But yes, I agree that Riddhima is responsible... completely responsible for all that Sid is doing to her. She slapped him , insulted him , sent him to prison , accused him of molestation. Any self-respecting man will do exactly what Sid is doing. And people blindly supporting Riddzie , a la Keerti are only making Sid hate Riddzie more than ever. 🤔

I agree, you can't completely dislike her, there are sparks of much that is nice in her, much of which has been destroyed by Armaan's rejection but that's my point.
You can allow it to colour your judgment and treat all men with the same tainted brush or you can tell yourself that the man was not worth it. Though to be fair to her, the wound is still too new and too raw for her to be completely rational.
But much of her tirade against Sid is unwarranted and peppered with the confidence that she's the Dean's daughter who can get away with anything – now that's not nice!
By the way, I think you write very well.. really enjoy reading your take on the couples' interaction in every episode!

I love the way you have put across your POV in the highlighted portion. I think Riddz has come back full of bitterness and raw hostility. In a bid to teach Sid a lesson and make him respect her , she is using her arrogance and seniority - spicing it up with her prejudiced disdain for him. This is what irks and provokes Sid in being totally mean to her and that is why he consciously attacks her dignity.

Riddz is using the POWER GEARS to defeat Sid and what can she expect a man to do in return , especially if he is innocent indeed.

She is actually behaving like Elizabeth Bennet - a baseless prejudice against an innocent man simply because she believes what she wants to believe.

If you look at it , she is nice and sensible with everyone - it is only around Sid that she starts behaving like an utter retard.

P.S- I am glad you like my posts. Thank you. God bless you. 😳

Exactly. This new Riddhima doesn't behave like someone who's been through so much. She has been through one very intense relationship that ended badly. She has been through a horrific episode, needed treatment, long recuperation. Where is the sense of perspective, the seriousness, the weight that such tragedy gives a human being? 😲
She's behaving like a cross between a spoilt teenage diva who knows her father is powerful and a vengeful fury. what on earth has Sid done to deserve all this? I find it disturbing that she should be so ready to abuse her position as a senior doctor to give someone else a hard time. But then that was a problem I had with the earlier Riddhima as well - she never knew where the ethical line was! 😔
Frankly I don't like how Sid is behaving either. He's never been very mature or well behaved but Tamanna at least kept him WANTING to behave better even if she was a touch dull herself. Now the whole clash is turning too silly and I'm not liking either very much these days. 😕
I thought the CVs were going to do a nice older woman - younger man take on the Sid-Rid case. As far as I can see, both their mental ages are around 16 given her sexual pique and his aggression.

Very well said!

She comes across as an embittered, spoilt rich kid who knows dad is a big shot and as you rightly said, she is willing to abuse her position to get back at Sid for something that Armaan had done!

But she's always had this ability to look only at her perspective and she knows no matter what daddy dear will always support her. Shashank and she make this cosy pair which lives in its own cocoon oblivious to the real world. Like when Ridhima accused Armaan of getting the bhang and Shashank accepted it blindly without verifying the facts, and, when Armaan tried to protest he castigated Armaan for daring to even suggest that daughter dear was lying.

Sid has never been mature or sensible but just as love wrought a desire to change himself, unwarranted attack on his self-respect has provoked a desire to teach Ridhima a lesson which in turn has brought out the obnoxious brat in him, but to cut him some slack, he was provoked!

As for the CVs, I think they've decided any romantic track means TRP no matter how juvenile (and I must admit they've history on their side, look at how juvenile AR track got) so Armaan-Ridhima nahi to Sid-Ridhima sahi!

Actually that is really well thought of! That's the problem or the complication of the character... she believes that she is very positive and good but fails to realise that like all others she has shades of grey too... and therefore fails to accept and be more understanding of the fact that others have similar greys too.....many of her issues would be easier for her to deal with if she realises that..
