Happy is not dumb - Page 2

This is what I wrote in Piu’s thread and I thought I would share it here.

Happy is not dense. It’s the people around her who possess her to become weak only in terms of making crucial decisions. RV, Sandhya and a bit of Kulwant who has more hold on her thoughts than her on herself. Until Rocky came back into her life, provoked her ego, challenged her weakness, only then we saw she uncapped herself and avidly told RV that it’s her life! I swear I was on cloud nine and so proud of her for finally putting her foot down! That’s what I missed! The true guidance in Happy’s life often sends her in a wrong way. RV, though he has good intentions to keep Happy content, but the way he approached his idea was not legitimate and he will pay for it in the most ugliest manner. Even in real life, when one babysit too much of a person, they completely becomes handicap. I think my concern was just that. Lol! But then, I knew Rocky would assemble her back! :)

Being obliged to someone doesn’t necessarily mean to understand and empathise with other person’s emotions. She didn’t feel for Chintu romantically because she didn’t have it in her. Only Rocky evokes that emotion in her.

Agreed to the points you stated that Happy has reserved herself ever since she placed her verdict to sent Rocky to jail. Have discoursed this among other groups and someone has mentioned so perfectly that despite of achieving everything in her life as a business woman, she still lacked the support, the inner strength she used to have. She couldn’t conquer the guilt of going against Rocky. She minimized herself to only her business, because she thought it was only her who can hold the responsibility of Rocky’s family, but never really had the luck to attain the happiness she once had. She has shut the doors of her heart and raised the walls of misery when she profoundly spoke how in the last three years, there wasn’t a single night she didn’t think of Rocky. Ofcourse, we knew Happy will probably be the only one and the first one who will make affirmation regarding Shaan being Rocky, but then when you talk about many people stating that she is dumb and can’t make sense, it’s only because people comparing her with her initial self. People were irked to find her constantly shouting at Rocky, misbehaving with him and accusing him for the crime and never giving him benefit of doubt like she did to RV. We know that Roha’s relationship wasn’t sturdy to begin with. Also, keeping in mind that Happy was the only one till the end who was demented in worry for speaking against Rocky. It was only after Smiley accused her for chasing away her dreams and for being a selfish sister. Only then, Happy decided to give her support to her traumatized sister, which is fair. But then, when Rocky was pleading his heart out to hear him for once, Happy refused to. I think this is why people can’t connect to her character.

However, the valid points you put out are good and I had the same thoughts before the leap took place. Happy isn’t the same Happy she used to be, but then Rocky will assemble her back and that’s all I say. :)

and it was all very nicely put!!! except for the end when you say with RV it's not the true version of happy, throughout your post and even the title of your post defends happy from those who called her dumb and what not, because you think it's just her way of dealing with different emotions, if with RV she's a calm ocean then why can't you consider it also a way of her, a silent way of her dealing with her emotions and herself when she's with RV??, I believe that's the whole point of your analysis, and that's what happy do or say and doesn't do or when she remain silent because she does what she think is right and she has her reasons, and even if she's not her true self with RV, even then she's happy still, in the light of the facts you have written in order to defend her.

The question I asked above just crossed my mind after reading your analysis.It's ok if you don't wanna explain.

And I can relate to that because I'm very overprotective about my sisters. But yes I see where you're coming from and I do agree to some extent. But then think of it this way, once they rocky and happy cross this particular obstacle, their relationship would emerge stronger. Before the leap, it was a very fragile, a very new bond. Coming back to the reply. Yes.. I firmly believed it’s the equation between Roha that will become more advance with having immense trust they couldn’t sustain and lack of discernment they earlier had will vanish into the thin air. They will escape being fragile and become durable! :DThe upcoming seems to be more intense and lots of drama coming up!

Everything is scripted only. Then, why are we discussing only then? Forums shouldn’t exist if we believe scripted is superficial. Writers take a lot of pain to write TV shows and they do have a good thought process behind it.

Gul is known to butcher her shows with idiotic vamps, garish costumes and what not!

The greatest fiasco being IPKKNd 3. But let’s hope, this show’s sanity is preserved.

Btw, I felt bad for RV too. He has crumbled into pieces and how! Everyone left him, one by one. And then, he asks, she won’t even look at him. Am I that bad? I can’t even imagine what happens when the truth is revealed. The level of betrayal Happy would feel and the helplessness RV would experience.

Here's to hoping the essence of the show lasts longer than 150 episodes :') I'm still bitter over what she did to geet. The way she attempted to redeem a rapist was just....distasteful. She wrecked a beautiful show. I guess that might be why I'm in the minority that never liked IPKKND. Because she was destroying geet while simultaneously launching a new show with very similar male and female characters.

Have watched all Gul ke shows, but never was able to finish any of them completely due to her exploring disastrous tracks and abrupt endings.

I hope this gem of a show reach good contents and popularity in the near future with high trps. This is the only show I am currently investing on so I am emotionally attached to it as well, especially Roha! :)

He probably should have thought about the consequences earlier lol! Is is just me who doesn’t have any sympathy towards him? I guess so! :p

Compare to RV’s pain, Rocky’s torment has stabbed my heart more than anything. So I can say, I am heartless to feel any of the turbulence RV might be going through.
