Hi Clarity! Good to see you after so long. This is going to be a great forum. Two episodes in an we already have so much to discuss.

The thing is all soap operas are convoluted. I used to watch the American show Passions back in the day and that was even more crazy.

Hopefully, SP will not demand any changes to the script. The late night shows tend to get away with a little more. I remember when YHM started and was at the 11 pm slot. It was an absolutely perfect, urban show until SP demanded changes and slot change due to high TRPs. Then it became typical, and less progressive. Basically, shows are screwed either way; be it low TRPs or high TRPs.

That is why i am apprehensive about watching series on Star...last series I watched on Star was P.O.W. and it was amazing ! but Star never promoted it and pushed it to a later time slot...Star never promotes it's series and they end up getting low TRPs despite showing quality content.

Since this is an official adaptation i am not sure if Star can make pivotal changes to the story...But I am not sure how closely Star will allow it's makers to follow Ask-I-Memmu coz it will be very bold for the Indian audience and Star is nefarious for ruining shows and their stories for the sake of TRP

Having said that I don't want the makers to go Hum Dil Chuke Way...Here makers can show Ahana getting married to Anant and then having an infactuation with Rehan but realizing her mistake and going back to Anant in the end...It will be typical in my opinion...There was a similar show 'Kuch Toh Log Kahenge' where Kratika's character fell in love with her senior doctor 'Anoop Soni's' character.

When it comes to this show I want the makers to go the same way as Ask-i-Memmu...Ahana gets married to Ananat, falls in love with Rehan...that will be twisted ,dark and all the characters will go down a complex path...I am all in for a dark , tragic tale of complicated relations and star crossed love

I will be happy if makers will stick to Ask-I-Memmu story.😃

(P.S. - no matter if we want opposite things but at least we both like Aashim so one thing is common 😆)

Lol so true, we cannot trust any Indian channels. Recently, one of my favourite shows was cancelled on another channel. SP has cancelled shows many times especially finite, weekly shows too like what? Like let them complete there run, 7-10 more episodes left ugh.

This show has been marketed as bold and the remake of Ask-i-Memnu while the promos only focused on Anant and Ahana. SP making changes is very much possible no matter what but the late night slot means it will retain most of the original story. I find that SP is better at promoting its shows than other channels like Sony but I was surprised that they only began releasing the promos for DSJZ a week ago. I guess because SP is the most popular channel, they don't feel the need to promote shows as much?

I am the same way actually. I enjoy watching dark shows about the human condition; something that showcases real people, real emotions, grey characters. Humans aren't white and black. "Kuch Toh Log Kahenge" was a bad remake of the Pakistani show "Dhoop Kinare." I wouldn't even compare that show here because it never lived up to it's original counterpart. Either way I look forward to the show. Be it a May-December romance between Anant and Ahana or be it a doomed extra-marital affair. I am excited to see the portrayal of these characters. Behlul and Bihter were extremely flawed people and not exactly the type of lovers I would root for; one was spineless and ungrateful while the other was obsessive.

(For sure but don't worry no fights here. I am sure my thoughts and expectations will change throughout the course of the show. We can fan-girl over Aashim Gulati together, he is love. I am happy he made a return to TV. I had a feeling that he would and then it was the waiting game. So far he is 2 for 2 when it comes to choosing good scripts on TV)

I had no idea this show is supposed to be an adaptation of AIM! The promos promoted this as a love story between anant and ahana...and I haven't seen AIM so I didn't know that adnan raped beren saat's character,the wikipedia synopsis didn't mention it...anant raping his wife!...Oh God...sanjay kapoor in such a role again after that esha deol-aftab shivdasani movie.

Its good to see that there so many ppl who watches different language series. I don't watch indian serial because its bore me.
I have seen Fatmagul series and its amazing but I didn't like KQHAK as they changed the story line. I have seen some K-drama as well but its also follow same pattern in love story like indian love story. I loved pinocchio drama as story is gripping. I have seen POW on start plus and its best show that i have seen on this channel.

Vikram bhatt is good director who always show bold character n story. I have seen Twisted webseries which he directed. So I hope the best for this show to do justice with adaptation of AIM.

I want to see other turkish series with english subtitle. Would you guys please suggest me some good series and if its available online.
