Had PaRi and Teni could have realised the complications involving the process; they could have given a rethinking. But PaRi's helplessness and Teni's ambition, fettered them together for a certain period.
None of the characters in the show have got a larger than life image. They are human of ordinary characteristics. Perhaps the cvs intend to showcase the side effects of surrogacy through the growing misunderstandings between the couple and the surrogate. Apparently, Makers want to highlight, Surrogate as an individual with her own ambitions likes and dislikes. Hence the party borrowing her womb, has got to treat her with sensitivity and utmost care. Giving impetus to her individualism, expecting within limits.
Modest PaRi suddenly find themselves in a delicate situation. The reason being Aman and Teni relationship. PaRi are in doldrums. Due to their possessiveness for the child, they are getting misunderstood as selfish. They are exactly behaving like an ordinary couple. In their concern for the child, they have turned oblivious of the surrogate's personal life..
Memories are short! A single unpleasant behaviour is capable of wiping out all the goodness . Similar is with PaRi. All their sensibility and support towards Teni got erased for their objection on Aman Teni partnership. For parents their child is most precious hence issue involved is of greatest importance. As expecting Parents, for PaRi the prime concern is their child. Undermining the surrogate's future they seem to be overengaged in retaining Teni as a single woman until the birth of the baby.
If we could observe the changing equations in the relationship, we can find that the story, very recently has found its direction. The dilchasp rishta incorporates emotions of love, trust, care, acrimony, resentment and of course friendship.

Very well said...👏 👍🏼

Joking aside, it's obviously that in this forum any kind of criticism is forbidden when it comes to Shorvori or Parth, one gets almost the impression these two are two saints... and Teni, Teni is only the surrogate mother and until handing over the child, she has to do what her customers demand from her because she will be paid for this pregnancy of course... and everything what Parth&Shorvori does for Teni, they are actually doing for their child, this has been emphasized already several times by PaRians itself... but never mind, there's no more need to bash Teni's fans... as for me, I got it Buddy...

Really?? Go and count the number of posts opened only for bashing PaRi!!

Whatever you have written applies to you as well. We have several times said that all three of them are at fault and at the same time right in their own point of view. But, I don't remember a single occasion where you have accepted that Teni also has done anything wrong.

Teni's faults surely can't be overlooked just because she is surrogate mother. I would rather prefer to treat her as a human being with faults, than treating her as some Goddess. Women deserve to be treated more as human being than either Goddesses or totally unwanted things.

Criticism is ofcourse accepted here, but as PaRi fans, we will always defend Shorvari. Why shouldn't she be defended when she is partially blamed for everything? You're against surrogacy, you've made it a point here. You always taunt Shorvari alone in this surrogacy deal, that she is paying Teni for renting her womb which is why she has all the rights to do whatever she wants to do with Teni. Which is where the need for defending her comes. Shorvari chose surrogacy out of family pressure. She never wanted to insult another women by renting her womb for the price of money nor she chose Teni herself for her own selfish purposes. Parth chose her and till date he has asked his wife to trust him on this choice of his. But I don't see you mentioning anything on Parth's attitude over this surrogacy issue.

Shorvari isn't a saint, we accept that. If she was anything near a saint, she wouldn't have forced Parth to sleep with Teni, an outrageous obligation which she forced Parth into without his mutual consent. If at all the roles had been reversed women fans would have burnt Parth alive. Shorvari was very selfish and inhumane. We (as in PaRi fans) all agree with that completely without any denial.

At the same time, we also want to see the same kinda acceptances from you that Teni isn't a saint either. She didn't accept for this surrogacy deal out of her pity for PaRi or generosity. She is money minded and she agreed to do this only for money. And now also she is accepting to marry Aman for similar reasons as well. I don't think she's having any kinds of feelings for Aman as of now. Shorvari assuming that Teni would never fall for Aman could've been wrong, but she had all the rights to ask him leave their house as his presence was bringing new complications into their lives. But one thing needs to be understood here, that she isn't doing this to spoil Teni's life but to manage the situation before it can get any more complicated.

And I for one know something very clearly, if PaTe had indeed slept that fateful day and Teni had got pregnant with that, many people including you, would have been against Aman pursuing Teni all this while as Teni is pregnant with her and Parth's kid and AmNi relationship would have been ridiculous. As far as I've seen your earlier posts, before Aman entered the picture or If I must say ever since you believed that he is sincere in his love for Teni, shorvari should get lost, leaving path for PaTe union. And this double standard is what makes us get over protective of Shorvari on many occasions.

Hey Kavyarora@ Welcome to IF, and Dsdt forum!

No serious issues here😊. Being cool only. It's a fiction and these are reel characters after all. But the comment on criticism is forbidden part hurt me. It was for the fans like us.

We have had major difference of opinions but never do we treat the opposites like some unwelcome people in this forum. Thus had to reply our side of defence.

