Devdas style - wrong alliance

Remember in Devdas , Paro's mother got her married to this guy who was in love with his deceased first wife and never accepted Paro as his wife or loved her...
I fear Manjith ji in her rush prove the point will do something of the sorts...
I fear that Aly goni's character might have some baggage... Manjith ji was talking over the phone and saying bohat Saal pahale aap ne mere samne ek Baat rakhi thi... so looks like she didn't think this alliance was suitable for her daughter until now since she was looking for other alliances for Palak until now.. if it was such a good alliance from such a rich and big family, then why didn't she consider that alliance all this while... why was she looking for other guys... now in her despair to prove a point to Noon's woh apne hi Beti ko kisi galat rishte mein na phasa de... she is very impulsive and doesn't discuss anything with any body.. Khud desicion le Leti hain... apne husband se tak discuss nahi karti...I hope to teach Noons a lesson apne hi Beti ki zindagi mein aag na laga de..

Whatever it is .. aly Gony is a young guy not an oldie foldie ..

He might be having some issues which might crop up and palak dad might object later on

hope so... however, the guy doesn't have to be old, but he might have some other issues...Palak's mom's focus right now is only a guy richer than the Noons and looks like she is in great rush...hopefully she will not choose a wrong alliance for her...

Why just posted this same devdas thought in another thread. And just read yours. I remembered that same exact scene when I saw todays epi. It was one of the most memorable scene in that movie. Ki aaj bhi yaad hai.

But look what her decision did!!!! It destroyed everything and hurt everyone involved. They should think of long term repurcussions of short term emotions. Cooler heads are needed to solve misunderstandings and calm situation.

But phir confusions aur misunderstanding nahi honge to show kaise age badega. But felt very contrived. Ekdum se half brother ke character ko bhi evil bana diya.

It took the charm away of no major out and out villian in the show who does major politics/plotting. Aleast in the main families. Ananya too was showed as a modern understanding girl. Warna kisi aur show me woh ab tak vamp hoti.

Watched the serial one hour back. The alliance for Palak would be a wake up call for Ritwik. I do not think Manjit ji did any wrong with telling the Noon's that she will find richer guy than Noons for Palak. We all have our own say on this. I felt the reason for her telling the Noon's this is because she wants them to know that the rich guy she has selected for Palak will not make her sign the pre-nup. Honestly, I was sick and tired of the Noon's and the Poori's calling Palak and her mom, gold diggers etc.

Manjeet and VP agar married couple hote toh unke ghar ka kya hota?

yeah I too heard somewhere that Gony's character is grey, completely dhula hua nahin hai

Jaldbazi mei grey characters hi ha bolenge .. if he's good he will take the limelight away from Ricky
Mostly the guys who had come to see palku were all very decent guys
Why didn't palku mom show gony to her if he was a bird in hand


There must be something fishy in this
