Disappointment, deceit and misunderstandings
Poor Anant.. This rich business tycoon is setting himself up for failure. Disregarding the fact that age difference can get in the way in future, especially when one is still so very young like Ahana.
At the moment Anant seems to be truly in love with her. He thinks he knows her so well, even better than her own mother. The high of being in love with her, has clouded his judgement. He is not able to see reality just yet.
Ahana is an angel to him and at this point, she can't do anything wrong. Laila has disapproved of the marriage taking place and he is so disappointed and distracted, he let's the kids do whatever they want. Below just two phrases of his, which shows his misunderstandings about Ahana:
'She could never intentionally hurt anyone, I know her so well.'
'You might know her so well, Ahana is very mature for her age.'
Laila.. Oh Laila.. What a beautiful twist she has shown us.. A masterstroke actually.. Ahana who tried to outsmart her mother, just to spite her, was rudely awakened. She has much to learn still. The scene between mother and daughter, in front of the mirror was perfectly executed. Laila forcing Ahana to see the truth. She was Ahana once, and history will repeat itself.. Ahana will learn the hard way, what Laila experienced and tried to protect her off. Ahana is not ready to see and accept the truth, that she is becoming (or already is) what she rebelled against.
And Laila who might not be the best mother in the world, had requested the best condition ever.. Beautiful and smart, since she has no money to pay for the wedding anyway. I wonder if Laila has calculated something more into this deal.
So basically, Ahana has deceived Laila. Laila has deceived Ahana. And with this deceit, Ahana has actually deceived herself in the worst way. And let's not forget Anant, who will be blown away by this unpleasant surprise.
Speaking of deceit, Rehaan has disappointed himself by lying to AM. I wonder when exactly this will come back to bite him in the.. Behind..
Baby Roshhh is having a difficult time. The pink cloud she has been living on has started to surround itself with dark clouds. It was a beautiful scene though, when she sat on the bench with Karan. She is sad and disappointed in her dad. She does not understand why this wedding has to happen. Then comes the news the wedding has not been approved off. Anger for Laila, and understanding for dad. She wants to speak to Anant. When she finally does, her understanding changes again to disappointment.
I am not sure if I will be able to keep track of scores, but so far I think Anant is winning in the 'most (to be) deceived' category.
