You didn't mention the physical appearance of male leads. But I did. Since you raised the question of the physical appearance of a female lead -- that was my counter argument.
Yes, physical appearances are only a part of the reason why someone falls for another. It's natural.
Correct? Raghav hasn't done anything wrong as of yet. When he finds out that she is still legally married and if he then continues to allow those emotions rather than fight them, I'd say one can point out the wrongness of it.
Thing is that Raghav is a pure-hearted character. His intentions, thus, are pure. Whatever he's allowing himself to feel for her right now is justified only because he doesn't know the truth about her legal status. Yeah, there will be heartbreak, but maybe that's the point of it all. And, mind you, this is actually quite realistic. People do fall in love like this -- and there are times when they don't even know the legal status of the other person.
One can discuss the correct message once we see how CVs make Raghav handle Jahnvi's truth. If he tries to kiss her after he's found out, then obiously -- that'd be a wrong message.
But somehow I find that this issue of a wrong message [Raghav having feelings for woman whom he doesn't know is married] is irrelevant compared to the much bigger picture :)

There seems to be no plausible reason why not one but two extremely desirable and extremely wealthy young men have fallen for Jahnavi/Sia. Of course, the first man is a husband from hell, and the second a very awkward and immature lover, although he's mature in other ways.

So, the story of SB is not a critical discourse on marital abuse but a romantic story of a bad guy and a good guy wanting the same woman.

Aya, please don't disrupt the discussion in this thread. If you have a serious argument, you are more than welcome to include it. But we're having a serious debate here and mockery isn't appreciated. I don't want to report your post, because I don't think you meant harm by your comment.

But please try to be pleasant in this thread as we're all doing the same in spite of disagreeing on some points.

Sorry, but I wasn't trying to mock at anything .
I've posted what I thought was true &+ my opinion .

... yikes! i came back after a day, and the discussion has meandered into several different directions ...

but what a joy to read everyone's thought out responses ...

I guess i don't believe in love at first sight ... it just seems too hoky-poky to me ... i think there has to be a reason for love ... what is it that makes you want to be with another person, why is this person so special, ... yeh bina reason wala pyaar - bas yunhi ho gaya types, mujhe samajh mein nahin aata :) ... maybe its an age thing (Yikes! i hate saying that) ... when i was 16, i loved this ankhon-hi-ankhon mein wala pyaar ... now i want something more substantial ...

... hmm ... yeh sia ka married status kahan se tapak padha ? ... rahgav does't know that she is married ... and even if he did and still loved her what wrong in that ? ... as long as he is not "line maro-ing" on a married woman, what is immoral about that ?

But the CVs have attempted to make it substantial na, Bips. First thing being that Raghav connected with her pain and was fascinated by how she had guts to file a complaint against him when there was so much fear in her eyes on the bus :) The actual falling for her part came gradually.

hey bips!!
raghav connected with sia seeing her in distress!
he saw her pain, and her pain inclined him to her, may be fate or destiny, both their pain connects!
it is not about beauty or her care towards krish it is this underlying connection of pain which brought them together, and this enduring pain connected them and will make them move ahead in life!!!

So now ppl find sia too gorgeous and becoz of the charm she can be loved by anyone 😕seriously it would be better if atleast in this show we don't talk abt the physical appearance of the female lead when analyzing her character as this show is for different cause and it has got much more to deal wid her feelings and the way she is living her life than just talking abt her looks which doesn't serve as any base not only for sia but any girl to have a another chance for a better life 🥱

I think you misunderstood me. What I meant was that people get attracted to her because she is charming, and then once they get to know her they also find out she is genuinely a nice person and they get along with her that's probably why they fall in love with her.

As for the looks, I just meant that it means they get attracted to her. It's obvious the writers want us to know that both Viraj and Raghav find Jhanvi beautiful with the way Raghav looks at her and the way Viraj always goes on about how there is no-one and nothing more beautiful than her. But obviously it's not a reason they love her.

You seemed to miss out that I said love just happens and they believe she is a lovely person and this is why they fall for her, you only focused on the least important part of my comment. 😕
And charm isn't about her physical appearance it's about her personality.

They will obviously be attracted to her because of her looks, but will love her because of who she is.
