Well Ivy, I just rewatched the episode all over again just to see what am I missing here.......

Got to admit that the scenes were all perfect if you look at it without the previous night explosive meeting of AN...... They were all too good......I enjoyed watching it like how it was when AN were when they started off in the beginning of their relationship with their bickering and playing games with each other.(especially from Nikki's angle) ..... Abhi is still able to portray his annoyance and angst much better .........

Nikki talking to Suman about her khadoos Boss "kitna tang karta" hai..... or even when Suman was talking about "is liye mujhe pyar hua hai" and Nikki retorts with a light comic "Exactly" even though it meant she too is in love with Abhi., the whole impact of it all was taken away by the lightness... ..... The whole scene was so so right, Nikki and Suman having a talk about their feelings about the same guy, Nikki's pain of his troubling her.... her realisation of the fact that someone else is now vying for his attention.. Abhi not being around for Nikki to be on her guard....... However, I only felt the right hidden words were being said and not emoted...I am not saying that she should have done something dramatic or profound, all I am saying that the depth of that beautiful scene was lost in the comedy.... It looked perfect for Nikki who wants to get back at her Boss who is troubling her and not for Nikki, who has been badly hurt by the man she loves and wants to hit back at him to make him realise his folly of rejecting her...... Their relationship is no more just simple light "tang karta" anymore which can be resolved with simple fun games by throwing nerdy Suman at him.......... Its a fiery love which has been pained by accusation and no matter how much one tries to hide it, the needle will always pierce, in such moments........

Even the car scene, I enjoyed it completely as a comic light banter between them..........It was really good fun. Even when Nikki was trying to send the message across the "Badtameez, Ghatiya" etc to Abhi it was a good exchange between the two......However have to say again the depth was missing from her side.....She is definitely capable of more....Nikki has such expressiive eyes and she brings out her feelings best with them........If her eyes had the right amount of intensity accompanied by a taunting smirk of her face, I wld have said she is bang on target......taunting him, hitting him right and getting even with him.
Even before the boxing match, when she had accused him of being a "gira hua insaan" she did it so well or even when she confronts him for removing her from the project or even after that when he finds her in his cabin searching for her certificates, she was able to portray her attempt to mask her pain and yet "I'm in control, not going to show you how much it hurts" both so very effectively then .... There was so much depth in them.... Maybe our expectations have gone high after watching such beautiful scenes of theirs.....

Personally I like the Suman factor because she is the only one that can be an icebreaker between them. The scenes are also well written...But somehow unhappy with the execution right now....Lets see how it goes further......I think we need to just put AN's past relationship at the back of our minds and watch their future scenes as a new relationship developing between them.

Sorry to sound like a damp squib....... but its just the fear that these are signs that AN's beautiful track is gonna be messed up by slapstick comedy. The scenes are going according to what we want but the execution is definitely lacking......

I really, REALLY hope this doesn't become the case, Mich. I'd rather not turn off my brain to watch AN, and Amit/Shweta don't deserve that because of how good they are.

Didn't Abhi accuse her of playing "games" at the 8PM meeting? You'd think the last thing Nikki would now do is exactly that, but alas...

I don't know, but all I see is N going down the same road again. What if this whole thing blows up in her own face? Like Anisha said earlier today, 'one bitten, twice shy' hasn't really gone through Nikki's head, because she doesn't seem to have taken any heed.

And inspite of the divided opinions , I stick to what you say and I also feel. A whole graph of the emotion called 'Love' is being explored with the AN story. They have been through it all - the cutness, the mischief , the battle of the sexes and egos, the shyness , the embarassment, the pain , the fury , the intensity , the passion , the anger and the amusement..... but there situations and egos are such that they still cannot come together.. with Abhi on his horse of hurt pride and mistrust... and Nikita too dishonoured and warned aaginst to put her arms around him....

So, what do we do in chemistry? We use a CATALYST to speed up the reaction between two chemicals... Suman , Abhi and Niks fir the bill fabulously that way.

The problem is that we have seen such fire between the two that it is difficult to accept this change of behaviour and temperament. But human beings are human beings.... they are weird beings... they go througha plethora of emotions and react as per their understanding...

Suman is necessary.... because Abhi-Nikita are refusing to see each other's points now even though desperately in love.....

What do you do when there is a deep abyss between two mountains?

Yeah, me no thinks Suman was necessary. Rather than a character, different situations could have served as that much needed catalyst.

We are individuals and we have our own approaches and attitudes towards everything and everyone. So, obviously, we cannot be standing at the same side of the fence all the time. 🤣🤣......disagreement is good - opens new bottles for potential learning and wisdom. So, I guess we leave it that way. 😉