Hey everyone!
So this is my first post in this forum. I started watching this show basically because it was Sidharth's comeback show and I loved him as Shiv in Balika.. However 1 episode in, and I realised that this show was not for me because it was far too melodramatic and OTT, with no hint of subtlety...I couldn't connect to the characters of Parth & Shorvori because according to me these two characters are spineless . They put up with a lot of crap and insult just to get the family's acceptance (the family wasn't worth it at all tbh). They also went for surrogacy ONLY because they wanted to give the family their biological heir (which again, would strengthen their position in the family) so the kid was their only ticket to the Bhanushali fam..Last nail in the coffin was when Shorvori forced Parth to sleep with Teni..for me that is unacceptable...If a husband did that to his wife, we all know how people would react to that...For me that was not sacrifice on her part, but her desperation to get accepted by the family.

Now enter, Teni...a young vivacious, free spirited, bindaas, and money-minded girl who has trust issues because of the times she has been cheated on in her life...and I fell for her right away...I mean this character actually annoyed the hell out of me in the in the initial promos with her loud acting... However once the show started , she became the only reason I tuned in to watch this show because for me, other than Teni, this show had nothing interesting to offer...I mean just look at this girl...She is one of the most unique female leads on Indian tv... She's greedy, does everything for money, is blunt and unrefined, loves her 'daaru'...and yet she carries a heart of gold.

All said and done, I kinda do admire the relationship that these 3 characters share...it's unique and interesting...it's another thing that I don't really think Parth & Shor actually care for Teni as an individual, it's all about their baby for them, which is again fair I guess since they are paying a truck load of money to Teni to be their surrogate...

Now coming to the topic, I've read the replies in this thread, and I have a problem with one particular point that has been raised : the fact that Shorvori has the right to ask Aman to leave the house since it's HER house.

I think differently . Shorvori has NO right to ask Aman to leave the house because of the following reasons :
1. They live in a joint family and the house belongs to Dada ji
2. Aman is the adopted son of the family . He was adopted by dadaji and by that logic he has equal rights on that house as a member of that family. If anyone has any right to ask Aman to leave, it's dadaji alone.. because he was the one who adopted Aman and the house belongs to HIM.
3. A few months ago Shorvori herself was struggling for acceptance as the 'bahu' of the family and was treated like a nobody by the family she is so desperate to please..so how does she get the right to ask the adopted son of the house to leave?

I understand Parth & Shorvori's insecurity regarding their baby...but they need to understand that Teni's life is her business...they can't interfere in her personal life...they need to understand that Teni has all the right to seek for a partner ...Her marrying Aman has nothing to do with their baby's future. She will give back the baby to it's parents once it's born... Teni's personal life doesn't need to be compromised with just because she carries their child in her womb ..She is fulfilling her commitment and can continue to do so even if she does get married to Aman while she's pregnant.. There's literally no reason to interfere in her personal life imo as long as she's fulfilling her commitment.

Hey, welcome to the forum!

Yes, Teni has every right to take decision about her own life and PaRi don't have any rights to interfere in her life as long as she is fulfilling her commitment. But for that Teni needs to talk to Parth and Shorvori first and make it clear what she wants. Here the situation is more complicated because Aman is related to Parth's family, and Parth doesn't believe in him enough to let him know about the secret of surrogacy. In case you hadn't seen it, Parth himself had said it once to Shorvori that Teni has her own life and she can live it on her own terms. But in this case, it isn't going to be that simple because Aman (and the whole family) neither knows Teni's real identity, nor the surrogacy truth. Parth and Shorvori here are more worried about the truth getting exposed than their baby IMO, because it if gets exposed, it will put both of them as well as Teni in bad light. I don't think Teni has even thought about that, she has taken the decision to stop Aman kinda impulsively.

@ TM- Even I like Teni-Aman jodi but we should not forget the main concept of the show. It is about the dilchasp rishta of the three main leads and I wish it remains the same till the end. At first when Shorvari asked Aman to leave even I felt bad. But when we think about it Shorvari is right on her part. They are trusting the life of their unborn child with a stranger and it is quite natural for them to worry about it. Any normal parents will be worried about their kid and we can't blame them for that.
On the other hand, Teni as an individual has every right t live her life the way she wants. How many time Parth got irritated when Teni came barging into their room and disturbing their 'romance'? What PaRi fails to understand is that the same thing happen both the way around. So it was partially wrong on Shorvari's part to go behind Teni's back and ask Aman to leave. It is only going to complicate the matters further.
So the best thing to do is say the truth to Aman and let him decide what he wants to do. As far as I understood, Aman is a good guy and will never backstab PaRi. Even if he object the whole thing he will never reveal their truth in front of the family. Aman is a valuable ally and it will be good to keep him with them.
It is useless to fight over such things because the show is not about romance. It's about surrogacy. PaRi & Teni-Aman as couples come only secondary in the plot. So there's no use of fighting about the importance of couples and creating fan wars. Let's all just discuss things in a mature and friendly manner without mocking anyone or any character.
