The makers have said that it is an official adaptation of Ask-I-Memmu and although I haven't see the show but did read it's synopsis and i think it was quite a dark show with a tragic end.

Having said that I want the makers to show Ahana and Rehaan angle coz I don't want Star plus to show the same old concept of wife sticking with the husband forever and then turn this show into a saas bahu melodrama...Also because I want to see Smriti and Aashim's chemistry 😆...I find Aashim very charming 😳

I am looking forward to see a dark tragic tale 😃 Makers have said that it is a bold show and I hope we will get to see something new and fresh

P.S. - I think Sanjay Kapoor really has a great screen presence and so does Nikki Aneja...Smriti is a very good actor and I think Aashim is a good looking guy.😳

I am the opposite. The show will be more interesting if they stick with the older man, younger woman pairing. Something which hasn't really been given precedence on Indian telly. I saw chemistry between Smriti and Sanjay in the promos so it will be worth it to explore that. I am an Aashim Gulati fan and decided to watch this show for him but a romance between Sanjay and Smriti will be fresh. Obviously, this won't be the case because this is an official adaptation of Ask-i-Memnu.

Official adaptation or not one can never be sure when it comes to Star Plus😆 They ruined a good show like Kya Qusoor Hai Amla Ka...Star can change the story if they want to...they can stop a show midway coz of TRPs...Star is promoting this show as the story of Ahana and Anant so one can never be sure when it comes to Star

That is why i am apprehensive about watching series on Star...last series I watched on Star was P.O.W. and it was amazing ! but Star never promoted it and pushed it to a later time slot...Star never promotes it's series and they end up getting low TRPs despite showing quality content.

Since this is an official adaptation i am not sure if Star can make pivotal changes to the story...But I am not sure how closely Star will allow it's makers to follow Ask-I-Memmu coz it will be very bold for the Indian audience and Star is nefarious for ruining shows and their stories for the sake of TRP

Having said that I don't want the makers to go Hum Dil Chuke Way...Here makers can show Ahana getting married to Anant and then having an infactuation with Rehan but realizing her mistake and going back to Anant in the end...It will be typical in my opinion...There was a similar show 'Kuch Toh Log Kahenge' where Kratika's character fell in love with her senior doctor 'Anoop Soni's' character.

When it comes to this show I want the makers to go the same way as Ask-i-Memmu...Ahana gets married to Ananat, falls in love with Rehan...that will be twisted ,dark and all the characters will go down a complex path...I am all in for a dark , tragic tale of complicated relations and star crossed love

I will be happy if makers will stick to Ask-I-Memmu story.😃

(P.S. - no matter if we want opposite things but at least we both like Aashim so one thing is common 😆)

Hey, I hope the story stays true to the original story or else it will be a typical Indian show. If this is meant to be a dark passionate love story and show the extramarital affair aspects then this will change the way Indian television will be portrayed. Vikram Bhatt is amazing in delivering excellent and unique stories... I'm so glad he is directing this show. I've watched all his web series and I was impressed with everything... pure class.

I'm all for the age gap since it's only a number, however, I'm loving Rehaan and Ahana's love story which is going to be long and beautiful. I love the bond between Ahana and Anant it's so beautifully portrayed in the first episode. Ahana has so much respect for Anant that she won't fell in love with him.

I hope it doesn't get shut down due to low trps... this show is excellent and I'm loving everything about it. From BGM, outfits, characters, and set.

If we look at the story from different perspectives then both the scenarios are fascinating.

Ahana and Ananth's equation is something unconventional and unique.Ahana respects Ananth extremely.And Ananth seeks in her a companion.I believe what pushed Ahana towards Ananth is the pain of loss of her father.She missed the presence of a guiding figure in her life.Ananth somehow filled that void.However what she feels for him is not love.It's admiration and respect.

Now coming to Rehaan and Ahana's equation,had it been under normal circumstances then they would have been like any other couple.But the fact that Ahana will be married to Ananth is what makes Rehaan and Ahana's story darker and exciting.Ask I Memnu means Forbidden Love.And this show's previous title was Ishq Gunaah.Rehaan and Ahana's love will be forbidden and in a way a crime.It will be attractive in a dangerous way.Since this show is coming from Vikram Bhatt I have no doubt that the story will take a bold turn.I am actually looking forward to Rehaan and Ahana.All I want is that the characters should remain strong.Behlul in AiM was a weak character so I want Rehaan to be more layered.I have also taken a fancy ti Aashim and Smriti's chemistry

You're spot-on Ashicim. Behlul was the agent provocateur but also was a spineless and cowardly dick weasel so more layers in his characterization is a must for me too. The original had too many players affecting the relationship dynamics and this definitely was not a smooth-sailing love story but was designed to be doomed from the very beginning. If they're going to copy scene by scene, this is going to be another Rishton ka chakravyuh on SP😆

Yes. Saloni was Rehaan's ex in the original which is why Bihter/Aahana hates R with a passion despite his flirtatious overtures. But then she gives in eventually :\

Basically the show was very, very convoluted. Let's see how they tackle this Leviathan.

Convoluted is right up Indian TV's alley. I sense some jealousy will brew in Saloni's mind over Rehaan-Ahana.

I found AIM a bit too convoluted, judging from the synopsis.
