Star Plus' popular daily Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara (Vikram Bhatt helmed) starring Sanjay Kapoor and Smriti Kalra, had recently hit the small screen with a unique storyline but it failed to garner the numbers to sustain on the tube.

Thus, we hear that the channel has decided to pull the plug off the show.

The daily will air its last episode on 2 February 2018.

As per reliable sources, "The team of Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara has been informed about the channel's decision and the last day of shoot is 25 January.

We buzzed the concerned actors for a comment, but they remained unavailable.

Vikram Bhatt too remained unavailable.

We sent out a text message to the channel spokesperson, but received no reply.

They might have already shot for the next 2 weeks by now😕
Someone needs to fire the director of the channel. They should by now know what kind of shows work on indian tv. Why waste money, copy good shows and then ruin it and At the end blame the audience.
Just stick to their saas bahu shows and dont ruin good stories.😡

P.S: which source is this? Isnt the show doing good in UK? They didnt pull the plug on p.o.w or everest or tamana. They just reduced the no.of episodes.

I knew this was gonna happen with the ratings and all that's why I thought Sony TV was a better option, starplus says "nayi soch" but we all know that's bullshit and they're forever been showing the same saas bahu dramas thought out years.
Well then if the show is ending then I hope the makers have the balls to show the original storyline

This show was supposed to have sameer soni and the lady from ek haasina thi in place of sanjay kapoor and nikki walia. That article was dated nov 2016. Which means this show was planned more than an year ago.
Why do people even thinkbof bringing shows as bold as this on indian tv? Waste of money and waste of creativity.

They very well know that these type of shows don't work on Indian TV but they still agree to broadcast only to abruptly end it
