Views on Abhi/Niki/Suman scenes

After watching the Abhi/Niki/Suman scenes today I have to say that I really enjoyed the episode!!!! It was hilarious with just the right amount of hidden subtle emotion on the AN side! The funny DMG is back in full force but with this comical return Abhimanyu and Nikita's story was not set to the side…Many people were disappointed yesterday with Niki's 360^o turn of emotions, but honestly I didn't find it that strange. The thing is that Niki finally made a decision the night she decided to stay that she wouldn't run from love anymore or let Abhi get to her. And she's living by it....u'll be surprised how your life can change for the better once u make a firm decision...And with Niki's decision to no longer mope around the best way to act would be to be her bubbly, go lucky self again! This doesn't mean that she doesn't love Abhi anymore or has forgotten her heartache. On the contrary, today's episode subtly played with her emotions in many places despite the overall comical feel to the episode…

The epi started off with Abhi coming to the realization that he could get rid of Suman by pushing her onto Nikita…the pleading and demanding glances exchanged b/w the two while dealing with Suman were hilarious but also quite sweet showing that the two despite everything still understood each other enough to have a conversation without words as only those who r close to each other can…😳

The next really funny scene was how when Niki saw Abhi and Suman in the halls she quickly tried to get away b/c she knew Abhi would try to use her as a scapegoat again but by then the desperate abhi had caught sight of her! Funny how he keeps using Niki in this situation!😆

The part where Niki and Suman have their discussion was where we got to see hints of the still troubled and heartbroken Niki behind her cheerful mask…this scene b/c of the silly bg music wasn't taken that seriously and covered up the intense emotions behind Niki's words but those emotions were still there...the part where Niki's talking about how Abhi yells at her the most and stuff showed a hint of bitterness and hurt...and then when Suman says "I love him" after she says "I hate him" her shock comes I think more from having Suman repeat what's really in her heart then the fact that Suman said it...when Niki tries to say she can't help her its obvious she doesn't know how to react to someone else wanting Abhi as well...then she sounds slightly upset and lost while describing how tense things r b/w them which really shows how insecure she still feels regarding Abhi and how much she misses him.

Of course the part where she finally agrees to help Suman win Abhi is really funny...the old niki is back to haunt abhi for what he's done and to win him back in the process. 😉 I don't think she'll hurt Suman in the process, at least I hope not...I don't want any real feelings developing on Suman's side... I really hope she turns out to be smarter than she looks and picks up on the fact that there was and still is something bw the two. I would luv for Niki to accidentally give away the fact that she's in luv with Abhi or for Abhi to accidentally reveal his love which no matter how he denies is still there for Niki. Then I'd luv to watch Suman have a conversation with herself deciding that she's such a beautiful girl and can get any guy she wants so she'll let AN be together and just help them out. God I'd luv to watch her try to match make them cause anyone can tell anything she'd do would somehow go wrong and backfire but somehow still bring the 2 together!!! Maybe she should find Niki's earring which Abhi forgot to destroy in his rampage that horrible night and Niki is there too and gives away that it's hers....that would be interesting...

Then of course the last scene b/w the three…loved the part where Suman scares Abhi and makes him sit on the ground and how depressed he looks especially when niki shows up cause he knows its about to get worse!!!🤣 Then there was the little moment bw AN that if u didn't know what they had gone through u'd miss: the part where Niki says how he's not a gataya, batameez type, emphasizing those words, and won't ever leave a girl on her own and then when she says, "Right sir", the way she says it and the look the two exchange despite the lighthearted bg music being played shows the deeper meaning behind the words: the slight bitterness and deep rooted hurt on both parts... then the part where suman insists on Niki coming with them and the utter panic in Niki's face shows that there is more going on bw her and Abhi....and proves that everything that happened bw them despite her new carefree attitude is still at the forefront of her mind…she may have decided to stay and deal with Abhi but she's still not ready to be around him in close proximity without some sort of safety net...his words still sting and she is as hurt as he is...she may have admitted her feelings and decided to face them but that doesn't mean she's ready to face abhi just yet....not without something acting as a barrier bw them which is what Suman unintentionally is doing…

But the car ride was still very funny... I luved niki's pouting face in the back of the car in the beginning! she is so cute!!! like a little kid being forced to go somewhere they would rather not!

Niki pouting in the back seat, Abhi annoyed in the drivers seat, and Summan beaming at both from the front set the stage for a very amusing car ride…

Overall I really enjoyed the episode today. I luved the subtle way AN r showing that they r still upset over what happened and miss each other at least on Niki's side despite the comic setting.

It also appears that both Abhi and Niki have decided on a new approach to each other thinking that the best way to deal with one other is to pretend that there was nothing ever there....in Niki's case this is just part of her grand master plan in winning the love of her life back 😉 but for Abhi it's the first step in getting over Niki. Unfortunately for him his Niki Pehlwan is back and she's not giving up w/o a fight! 😆

Finally I hope we continue to get some funny scenes with Suman becoming good friends with both and bringing them back together again!!! I also hope we get some good scenes tomorrow where Abhi drops off Suman first and then for a few moments he and Niki are alone and share a cute romantic moment…

I don't want Suman to get hurt either which is why I hope she's smart enough to pick up on the subtle tension bw them and figure out that they love each other!

@Bold: Ives, I'm not feeling it. Maybe it's because of the bad execution with the bg. music, etc., that is hindering me, but you'd have to be reading TOO MUCH in between the lines to draw the conclusions above. Strictly on face-value, AN had no connection in today's or yesterday's episode. We know what has happened between them, but they, themselves have done nothing to show that. Now, I'm not asking for something colossal, but a few profound moments, even if minute, would at the very least add some consistency to this track, which it is severely lacking in.

And I don't think what happened between them is still on top of her thoughts, especially keeping in mind how she's been behaving these last two days. She seems more inclined on taking the mickey out of him than doing anything to reform the situation.

Other than that, yes, the scenes were fun, but only as long they are watched out-of-context do they hold any appeal. Amit and Shweta acted well, and if the fault lies anywhere, it's only with the editing and script.

Actually, it's interesting you know. Half of the AN fans are glad that things have gotten light-hearted, while the other half feel like the track has lost its intensity. Let's see how it'll pan out eventually.

Oh well...I only watched the show once and didn't think i was reading too deeply into it when I noticed those subtle moments but I guess everyone sees things differently...hopefully tomorrow we'll get a really cute scene in the car with AN that may pull the track back together again for u!
