I'm going to summarize the whole story in a paragraph, or try to at least đ. It won't be completely detailed so you might want to catch up with the WU if you have more questions, or feel free to post in this thread and someone will help you out.
Viraj wins over Jahnvi's family, who is completely awed by his wealth and demeanor, and they get Jahnvi married to him. Immediately, the torture starts on Jahnvi, among incidents when Viraj treats her really well (He ties her up and gags her, tries to make her eat cockroaches, rapes her, among others, but there are moments when he treats her well). He is insanely jealous when Jahnvi so much as speaks to another man, and gets Jahnvi's friend Sanjay thrown in jail for that. Jahnvi's Dadi is the only one that senses that Jahnvi isn't living a happy married life, as Viraj has everyone else fooled, so when Jahnvi is pregnant, Dadi finds a way to come and stay at the house where she tries to uncover more information about Viraj and trap him successfully to get her granddaughter out. She manages to an extent, and finds a Dr. Komolika Rana, a psychiatrist, but before much else can be explored, Viraj throws Dadi off of the terrace of a hotel and the woman is paralyzed.
Meanwhile, there's a maid working in Viraj's house who we come to find out is his mother and he's kept her hidden away and locked up for a really long time. Long story short, Jahnvi loses the baby because Viraj pushes her or something like that, after which Jahnvi really feels she has nothing more to keep her hopes alive about Viraj, and is depressed. Geeta, viraj's mother, tries to convince her to think otherwise, and try to get help for Viraj, and so she talks to Dr. Komolika Rana about Viraj's personality disorder, and Dr. Rana tries to counsel Viraj, gives him medicines, but he hates all of it, and in the end messes it up. Jahnvi gives up, and one day Geeta convinces Jahnvi to escape, and so the two head out of the house, and Viraj pursues them. The two women get into an accident where the car goes over a cliff, but Jahnvi is safe while Geeta dies then. However, everyone else doesn't know that so Jahnvi is assumed to be dead. Viraj and her family mourn for her.
Meanwhile, Jahnvi, on the recommendation of Dr. Rana, changes her identity, cuts her hair, and heads out to another city to stay with some people that Dr. Rana knows, the Awasthis. When Jahnvi's at the bus station, she runs into a woman who starts fighting with her but Jahnvi manages to escape and quickly get on a bus. As she's traveling, Raghav makes his entrance as he was fighting a goonda, and the police haul him off however. Mrs. Awasthi takes good care of jahnvi and offers her a job at her textile store. Jahnvi has further encounters with Raghav and even his friend Sundar. Raghav encourages her to fight against some of the men who were harassing her on the road, telling her something along the lines of God only helps those who help themselves.
Later on, when Mrs. Awasthi is away, Mr. Awasthi tries to rape Jahnvi, after which she escapes from there as well, and that is when Raghav leads her to a women's shelter. We find out that Raghav is working as a mechanic. A little boy is introduce, Krish, who is very attached to Raghav but never speaks, and he slowly becomes really attached to Jahnvi as well.
During this time, Viraj makes his way to wherver Jahnvi is after finding out she's alive from the note a maid left him, which another woman who had been trying to cheat him had read and only revealed to him when Viraj was torturing her. Viraj immediately goes to the doctor who conducted Jahnvi's autopsy and tortures him after which he reveals that Dr. Rana made him change the reports. And so Viraj and Unniyal, Viraj's policeman sidekick, make their way over to the city Jahnvi is in, and try to find her.
There's a Viraj/Raghav faceoff at a coffee stall.
K. I need to refresh my own memory now. I'll try to post the rest tomorrow, or Friday. :)
There's more to come!
