to her, the fact that she couldn't care less about Armaan and the fact that she gve him attitude when she first met him - which guy can resist that challenge?

As for the CVs, the less said the better! I think they keep forgetting that they started being different from Ektaa and slip, hen remember and try and resurrect most of what has been lost but thats the problem with a quagmire, the more ypu try to get out, the moreyou get sucked in!

You have shown Riddhima's fault and not Sid's whereas everyone is doing that.
Guys, we shouldn't forget that Tamana has already told him and even made him realize that he is like a kid and he should mature. And before Riddhima came back, Sid was attempting to mature up. But ever since they both met, Sid has been doing child like actions. He is trying his level best to mature up but is not able to due to Riddhima. If Riddhima will just loosen up and leave him alone for a while, then Sid will have the chance to his maturity. Why else do you think he passed med school? There is no way he could have reached here if he was acting like a total kid.
And let me ask, what is Riddhima achieving by doing this? She says she wants to forget Armaan, but is she really? By behaving exactly like how she did in the beginning, will she really be able to forget him? By Riddhima being all strict on Sid will just make him do things and react the same way that Armaan did. Because of which Riddhima will remember him and get even more angry at Sid.
Riddhima should let go of her anger a little and move on in life. Just by saying that I'm going to forget him won't make it happen. She should do something that will.
Time will heal everything Riddhima.
My advice to you, move on.

Thanks so much, am so glad that there are so many people who think like this , though fat lot of good it's going to do poor Sid! Lol! Ridhima is still going act like a spoilt shrew and Sid is still going to be a brat!

They're both obviously intelligent people since they made it to med school but maturity levels? That's another story though I think I will give Sid some leeway since "he didn't start the fire! It was always burning... " lol!

Hi!🤗 Wonderful to see you after a long long time!
Ridhima is actually quite a complicated. Always a little sanctimonious and supercilious, the base of her world was shattered with the discovery that she was adopted and I think her self-esteem and belief never recovered from that. And poor Armaan had to pay for the resulting lack of faith and belief in relationships and the deep rooted fear of the transient nature of love, affection and similar bonds.
While her fears and insecurity and the resultant treatment of Armaan bothered me, I could still understand that. Not only did she have her own demons to deal with, Armaan loved her with a passion that would frighten a girl like her. He was so unlike her in every way that I can understand her questioning the attraction between them. She was used to a gentle, indulgent, cocooning love that she got from Shashank and Nani and here was Armaan who was a bit of a Casanova and wild, and, who pursued her with a love that was tempestuous and all consuming. She irritated us with her treatment of Armaan but that was a fear that one could still rationalise. And once she gave in, she loved him with an equal intensity and like you said what followed was a beautiful, mad, passionate love story...
But with Sid, her behaviour is once again perhaps explainable but inexcusable.. she's venting her frustration on Sid and what compounds the error this time is that she is blatantly using her father's and her position as a senior doctor to do this... and what irks me is the sympathy and the whole hearted support of all other senior doctors for her...why doesn't anyone see her faults? If they did, it would make this entire track a little more tolerable!
Or maybe, just maybe (and the thought just struck me after reading your post), she is reliving her initial days with Armaan and in some sense, punishing and rejecting Sid, and in doing so providing a salve to her bruising heart by being the one rejecting the guy!
Though 😉 I think we do a lot more thinking on this serial than the CVs do! 😆

heyyyy...... hugs!! :))

that part of Riddhima, yes was still understood, cos, she had every reason to be insecure! she will still human, cos, what she did was an outcome of what her life had done to her- but what she is doing with sid, is not what a sane person would do! people on this forum have high regards for Riddhima-just cos, she is Riddhima, the lead face of DMG! thats why it is more hurtful when your lead who other is expected to be coy, shy, simple and always the scape goat could be shown as someone who can be a pain the wrong area! (sorry for the use of language)- i had begun to understand Riddhima, i had began to relate to her, even after Armaan had lost his memory and had been treating her like crap, she stood her ground only cos, she knew this was the man who was always there for her no matter what and her love for her automatically told her she should do the same-for once she had forgotten her own worries, she had come out her little world of i, me, my self, my father, my sister and my problems- and had taken the lead in the relationship!!! coming from that high a relationship status, it is understandable that she is shattered from what turned out of the shoot out! she could want to teach Armaan and his type a lesson by treating them like shit, but that doesnt mean she should degrade herself in the process, i remember once, when Kasauti Zindagi kay had taken a leap and Prerna was shown becoming grandmom-she was shown to have become stern and strict and a non believer and wary of love- that was still understable and reasonable- but what this woman is doing, is simply demented! looks the like bullet did more harm to her brains than her spinal chord! i would be more than glad if the creatives would jusitfy in one of the later episodes that her brain was equally effected as well!!! :D

coming to the part about us thinking more than the creatives... well well.... i am sure they are paying a price for thinking so much in the first place! they have set such high standards for themselves that even a small mistake shows on screen! so now obviously they couldnt care less as long as they have an episode to put up by the end of the day!
