There's a common belief that human life consists of 62% of sorrow and 38% of happiness. This signifies that we humans are lacking in some or the other aspects of life. No one's life is perfect.
God blessed celebrities like Kjo with immense booty which will be relished by his posterity..
But in contrast to the bounty he gave him a small heart, otherwise a multi millionare celeb like Kjo could have gone for adoption henceforth shaping the life of someone not so fortunate. He should have drawn a leaf from his Co actor , Sushmita Sen, a proud mother of two gifted daughters through adoption.
Really admire Sushmita Sen, in true sense she is Miss Universe.

An article that gives small insight into the surrogacy bill passed by Indian government, in reference to KJo's news

When I read headline for that news, the first thing that came to my mind was, did Karan Johar go for adopting babies. It is an obvious thought that will come to anyone's mind, why did a celebrity like him did not go for adoption all these years if he was so keen to have kids without getting into marital relationship.

I think it is up to individual choice whether they go for adoption or seek for biological child. The craving for biological child come through human desires of seeing our own replicas, IMO. And it definitely takes a big heart and a lot of guts to accept someone else's child as your own and give him/her a place in your life as your own!! While there are examples of celebrities like Sushmita Sen and Raveena Tandon who had big heart to adopt kids even before marriage, there are also others like Shahrukh Khan, Tushar Kapoor and now Karan Johar who opted for surrogacy to have biological child.

Well the reason i mentioned it that way was, I read in an article on UK based surrogacy, while I was surfing on this issue the other day, that most of the children who are given birth by surrogate mothers fall into an emotional depression mode, coz they tend to feel a complex that they don't belong to their parents biologically, and start considering their parents in the sense of adoptive parents. In this process the kids will eventually distance him/herself from their parents.., which is what I read. So hypothetically speaking the parents happiness of having their kid could be a temporary one...

@bold, I had never thought it that way. Its a totally different perspective. Is it possible to share the link for the article that you mentioned about, Sudha?

I am not sure if parents should avoid telling the truth to kids as a solution to this problem, because there is always a risk that they will come to know about the reality from other sources. I think as discussed earlier, it depends a lot on upbringing, irrespective of the kid being adopted, born through surrogacy to a couple or an individual.

Kjo SRS Ak being popular faces could have led the people by their own examples and in this way, contributed substantially in the effort of building up a better society. Their contest that charitable institutions run by them, is sufficient to list their support. Money is very important but by naturing and nurturing an orphan like an own child, the rich can serve better to the society. Popular faces are expected to do such noble deeds. Great are those who have risen over their own desires, have practised nobility in their own life and worked for public interests. When they walk the talk, it's gratifying and encouraging.
With a few exceptions, the above thought will be considered as utopian.

Mostly a single man have a problem in adoption. They are not allowed to adopt considering they are single.

KJo's case is lot different from regular couples that opt for surrogacy. KJo cannot just marry a girl for sake of having his own child nor can his preference of partner give him such option. If does indeed want his own child then surrogacy is the only option for him.
