There have been shows on Indian TV (rare though) which do justice to their theme, which show strong women fighting for their or even others rights, which handle sensitive issues sensibly, and which don't drift from their original story. Obviously they don't get viewership because they are usually not melodramatic. There are very few shows which are content driven and still successful, in terms of TRPs..

Most of the shows ruling ratings chart show women endlessly suffering as you mentioned. And considering that women form a major section of viewers, its a big question why such tracks get good response from TRP viewers 😕 Probably most of them look at TV just as entertainment, they don't use their brains while watching shows, so its only drama that matters to them. It doesn't matter to them whether the show is sending a right message out there.. Probably they relate to non ending sufferings of TV bahus, probably it gives them sadistic pleasure to watch other fellow women suffering just like they do! 😕

Its a chicken and egg kind of situation that good shows are made once in a while because they don't get ratings, and viewers don't get to watch shows with good content because such shows are rare. Particularly for this show, even if we consider that the makers and the channel want to make money, still what they are showing is disgust in the name of entertainment. They seem to be ignoring all laws, morals, ethics in their quest to keep the show running. Worst part is the whole bunch including the channel, the PH, and the actors justify it and promote it!!

Their hearts and minds are made up of the same flesh and blood like men! The makers shud have shown this track with shorvari falling for another guy and parth feeling like a hopeless man..and his family helplessly looking at what a unwanted piece of shit their heir has become...and in their quest for a heir what a mess they made of their own son'a life...this would bave been such a fresh concept u know😆
