LOL! Indeed I am the same Mano who was obsessed with Gulaal at one point.. though I had thought to attempt to ask you the same question, but your post had me lost. :) Glad to meet you here.

I agree and I am also waiting for the day when I see the faces of evil losing the battle from their inner demons when Rocky will come out strong and prove his innocence proudly!

Hey Mano.
Here we meet again! After 8 long years precisely. Brings a lot of nostalgia from those days. I love RoHa because I love that they aren't the typical Good Looking' Mr. Darcy Knockout & Clumsy Ms. Do Gooder Couple. Rocky is childish, needs support. He is perpetually stuck to a single motive in life. He doesn't have a vision. I like this boy next door.

Yes, 8 long years!! The memories still run afresh in me because I believe I joined the forum only after I got hooked to Gulaal and wanted to gush about the episodes with the other crazy fan bunch of the couple! Crazy days were they! :)

I totally agree. I won't lie, when I first saw the clip of the serial exclusively Rocky and I be like he isn't the usual Gul's male lead which I normally fall for LOL! And then I was in major debates to myself whether I should even give it a try knowing if I like something, I completely be devoted towards it. And here I am.. loving Roha for their authenticity and Rocky for being raw, but organic. He seemed so real. :)

Gulaal forum was one of the most intelligent and mature forum which I had been a part of. Nothing really great touched my heart after that but somehow Rocky pulled me back. There are some Kesar streaks in Rocky. You'd know what I mean.

Three questions re this show, to keep this post from becoming totally off topic.

1) Why do.Rocky's mom and Biji treat Smiley, who was the one who named Rocky as the culprit, as if she were made of Dresden porcelain, whereas they hate Happy for the same "crime"?

2) Happy''s final testimony against Rocky was hardly either necessary or crucial for his conviction. Why then does everyone carry on as if she had single handedly sent him to jail?

3) Was it stated specifically that RV and Anaya are in a live in relationship?

4)Yes, one more. Did the actor who played Chintu.say that his contract was not over, and that he might somehow, in the time honoured tradition of our serials, be resurrected? That might be the best thing all round!😉

Since a pinched and inflamed nerve near the spine-neck junction keeps me flat in bed for chunks of the day, I am in no position to catch up with all the pre-50 episodes.

As for the Urmila story, surely you have the text with you. If you can, please PM.it to me, there is my good girl!

These are really good questions and if you allow me, I'll try to answer them the way I understood the situations:

1) Smiley's eyes were covered during the assault, so no one can keep her accountable for accusing Rocky. Happy, on the other hand, is befriended with RV and Mr Grover the one who accused Rocky of being a molester. Rocky's mom and Biji are fully convinced that the accusations were false. They don't doubt that Smiley is a victim, even if they did at the begging. I think that later when they saw the trauma that Smiley is still going through, they stopped denying it, but they trust Rocky that someone hit his head and lost consciousness and framed him. As for Happy, as long as she hangs around with RV and Mr Grover, they will continue to accuse her that she deliberately used Smiley's unfortunate situation to take revenge from Rocky and send him to jail.

2) Happy's final testimony was not necessary, but it did contribute to give Rocky the hardest sentence for such an act: 10 years of imprisonment. She made it clear that he deserves no mercy: once she showed him mercy and he used it to backstab her and attack her sister... so he is nothing but a recidivist who should be kept away from so society as long possible.

3) They showed RV and Anaya were sharing the same bedroom. I thought that they were actually married at the beginning.

4) Maybe Chintu will come back from time to time as a ghost as he did before.

But I was not kidding, Piu! I would really like to send you one that you particularly like, provided of course that you live in India, which, if you wear only sarees to work, seems likely to me. So did I - wear only sarees to work, I mean, and that included all the diplomatic events, receptions and dinners - for all of 38 years in the IFS. Some of the Western ambassadors used to keep track to see if I was repeating them!😆 Think it over and let me know.

Since you were so thoughtful the last time around, I propose to take advantage of that 😉and send you four more questions. I hope these will be my last ones!

1) Why does Rajveer pick on Smiley for his kidnap and assault plan? Don't they know each other from before?

What a creep he must be!😡 So was Rocky, come to think of it, if he got Bhatia to accuse Happy's mother of immoral trafficking and get her thrown out of her brother in law's house. I am glad I missed all those ugly parts. What remains is bad enough!

2) It seems to me that Biji and Rocky's mother could never have liked Happy, and now they hate her virulently. Why then do Happy and her mother continue to live in the Khoslas' house?

2) Was there a Temple View Hotel belonging to the Khosla family even earlier, ie it was not built to fulfil Chintu's dream, but was only upgraded? I saw somewhere that Chintu had left 50% of the hotel shares to Happy, which would mean that it was there already.

3) If half the shares were left to Happy, how come Shaan, simply by paying off the Bhatias and acquiring their investments in the hotel, has become the sole owner? What about Happy's shares?
