I only have an idea of the story and today watched part of the episode - OMG!😕

The dark side of Viraj was so appealing to us because there was not any beastly act like murder !

But rape! --- the CVs just killed the appeal of Viraj. However, the issue of marital rape is brought up which is in a way is good - women in our society accept marital rape day after day - it's time that people learn that marital rape is a criminal act!

@Bold: I so agree with it!

I'd look forward to his psycho side more than the normal side but yesterday was something that made my heart ache and still feel numb. I am so used to watch the romantic, rose-tinted life that this was something very disturbing to watch.

My heart goes out to all such women who have gone through such atrocity. All I kept wondering is that do women of today still remain quiet and accept such a man? I know of Shweta Tiwari who is successful and the sole bread-winner of the family and still went through the abuse.. until a point when her husband started hitting on other women. That was the final nail in the coffin in her case. In this case, Viraj is influential and Jhanvi is dependent on him.

Today's episode was quite good in terms of performances, but holywow, the torture bit scared me quite a bit. It was really disturbing, watching him whip out that belt to hit her with, drag her across the floor of the house, dump her on the bed...and ultimately...rape her.

And you're right, I don't see how Jahnvi can ever forgive him after this. However, she's going to continue staying with him, out of fear for what he'll do I guess, over anything else.

I think a miscarriage will be what motivates her to start fighting back. But as of now, I think she's still going to remain quiet.

True.. the scene was aesthetically shot.. and performance wise, we could feel for Jhanvi. The description that you wrote itself makes me cringe again. All I am wondering is that do women of today let themselves be battered?Jhanvi should have tried kicking his fractured leg. She helped him heal and this is what he does to her? To hell with his watch. 😡

I think as for now, Jhanvi would be too shaken and shattered to even stand infront of him but he may ask her to whip him with the belt as his forgiveness act😳(as per the last week segment).

Poor jhanvi, she hoped that she will change the behaviour of viraj by her love and care but as we all know the devils (here viraj) does not understand the word love and its meaning. The right place of viraj is not in the house but in a mental hospital. He does not deserves the love of his wife (jhanavi).
